About this apartment rental
A quiet and lovingly prepared penthouse apartment as a vacation home located on the first floor and basement. Here you can relax from the hectic everyday life, hike, bike, or experience the natural and cultural features of the North Hessian Dreiseenland between Edersee, Diemelsee and Twistesee. Your vacation can have many faces. Children are also catered for, as there is a cable slide in the garden where they can slide down the slope. Your landlord also lends a kettcar, scooter and bobby car free of charge, and can organize covered wagon rides.
In the eastern foothills of the Rothaargebirge, you have short distances to three of northern Hesse's most beautiful reservoirs, which invite you to boat trips and water sports. Well signposted hiking and biking trails characterize the Twistetal. In any case, you should pay a visit to the baroque and residential castle in Bad Arolsen, which is also the birthplace of the Dutch Queen Emma. Likewise, the district town of Korbach will be on your list of places to visit. You should definitely explore this only Hanseatic town in Hesse on foot. Protected by the two mighty towers of the Gothic hall churches, there is much to experience and enjoy in the well-preserved old town of Korbach. Medieval fortifications, stone warehouses, well-preserved half-timbered houses (German Half-Timbered House Route) and the town hall of the city, built as early as 1377, are witnesses of tradition, power and former wealth.
Please note that: Bed linen and towels are not included in the room rate in 2025; guests can rent them at the property for an additional charge of EUR 10.00 per person, or bring their own. Consumption costs are included in the room rate. Up to one pet is allowed.
