The lakeshore cottage was amazing and the entire family loved it.

Very nice place with a front balcony that had great seating and a partial view of the lake. The place was clean and comfortable. Best of all was the garage full of bikes and kayaks! The beach was just a half block away across the street, so we could launch the kayaks down there. And easy to bike from the house in various directions.

Most well stocked home I’ve seen! Owner provided a list of restaurants and things to do, great views of the lake from the front porch. We will be back for a longer visit next time

This location is the best, it was quiter than staying in town, but just a few minutes away. It is about as close to the lake as you could want, and stocked with everything you could hope.
The kitchen had everything we needed. When I thought the floor plan was a little dark at night, I found an extra nightlight in the kitchen drawers.
The garage was stocked with inflatables and kayaks and bikes and I can't imagine anything else we could have possibly needed for a fun trip.
This location is the best and we hope to stay here again soon. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

I booked this idealylic cottage for my wife's birthday. While the Seaplane I had booked for birthday was cancelled due to weather, we were able to take in the car show and shops as the random rain torrents went on. It was very enjoyable to return to this cottage, the fireplace, and the view of the lake! The host were very responsive in answering questions. It is very likely that we will book this place again the next time we stay in Coeur d'Alene!

We were in love with the cottage!! Everything was perfect. The size, the location and of coarse, Jack. He communicated with us from the beginning of our stay until the end, making sure that our needs were met and that everything was perfect.
We are looking forward to our next visit to Couer D'Alene and the cottage.

The cottage was very clean and cozy and the hosts are awesome! They provided us a lot of information about the area, things to do, etc. and always quick to respond to any questions. We will definitely stay there again when we are in the area.

Very clean, very well-stocked, and extremely comfortable. The location is perfect for walks, hikes, bike riding and shopping. Everything we needed was within walking distance.
We would have loved to extend our stay if not for real-life!

The property has a great location. The kitchen had a good supply of dishes, pans and utensils. There were plenty of towels. The rooms were comfortable. The view was peaceful. If you are staying in the wintertime when there might be snow, you might want to know that the garage is detached from the house. This wasn’t a problem for us, but it might be for someone coming during the winter time. I would definitely recommend this property.

Everything was wonderful in this cute cottage. Clean, full amenities, view of the lake and the owner has the place stocked with everything you need! Even bikes and kayaks available in the garage! Very nice owner who communicated immediately! Fantastic neighborhood too across from the lake and we enjoyed a few hikes on Tubb's Hill! Owner gave us some great restaurant recommendations too! Great place! Great time! 5-Stars!

Awesome little cottage! Perfect for our family of four to gather for Thanksgiving.
Close to town and directly across from Lake CoeurD’Alene. It had everything (& more) we wanted for a long weekend getaway…even bikes and kayaks!! The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed, the bedding was cozy and we were walking (or biking) distance to anywhere.

I live in North Idaho, so I know a bit about the area and the offerings. This stay was for a min-sabbatical and it was a godsend.
The little cottage is clean and warm, with a Nest thermostat at your command. It's quiet, well-stocked with cooking tools, oils, coffee and more. There is off-street parking in back which I suggest you back into if you drive a big truck like mine. It's so nice to be off the street that it's worth the neck-craning.
Across from the legendary Sander's Beach (small Sander's to be precise), it's a one minute walk to the lake where I enjoyed early morning a late night cold soaks of 5:00. Just a few block North is the equally legendary Tubbs Hill, which one can make an easy hike along the stunning views of the loop trail or into a semi-challenging summit if you choose to kit-up with a plate-carrier and/or backpack.
The restaurants and shops of Sherman Avenue are a 10:00 walk away. Sweet Lou's was good, Hudson's Hamburgers was better, though not health food. ;>
Returning the the cottage after these outings was everything I needed from the stay: silence (aside from occasional dog barks), comfortable furniture, including the bed and bedding and a well-outfitted kitchen from a good dinner.
In check-out, the hosts simply ask you run the dishwasher and they promise to take care of the rest.
I wholly recommend this place.

Sitting on the welcoming front porch, being warmed by a gas table-top flickering fire, one looks across street (to the left) to Lake CdÁ. Cottage layout is very straight forward ... combined living/dinning room, kitchen to left, one bedroom off kitchen and other off living room where bathroom (tub/shower) is located. If neighbor would move their truck, parked in alley, parking in back would be much more convenient (small vehicles only in alley). We were out'n about most of the time, so didn't take advantage of cottage's TVs or games. Jack is a very responsive host - we'd certainly stay there again.

Very cozy cottage, close to everything, with a lake view. Fall is a wonderful time to visit Coeur d’Alene.

We were visiting family in the area and had the fortune of finding this gem of a cottage for our four day stay in CDA. The home is super clean, well appointed, comfy and stocked with everything you could ask for and more. I especially loved sitting at the dining room table with my early morning coffee and watching the sunrise over the lake (while my husband slept in of course :) The view from the front porch is lovely and the street is quiet. Our beloved furry child LOVED running around the fenced backyard. We had planned on exploring a little more of CDA but rarely left this sweet cottage we enjoyed so very much! Maybe we’ll see more of the town next time!

So happy to have stayed at this cottage on a 3-day visit to Couer d'Alene. The house itself was lovely (and the bed in the master bedroom was super comfy). The location was fantastic. I sat on the porch several times looking at the lake across the street. We walked to dinner from the cottage every night and it was great. Definitely will try to book here again when I go back to CDA.

Jack's house was perfect for us during our first time in Coeur d'Alene as part of a long road trip. We loved how close the location was to the lake. We enjoyed the porch out front while having an evening cocktail. The house was clean and comfortable, and the back yard was great for our dog. I'm not sure we will get back to this jewel of an area, but if we do, we will definitely try and stay here again.

We loved our stay, with walks up Tubbs and paddle boarding trips to beaches. The quick jaunt to town and Coeur d’Alene Coffee Company was fun, and the location was perfect for feeling ‘away’ in a quiet lakeside neighborhood while also having conveniences minutes away
The house is perfectly cute and comfortable, and our mornings and evenings on the porch were bliss.
Jack, the owner, was accessible, warm, and helpful.
Can’t wait to come again next year!

We visit Coeur d’Alene 1-2 times a year and hope to eventually relocate here. This property was definitely one of our favorite stays for many reasons. It is located across from Sanders Beach and is in a lovely/quiet neighborhood. We loved sitting on the front porch next to the gas fire pit. The home had everything we needed, very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Super responsive host and communication was great. Will definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time in Coeur d'Alene and this house was a big part of that. It was clean, comfortable, and in a fabulous location. The AC worked great during the hot weather. We loved sitting on the front porch and watching the world go by. Close to hiking trail, great neighborhood for walking, public beach a very short walk away.

We loved our stay! The cottage was perfect for our family. Communication from the property manager was amazing! The property was clean and well kept. We ride bikes to downtown for dinner. We hiked Tubb Hill. The weather didn’t cooperate to enjoy the lake much but the swim beach was super close and we still enjoyed a little time down there. I loved being able to hear the waves from the front porch! Cannot wait to come back to CDA and I would definitely stay at this cottage again. Thank you for everything!

The cottage was a very relaxing place to be. We enjoyed seating on the porch. The owner was very accommodating we ended up extending our stay by an extra day. We would definitely return.

You cannot beat the location of this very cute, clean, and comfortable cottage in CDA. It has pretty lake views, and two small public beaches across the street. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood to see all of the interesting styles, shapes, and sizes of homes. We never used our car during our stay. The trailhead for Tubbs Hill is literally down the street, and sights, shops, and restaurants in CDA were a lovely 15 - 20 minutes walk from the house. Communication with the owner was easy; check in and out was easy. Loved this place!

Super location on the lake with quick access to downtown. Loved the house and all it had to offer. The fenced backyard was perfect for our dogs and we were right by Tubbs Hill trails. Used the bikes, and a kayak is also available. There is beach access across the street. Host was very communicative and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

The Lakeshore Cottage is a very lovely house in the perfect location- in the quiet solitude of Sanders Beach and also a short walk/ride to downtown. The owner is incredibly accommodating and helpful. We left there trying to figure out how soon we can return! 5-stars across the board…

My husband and I hosted my daughter and her boyfriend for a Christmas gift/birthday weekend and this was perfect!
The location was amazing. The size of the house worked really well. Neighborhood was nice. Walking trails nearby on Tubb Hill are an added bonus.

This was our second stay in this cottage next to Sanders Beach in Coeur d’Alene and we hope to stay there many more times as the location and interior of this cottage are spot on. Working with the owner is also stress free. Highly recommended!

We loved being right next to Tubbs Hill for hikes. The neighborhood is full of mature trees and we enjoyed the fall colors. There were many places to eat and get a cup of coffee close by. The cottage felt comfortable and relaxing. If we had been there in the summer, we would have loved the proximity to the lake!
