Several outdoor terraces will invite you to have a meal al fresco and enjoy the sunsets.

Being our first trip to Tuscany, we had many choices and areas to stay and we nailed it. Being within 30 minutes of Florence and Greve and the main highway only 5 minutes away on these little roads that barely fit two cars is a huge plus. The villa is private and you have your own pool, unlike the neighbors. Many owners split villas in two so be careful. The owner really tries to make it a great experience. He does stay on the property, in his own home, but made himself invisible EXCEPT when we needed him. The villa sits at the very end of the road so you have no neighbors and your views are vines, churches and Tuscany sun on multiple patio areas. It has no A/C but the owner had tower fans in each room and nights cool down the villa with thick walls. The downstairs common area is minimal, the kitchen, but who is staying inside when in Tuscany? Great place. Great location and an owner who cares.

An absolutely stunning place at the end of a road with 360 views over vineyards and olive trees and a beautiful garden. The house is genuine and comfortable with large bedrooms and several bathrooms. The kitchen is smaller but very well equipped! There are many different places to sit outside depending on the weather and the pool area is clean with many sunbeds.
To summarize…the place for a genuine Tuscany stay!

This property was absolutely charming! I was impressed with the restoration of the property and the amount rooms available for our family. The outside sitting areas and pool are beautiful and the sunset and sunrise are breathtaking. We enjoyed the wine and olive oil produced on the property and the hospitality from Giampaolo. The kitchen is small to prep family meals but there are several local restaurants to have dinner. We want to go back!

We had a wonderful time at Archipettoli. It is a truly unbeatable location set at the end of a track with amazing views all around. Every bit of the garden is beautiful and well thought out with plenty of places to sit and enjoy the Tuscan countryside. The pool is sparklingly clean and surrounded by lovely planting and plenty of loungers. Several spots are ideal for eating al fresco and comfortable chairs for reading in. The house itself has elegant bedrooms with nice furniture and clean generous bathrooms. The only bit of the house that was a little underwhelming was the kitchen which, due to the layout of cooker/dishwasher etc was a bit tight for more than one person to cook in, and the sitting room, which wasn’t very inviting to spend an evening in when it was too cold to sit outside. These would absolutely not stop me from visiting again! Everything else wonderful and I very much hope to go again soon.

The villa is absolutely amazing and the care by hosts Valerio and Giampaolo was wonderful and very friendly. They were always ready to help us with any question we had. We had an absolutely wonderful family holiday there and have already booked to return.

Archipettoli is a place full of wonderful rustic charm. It is very clean and comfortable and the pool is a really good size for a group of people. Giampaolo the Villa Manager is extremely helpful and nothing is to much trouble. The views of the surrounding countryside are breathtaking especially at sunrise and sunset. The property is well located for visiting places such as Florence, Siena and San Gimignano and the local town of San Casciano has some good cafes, restaurants and shops. We can't wait to return!

Outstanding
We have stayed at many Homeaway/Air B&B places, this was the most idyllic in views and location. Breathtaking double vistas from the property. The pool is large and my children spent hours playing. There are some good outdoor eating areas- photos don't do it justice. Florence is very close and we drove in very easily a few times.
Siena and Pisa are straight forward rewardng day trips. There is no Air Con, which was a bit frustrating, but they do have fans which surficed. The kichen is the most rustic room in the property but it had everything we needed with decent quantities of crockery. Eating out is such a pleasure in Tuscanny and the owner emails with recommended restaurants was great. We would go again in a heart beat.

Tuscan paradise
We were a group of 8-10 friends and family at this delightful villa, nestled in the Tuscan hills. Close to the highways for day trips to Luca, Sienna, Firenze, Montalcino, Greve in Chianti, and many more towns. Surrounded by olive trees, and vineyards, a quiet idyllic location. Delicious olive oil made from olives on the property, and several types of wine, both whites and reds, also made from the grapes on the property. We lacked for nothing and the villa was well appointed. Giampaolo, the on-site manager, was friendly, available and a font of local knowledge. Two weeks flew by and we had a swell time, sad to leave!

Archipetolli...A True Destination Place
We were a group of six (3 couples). We had been looking forward to our stay at Archipettoli for months. Because this was our first visit to Florence and the surrounding areas of Tuscany, we felt a need to be on the go, trying to see and absorb as much as possible. However, we were able to spend time both inside and about the grounds of this spectacular residence each day, doing as little as possible...gazing out at the endless views, swimming in the pool, drinking the local wine (Archipettoli Blanco Toscano), reading in the Tower room and wandering among the grape vineyard and olive orchard. It was a spectacular location from which we visited several local villages as well as Florence, Luca, Pisa, Siena and Saturnia. Valerio was easy to work with as we prepared to make our trip and Giampaolo took great care of us on site.
Archipettoli is not just a place to stay. It is a true destination place, full of charm, beauty and history. We hope to one day make a return visit.

Delightful secluded property
We thoroughly enjoyed our week staying at Archipelotti, it was the ideal base for exploring Tuscany. The property is surrounded by picturesque vineyards, olive trees and rolling hills. The pool and gardens were great for the five children in our party and the house was comfortable and well equipped. We will definitely come again.

Fantastic stay at Archipettoli
Thank you for this perfect house in the middle of Tuscany.
We enjoyed the house location, close to Pisa (1h), Florence (50mn) and Siena (40mn). Being at the end of a cul de sac in the middle of the vineyard and olive trees was nice and quiet.
The house was perfect for our group of 10 persons, with additional rooms available.
The guests were super helpful, available as needed.
The house was very well equipped with Miele appliances and new/very clean utensils and kitchen/dinner ware.

A once in a lifetime trip
My husband and I had the privilege of taking out parents on a trip. We began in Switzerland with a train ride on the Bernina Express....do this if you never have! From there, we overnighted in Milan where we spent a day before picking up our rental van and heading to Archipettoli. Here, we spent 5 nights from May 3- May 8, 2019, before heading to Rome for a few days.
We were greeted by Giampaolo, one of the brothers that owns this beautiful property and villa. Our parents loved staying here. We spent most of our days out exploring Tuscany, Florence (Firenze) and other spots. So we did not spend a lot of time here at the villa. It was unseasonably cool, almost downright cold. Therefore, we had to use the heat, which was an added expense. But honestly, the heat was kept low and we were all comfortable; therefore, the additional cost was low as well.
This villa has been meticulously restored and kept. Extremely clean with plenty of room.
We, also, had a chef come one evening to prepare dinner at the villa, which was delicious. Two side notes, the villa has some friendly cats. If you don't like cats, they were not a problem. Just a head-ups. One of our Tuscany adventures was Tuscanyballooning.com (a hot air balloon company) that took us right over the villa...incredible beauty all around. We were there during the poppy flower season, which also added to the beauty. Giampaolo recommended a local ristorante that we would all highly recommend as well, La Fattoria near Tavarnelle/Romita. We ate here twice. If we were to ever return, I would not hesitate to return to Archipettoli.

Parfait !

ARCHIPETTOLI : Wir kommen wieder.

Perfect Tuscany countryside experience
Staying at Archipettoli was a perfect Tuscany "dream come true" experience. The hospitality of owners Valerio and Gianpaolo was amazing, they live in separate house on the estate and were always helpful when we needed some assistance - like when we locked ourselves out of the house for couple of times during one evening:)
Villa itself is decorated in authentic Tuscan country style, with enough space and privacy for several families, with separate beds for up to 12 persons. We enjoyed long dinners in large kitchen downstairs, while the kids could play and watch movies in the tower living rooms.
Volterrani family are producing their own amazing wine from Sangiovese grapes grown in surrounding Archipettoli vineyards, and olive oil from their own olive trees. They were kind enough to arrange a shipment of couple of grates of 2011 vintage to us back home to Estonia!
Despite late October, it was nice to dive into the refreshing pool after jogging along nearby sloping cypress-lined roads with extraordinary views to typical Chianti countryside.
The villa is conveniently located near the main Florence-Sienna highway, with 30-minute drive to Florence.
Book now before everyone else discovers this well kept secret!

Amazing Villa!!
We were 3 families traveling together and did a lot of research to find the right villa and location - but' its hard to tell from pictures what you're getting. I must say Archipettoli could not have been a better choice. It's at the end of a road on top of a hill with 360 degree stunning views, surrounded by vineyards and quaint villages. A beautiful yard, with many outdoor eating/sitting spots, and a lovely lawn that does down to a large pool which our kids would not leave. The house itself is exactly what we wanted, classic old, stone Tuscany villa, spacious (there are lots of rooms, including a cool "tower" that the kids loved) and comfortable. There was plenty room for all of us. We loved the decor, simple and comfortable, amazing views from every window, and a well stocked kitchen with a large farmhouse table that we all fit around for breakfast. Giampaolo and his brothers were great hosts, helping us navigate the area and answering any questions. Location is perfect - close to Florence and Siena, and lots of wineries. What a great memory - we highly recommend this spectacular villa!

Wonderful Estate
The property is beautiful. My kids enjoyed the grounds and the pool, and we spent many lazy days with a glass of wine in hand. An easy trip to Florence, or there are many restaurant options nearby. We highly recommend this home.

The Villa of our Dreams!
Booking online, you never know exactly what to expect...this villa far exceeded our expectations. The pictures on the vrbo website do show the beauty of the area, however, experiencing it in person is altogether different - and better! The first evening, enjoying wine at the outdoor area and watching the sunset, we felt like we must be dreaming. So beautiful!!!
There were three couples traveling together - we rented a van in Florence, and made the easy drive to the villa. Giampaolo and Walter (two of the owners) met us at the villa, and made us feel right at home. The villa is laid out perfectly for three couples - 3 separate sleeping areas, with a bath in each. Amazing views from every window.
We had one week at the villa, and decided to take a day trip every other day - so we could enjoy just 'being' a few days. Very easy day trip to Florence (we took a bus from Bargino, so we didn't have to deal with the city traffic), fairly easy day trip to Siena and San Gimignano, and a not-so-easy day trip to Cinque Terre (it was a very long day). Our best memories of the trip are THE VILLA!!!
Three of us in the group are runners, and we enjoyed running the hills of Tuscany - and discovering a few things that we would not have otherwise. There is a winery just a couple of miles from the villa that we highly recommend, Il Bacio. LOVED our experience there!
European travel can be taxing...long flights, delays at the airports, waiting, waiting, and more waiting...the villa made it all worth it!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The Best Tuscan Experience
We stayed here in October 2010. We were a party of ten. Five adults and five children. The children were from ages 2-7. We stayed here for nine days and had already been in Italy for two weeks; this was by far our favorite location.
Two of the owners, Giampallo and Walter were an absolute pleasure to meet and be around. They gave us great insight to the area as well as some local wineries that were a must see.
We had the pleasure of tasting and buying their own private label wine....WOW. It was fabulous....I hope that they will be able to export this to the US so I may continue to enjoy it for years to come.
The house and the grounds were very well kept. Our children had a wonderful time and enjoyed being out in the country side. I can't say enough about this place. I will be sure to stay here whenever we visit Italy. We felt at home and it was a difficult place to leave.

Quintessential Tuscany: amazing property!
We stayed at Villa Archipettoli in July 2010. We were with 5 adults (parents + 3 teenagers) and this lovely country mansion was a true highlight of our vacation in Tuscany. Everything is perfect about this place: location, size of the property, (you could stay with many more people or multiple families), beautiful grounds, nice pool, lovely olive tree orchard, etc. The house itself is in perfect condition, renovated by keeping its traditional style, well equipped kitchen, etc. Around the house, it has a variety of places where you can sit and enjoy a certain part of the day: breakfast in the shadow in front of the house, cocktails around the pool in comfortable lounge chairs, and romantic Al Fresco dinning under the covered dining area. The owners were extremely friendly and hospitable. You don’t see them around but they are there when you would need them. Villa Archipettoli is located in the center of Tuscany and allows day trips to all highlights of the Tuscan area. I can heartily recommend this lovely house! Tip: ask the owners for a bottle of the olive oil from their own orchard...

Fabulous Tuscan Villa Met All of Our Expectations
I was so daunted by the sheer number of villas to rent in Tuscany I count my lucky stars that the one I selected was perfect!
Located on top of a hill at the end of a country lane, the villa, grounds and views in all directions were quintessential Tuscany without being a cliche. The villa's interior is updated where it counts (bathrooms and appliances) but retained a rustic charm with antique furniture, hand hewn doors and a ginormous oven/fireplace in the kitchen where it was not difficult to imagine former residents several hundred years ago cooking their meals.
Villa was super clean, grounds excellently maintained and correspondence/transaction with the owner a breeze.
Archipetolli's other great advantage was location. A short (but beautiful) ten minute drive to a major highway allows easy visits to Florence, Siena and a host of quaint hill towns.
All of my expectations were met - and more - and all five us in our party had only praise for my choice.

Fantasic Property !
Archipettoli is truly an outstanding Tuscan experience. We were five adults and stayed for one week.
The house is well maintained, well furnished and is a fully equipped household. The grounds around the house were also in top condition. The views from its hilltop location were stunning and beyond expectations.
The property is located only minutes west of the main highway between Florence and Siena and provided quick and easy access to both cities as well as the Chianti wine country.
We highly recommend Archipettoli for a Tuscan holiday and hope to return again ourselves in the future.
