About this apartment rental
The cosy and full equipped downtown apartment with Aircondition is tastefully designed by an architect and is perfectly located in the city center resp. in the heart of Vienna. The 65m² sunny apartment is vis a vis the famous “Theater an der Wien” and directly situated at the unique “Wiener Naschmarkt” – Vienna’s most famous market with very nice restaurants, bars and cafes - a fantastic hot spot of Viennese and oriental atmosphere! Every Saturday you can also join the “Flohmarkt” (Vienna’s biggest flee market).
Vienna’s top touristic attractions are very close to the apartment which is therefore the perfect location to explore the Viennese historical Centre (Distances e.g.: Viennese Secession 100 meter, Viennese Opera 300m, Museum-Quarter and Albertina Museum 300m, St. Stephens Cathedral 500m, etc). The next Underground Station is only 200m away. The largest pedestrian zones / shopping streets of Vienna (Kärtner Strasse, Mariahilfer Strasse) are 5 min to go.
Our 65m² air conditioned apartment with security door consists of the entrance area, one bedroom with a double bed, one living room with a big sofa which can be transformed into a double bed, a kitchen with dining, a bathroom and a separated toilet. Toilet and bathroom are separated from both rooms and not ensuite. Both rooms can also be entered separately (they are connected with a door). Apartment has blackout roller shutters, a big LG smart TV with international TV channels, Nespresso Cappucino Caffemaker and is sunny and quiet in an safe area.

Likely our best week long vacation ever in Europe and we have been to Paris, Barcelona, Madrid, and more. The neighborhood has great, friendly, casual dining and shops of many types. The hosts were kind and responsive. Enjoy!

This was a delightful place to experience Vienna. The apartment is stylish and comfortable. The hosts provided abundant information to help us decide how to spend our time and to manage staying in the apartment. The location is super right by the Naschmarkt with shops and restaurants and it is easy to get to the major museums and sights in central Vienna. Also, the hosts were extremely responsive to questions and travel plans. I strongly recommend this location.

The location was outstanding. The Natchmrkt was less than a block away and the metro was 2 blocks away. There were eateries and grocery stores nearby. The apartment was large and very nicely appointed. The owner provided shampoo and conditioner as well as body wash. The windows and blinds worked well. A fan is provided for comfort as there was no air conditioning.
Our only issue was the bathtub/shower which was slippery and deep. There was no grab bar to help getting in and out of the tub/shower. The half glass separator did not keep water from getting onto the shelf between the sink/tub or on the floor. The owner provided lots of towels and bedding. The elevator made it very easy to get our luggage up to the 5th floor.

Overall the trip and apartment were great. The place is nice and clean and location is great for visitors. Birgit was excellent in communicating with me prior to arrival and she met us at apartment for early check in. I would highly recommend this site for friends or anyone interested in a nice Vienna visit.

Spacious, bright and modern apt right next to the Naschmarkt and about 11 min walk to the Opera house. Host was very communicative and they met us at the apt when we arrived. Gas stove top but no oven or microwave. Nespresso machine with lots of pods and milk frother. Dishwasher with tabs supplied. There is a grocery store a 3 min walk around the corner which made grocery shopping easy. We would definitely stay here again!

Birgit could not have been more accommodating and flexible. Very responsive to all of my questions. The apartment was in a great location. Walkable to most sights but away from all the tourist noise. I loved being near both the Opera house and the Musikverein. Safe neighborhood. Felt comfortable walking back from the concert hall and opera. Close to grocery store and places to eat.

We were thrilled with our rental in Vienna. Great apartment, very spacious and the location really cannot be any better. Host was very responsive and the apartment very clean/tidy.
Would definitely stay here again - and in fact hope to again some day. Vienna is a wonderful city.

Spent 7 nights here on our first trip to Vienna. Super close to the market and a main metro hub. Also a decent walk to most places.

The apartment is well-furnished and comfortable. The location is excellent, so close to the Nasch Markt and a quick walk to the Inner Stadt, museums, Musikverein and other sites, as well as public transportation. There are appliances and cooking utensils enough to make a simple meal and coffee for 3-4 people. The hostess was on top of everything - responsive, helpful and kind. Will definitely stay here again!

This is a sparkling clean, sunny, lovely apartment very close to markets, restaurants, and the major attractions of the city. Great communication before and during our stay with our host. Overall, a good stay, with a few minuses that could easily be remedied by the host (new sheets and towels, e.g.), and a couple that were beyond her control, re building maintenance and a rare elevator outage. As others have mentioned, a shower curtain or a better way to contain the water spray is needed.

Excellent, we stayed here for a few days to visit Vienna. The appartment is nice, all the necessities are there and can be freely used. There is a supermarket just around the corner and of course the Naschmarkt across the street. Statsoper en shopping is just twenty minute walk or you could take the subway through Karlsplatz, which is not even ten minutes walking distance. Recommend it!

This property is wonderful! Great location, very well appointed, home away from home. Very quiet and comfortable. Will certainly stay here again, and would recommend highly. It’s high end accommodation, yet you’ll feel like you're experiencing being a resident of Vienna.

This apartment was the bestVRBO we have stayed in. We have stayed in VRBOs in Europe and the US. There was everything we could possibly need in the unit, our central location was superb, and our host was so helpful and accomidating. I would recommend staying here if you come to Vienna.

Absolutely loved our stay! The apartment was clean and well presented and had everything needed-including re-usable bags for shopping and umbrellas for weather. The location is wonderful-The Naschmarkt is across the street and its an easy walk to many of the museums, opera house, shopping district and other sights. The hosts were wonderful and very easy to communicate with. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

The apartment is in a very central location, easy walking to lots of sites in central Vienna. It is exactly like depicted in the pictures. Birgit was very responsive to my questions and the check in and check out process was very easy. Would absolutely stay here again!

This is a fantastic apartment - the location is perfect got site seeing. 5 minutes walk from Karlplatz metro which then easikf connects you to all the tourists spots - Schönbrunn Palace in one direction and the centre of Vienna in the other direction. It is 1 minute away from Naschmarkt which has great restaurants and a nice vibe to it.
The apartment itself feels very homely and well furnished. The beds are comfy. The kitchen is well stocked with pans and cooking utensils - it was nice to have little things like olive oil, salt, pepper etc - we ended up cooking a few times. The owner was incredible with check in and check out. Communication was very easy. I'd highly recommend this apartment!

We LOVED our stay at this place. It was beautifully decorated, spacious, and well stocked with everything imaginable. The location was also ideal - walking distance to the heart of Vienna with wonderful restaurants nearby. It was also very quiet in the evenings. We really enjoyed staying here and will come back again.

Birgit was the very best hostess! She gave us excellent instructions on where to park our car, met us at her home and showed us all of the things we needed to know to enjoy our stay! Her home was well-stocked! It is also conveniently located to use the public transportation system during our stay in Vienna! She also had a Rick Steve’s book and maps on-site, facilitating our visit, as well!

Location-Comfort-Quiet. This apartment was great. We felt so fortunate to have stayed here. My daughters and I just spent four days in Vienna. We walked everywhere. Birgit’s apartment is very close to the Karlsplatz station so getting in from the airport was a breeze. The famous Naschmarkt is steps away. The Opera House and Albertina are a 15 minute walk. We were out 10 to 12 hours every day and getting back to the apartment was always a joy knowing were were in such a nice, well stocked home.

We absolutely loved this apartment and can’t wait to return. Everything was absolutely perfect - from the cleanliness of the apartment, to the thoughtful decor, to the location, everything was delightful. We especially appreciated the blackout blinds in the bedroom as we adjusted from jet lag. And Birgit, our host, was really wonderful. She was responsive and kind at every moment. We really do feel like we’ve found a sweet little nest in Vienna and hope to be back soon.

Exceptional apartment very close to the city center, just across the street from Naschmarkt which makes your food shopping such a pleasant experience.The apartment is also 5 minutes walk from the State Opera. It's very elegant , convenient, tastefully decorated. Very clean and fully stocked with every necessity. Communication with Birgit was always pleasant and quick. I would be very happy to return.

We loved this apartment. It is so spacious, open, and well decorated, it really felt like a home and not cookie cutter vacation rental. There were numerous thoughtful details - comfortable pillows for lounging on the couch, a variety sizes of cups and glasses, a little cabinet to put your shoes away by the front door, and electric shades for the windows.
The location could not be better. Around the corner from the Naschmarkt, a nice grocery store, and easy walking distance to the opera and main pedestrian zone.
Brigit was a lovely host. She was easy to communicate with, and met us at the apartment to make sure we had everything we needed. She got us fresh tulips as a welcome, which was so thoughtful! (And it happened to be my birthday, so that was especially nice!).
Do be aware that the apartment is on the 5th floor, but there is a small elevator which was perfect for taking our luggage up and down. We used the stairs the rest of the time.
We would happily stay at this lovely apartment again!

We spent 10 days in this apartment and would happily return. Besides being an attractive space, it was extremely comfortable and functional. And it is quiet and very conveniently located. We didn’t meet the owner, but the few times we contacted her, we heard back very promptly.

I had a wonderful experience staying at this apartment. The hosts were extremely accommodating and friendly. The apartment was impeccably clean and well appointed. The location was perfect for walking to the major sites while being nestled in a non-touristy area with lots of affordable and delicious restaurants and cute local coffee shops. Would definitely stay here again.

This apartment was perfect for our stay in Vienna, and I wish we could have gotten to stay longer. The host was very friendly and responsive. The host was very thoughtful (offered to get us groceries upon arrival since it was Christmas Eve and a lot of stores were closed then) and always responsive whenever we had questions about amenities etc. The apartment was huge and clean with so much space to eat, work, and sleep. The location was also very convenient

Once we occupied the residence, never could get ahold of the owners and we had some issues. Couldn’t open our door, I sat on steps for over a hour before we could find someone in the building to help us. Never could get the stove to work. The owner could have contacted us to see if we were doing ok

We found the flat very comfortable, well equipped and in a great location. Our flight wasn’t due to arrive until late and was actually delayed, but Birgit and Wolfgang were very accommodating about this. Wolfgang spent time explaining everything even when we arrived so late. If we visit Vienna again, we would be very happy to stay there.

This was the second time I stayed her circling back after my trip to Italy. Birgit and Wolfgang were amazing yet again! Loved the location to the market, tourist attractions and the train station and bus stop I needed to take to connect with my daughter. I will be back and this will be my preferred home away from home!! Lots of memories already with this place! The layout was PERFECT!

We had a great time during our visit to Vienna . Brigit and Wolfgang arranged to meet us upon our arrival and showed us where everything was and how it worked. The apt was perfect and all of our needs were met and exceeded!! Great location to the openair market, sightseeing, trains, busses, trams and restaurants. We highly recommend this stay and look forward to returning in 2 weeks!!

We stayed in Vienna with my sisters for three nights, apartment was perfect, clean, bright ( don't get the shutters fool you) with excellent water pressure and air conditioning units. We found them very useful with the beautiful warm September weather. Having elevator was helpful, given one of my sisters recent knee surgery. Grocery market was around the corner and Nashmarkt with variety of restaurants across the street. Perfect location! Walkable to many historic places Vienna has to offer. Host was very responsive and helpful, and the location was great! We could walk almost everywhere we wanted to go. It was very nice having the market right across the street. Check in process was easy and they even left some wine on the table for my birthday! 10/10.
