About this bed and breakfast
☆Recent Guest review Highlights☆
"Hand down say this is the best experience I have ever had."bb
"We felt right at home"
"This place is a true gem and we definitely look forward to staying here again"
** We have done an interior furnishing upgrade. Highlighted changes: new king bed in master, new art work, some new décor/furnishings**
Welcome to our home! This **GUEST SUITE** is a spacious 2 BR/1Bath suite is located in West Vancouver, a short drive away from the downtown core, best of the North shore and close to ferry terminal, beaches, and snow hills. There are two bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with a queen bed, as well as a sofa bed in the living space. Additional rollaway bed & floor mattress available on request as well as a Pac n' Play. Bedrooms have black out curtains for those who like a late sleep in!
Most comfortable for groups of 4-6 guests. 6+ will be a bit tight so please do read the listing and ask questions if you are a bigger group! There is 1 large bathroom with shower/bathtub.
** Two important things to note! Hosts live upstairs but give complete privacy. The suite has private entrance and we give privacy when using the pool/backyard. We also have added a puppy to our family, Nova, a Portuguese Water Dog. She is very adorable, about 40 lbs. full grown and hypoallergenic. She does not go into the suite, but you may see her outside during your stay or possibly hear her if she gets excited! If dogs bother you please do not book here :). **
☆Breakdown of Rooms & Sleeping Arrangements☆
Blue room: 1 King bed, space for Floor Mattress/rollaway bed/pack-n-play (2-3 guests)

- All 5-star stays and counting!
☆☆☆PLEASE NOTE☆☆☆
October - April Guests:
At this time the pool is too cold to use! **We offer the hot tub at a fee of $30 per night to offset our own costs** and **heating the pool will not be possible in the winter/spring**. The rates for fall/winter reflect this!! Exception: Christmas & New Years, complimentary hot tub heating for the holiday season!
In times of rain, patio cushions will be stored in the pool shed for guest access when needed. We will be setting up a separate covered patio during these months to enjoy morning coffee with heat lamps outside the suite in late October 2018.
May - September Guests:
Hot tub heating is complimentary in these months and pool stays warm by the sun :). Still a bit cold for the pool in May, depending on Vancouver weather.
Backyard is set up at all times except on the occasional rainy day where we store in the pool shed temporarily.
Check-in is 3pm and Check-out at 11am to allow enough time for cleaners to turn over the space for the next group. We are happy to store bags before or after check-out times for those with early/late travel plans.
☆Important Space Details☆
- The space is majority windows and gets a lot of natural light (and nice view of the pool!). Bedrooms have black out blinds.
- Pool is not separately gated so for guests with younger kids we require an adult to be outside with them at all times
- Although we are upstairs, the floor is insulated so you will very minimally hear any foot traffic
Guest access
The suite itself is all yours. The backyard and all the amenities (including BBQ, fire pits, hammock, etc.) are of course yours to use as well, but shared space with us, your hosts. That being said we believe in giving you your privacy so you’ll feel like you’re the only ones there!
☆PLEASE NOTE☆: October - May: Vancouver weather tends to not always be ideal for pool and patio use. During this time we store the patio furniture in the pool shed for easy access for guest set up on nice days! We have an undercover private patio space we set up for guests during this time outside the suite with heat lamps. If raining, we are happy to share our BBQ upstairs which is covered for guest use as well :)
Interaction with guests
I live in the main house (above), but you will hardly see me as I work in the city during the day and typically long hours.
Other things to note
- This is not a party pad! No parties or events, please. We are in a residential neighborhood & don't want to disturb our neighbors
- Backyard is shared space with your hosts!
- Local guests, please make sure you review house rules and let us know the reason of your visit.
- No AC but each space has a fan and the space itself is cool with the trees surrounding the property. All the French doors open to allow for air flow as well. We do have heating & bathroom floor heating as well.
- Absolutely no underage partying or drinking permitted, please don't ask, the answer will be no!
- As we live surrounded by trees on occasion you may see some animals on the property during your stay - anything from birds, squirrels and other wood animals

I was súper confortable, we enjoyed the apartment

Nice guest house in a property including a garden and pool / spa. We apreciated so much after our day long walks in the mountains, parks and in town of Vancouver.
We couldn't dream of a better location, near most points of interest, just aside the road to Whistler and Horseshoe Bay departure ferries to the island of Vancouver.
To conclude the hosts were very nice to us and it helped to spent that unforgetable holidays in Vancouver.
If we were to come again we would chose the same guest house.

We were looking for a quiet, luxurious retreat and this was perfect. Host was very helpful and responsive. Beautiful back yard with dining, lounging area with pool hot tub and bbq. Perfect for breakfast in the morning. We just ordered skip daily and there are a few decent breakfast places nearby. We also had some evening meals there. A car is a must to be able to get around. Overall I would rate this as a perfect get away and we were 100% satisfied and would return anytime.

We had a great stay at this home. Location was excellent for our purposes (some hiking and outdoor activities in West Van and up to Squamish and also some events for a wedding in Vancouver). The apartment was well equipped, we never heard the Owners upstairs and we had complete access to the backyard and pool. A lovely stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The space was clean and spacious. The pool and backyard were superb and a lot of fun. The small touches like snacks, coffee/tea, and some fridge items were a nice treat. Plus this rental is close to many sights and activities in and around Vancouver. Highly recommended!

Perfect Vacation Rental
Such a great spot! Great location if you are travelling to Squamish, Whistler, Grouse mountain, and Capilano suspension bridge. Loved that there were a few staples to get us started as we arrived late Monday evening. We used the pool and hot tub more than a few times. Super clean and quiet. It's in a cool neighbourhood and only 8 minutes from everything. We took the kids to Ambleside park a couple of times and it has a great playground and splash pad right on the water. Highly recommend if you have little ones.
For sure book this if you are staying in Vancouver and have rented a car.
Thanks very much to the Dhaliwal family for hosting us! This place made for a really great vacation.
