We (5 adults, 2 children) had a wonderful stay at this villa, with the outdoor swimming pool and also the pool table particularly enjoyable. The house was equipped with all we needed for a comfortable stay and there were supermarkets within a 10 minute's drive. Vasco was a great host and available whenever we had any questions. I thoroughly recommend this villa for a stay in this beautiful part of Portugal.

We had a wonderful holiday in this spacious, rustic villa with a good sized swimming pool and garden set in a national park near to lovely beaches and plenty of opportunities for sightseeing. Owner Vasco is very helpful with information where to visit, less than an hour to Lisbon and there are beautiful views from the villa with lots of shady areas to enjoy sitting in. We really enjoyed our stay

We were an extended family of eight, ranging from 10 to 74 years old & everyone really enjoyed their stay in this spacious, well appointed villa. The pool was lovely & very popular with the young, & not so young. The views are remarkable on all directions & at all times of day from sunrise, over the mountains of Arrabida to sunset, over the Atlantic Ocean. The location is very rural but ideal for visiting the coast at Sesimbra & Setubal + various coves only minutes by car, as are excellent restaurants & lots of supermarkets. Wonderful opportunities for cycling, on & off road. Vasco is a very friendly, approachable & an excellent host. We were sad to leave & hope to return sometime in the future.

We had the great pleasure of staying in this villa for a week in July 2022. It has lots of space, a great pool and good amenities and is situated very privately and quiet. A 45 min drive from Lisbon airport , and a 15 min drive to Sesimbra and Setubal , both of which towns have good beaches , activities and restaurants. We will definitely consider booking this villa in the future. Special thanks to Vasco, the host/owner who made us feel very welcome!

We were delighted with the property which was perfect for our needs with 5 adults and a baby.. the location was perfect with fantastic views of the surrounding forests and hillsides. The facilities and amenities were excellent. We all lived the swimming pool, even the baby who could play safely in the courtyards, balconies and the garden surrounding the pool. We would definitely go back and highly recommend the place to others.

If you want to escape from the rat race this is the property for you. Comfortable and well appointed with an excellent decent length swimming pool, which encouraged me to get in and do a few lenghts each day. But note it is not heated so brace yourself. The views from the terrace are stupendous and the charming town of Azeitao is nearby (approx 5kms) with a good choice of restaurants, coffee shops and 3 supermarkets.
The villa is spacious and though some of the crockery needs updating (several cups and plates were chipped and a few beer glasses would have been appreciated) it has all the facilities you would expect including an outdoor BBQ, coffee machine and decent sized TV. WIFI is available also. There may be an issue with waste as there was a continuous unpleasant smell in the main bedroom and en suite which did linger, but keep the air con going in this room and the smell is masked.
Definitely would recommend it, especially due to its close proximity to Lisbon, Sesimbra and Setubal. If you do go make sure you spend an afternoon on Dolphin watch off Setubal. A very satisfying and charming trip when for a good half hour you have a very good chance to witness the local Dolphins swimming and playing in their natural habitat. Memorable.

We enjoyed the stay at this property very much. Even if the location is in a very quiet and rural area, the distance to Lisbon is no problem (appox 30-45 minutes drive – and hiring a car is an absolutely must). We was in Lisboa 4 days during our 2 weeks stay. Also relative short distance to the beaches at Sesimbra and the fantastic beaches at Lagoa de Albufeira. Also a nice village (Nogueira the Azeitao) in 3 km distance with several restaurants and covering all basic shopping needs. We also visited Sintra and Setubal during our stay – all places easily accessible by car.
The property is large, with some green lawns suitable for sports like badminton or volleyball. The pool is large enough and deep enough to do some actual swimming/exercise (maybe less suitable for small children). The house covered our needs, with all necessary equipment, 4 bedrooms with good size and good-working air-con, plenty of outdoor furniture, a outdoor grill for barbecue, and several nice places to relax and look at the beautiful views. We where 7 people staying, and it felt at no time over-crowded.
The owner of the place, Vasco, is both helpful, service minded, friendly and professional – and we had no problems at all in the practical arrangements regarding booking or during the stay.
This was our first visit to Portugal, and we really fell in love with the country, the climate and the Lisboa area. Definitely not out last visit to Portugal. And if city night life or walking distance to the beach is not your top priority, I will absolutely recommend you to stay and enjoy relaxing days in Vasco’s villa.

We were two families with a total of four adults and seven children (all under 7 years) staying in this villa for one week.
The service and hospitality from the owner (Vasco) was great from the minute we contacted him (last minute booking) all the way to our check-out. Vasco met us upon arrival and gave us a lot of good tips and ideas about the area, sights and attractions, running tracks etc.
As we were looking for a house "off the beaten track" this was perfect to us. It is located in a quiet villa area. You will need a car to get here and during your stay for shopping and sightseeing. The house has all the amenities we could ask for including a well equipped kitchen. The garden and area outside of the house is ideal also for kids and babies as the patio is fenced off from the pool area.
The sunsets on the balconies are stunning. Great area for running/walking in a variety of tracks and roads. Situated in the natural park Arrabida it is only a short drive 5-10 minutes to get to great beaches as well. We spent a couple of days on the beach, one day in Azeitao and Sesimbra and drove to Lisboa and the west coast so for us the house was a great base for reaching out to a variety of destinations and attractions. Always great to return to the house in this quiet area for a relaxing afternoon and evening with dinner and sunset outdoor.
I would not hesitate to reccommend this villa to anyone who prefer to stay away from the hectic touristy areas and want to experience the "real" Portugal and do not mind using the car to get to different attractions and sights.

The villa was really comfortable. It is a traditional Portuguese villa with all the necessary mod-cons to really relax and enjoy the holiday. The pool was great fun for both kids & adults and we really enjoyed having a game of pool in the games room in the evening. There are loads of areas outside where we could sit and relax and enjoy the stunning scenery, the fabulous local wine and the glorious sunset.
There are plenty of supermarkets within 5 or 10 km. The house was a great base for us to visit the local towns like Sesimbra & Setubal. Lisbon is less than an hour away and we also travelled to Sintra and Fatima.
Our flight arrived late & Vasco was very accommodating, waiting after midnight for us to arrive & coming to find us when we did get lost - thank you Vasco ?
We had a fantastic holiday in this villa and would recommend it to everyone!

Our family stayed at the villa for one week in june. We were surrounded by the great nature, Lisbon near by, nice beaches, restaurants etc.
The Arrabida parc is not only a beautiful place for a ride on your bike, it is also perfect for running.
The house has everything, the rooms are all nice. You can easily stay 2 families together - not crowded at all.
The owners are very nice people - and they help you with tips for trips to very special places you would not have found yourself. We valued that so much - Thank you :-)
The pool is very nice and the house has four lovely terraces placed all over the ground. You will always find a nice spot to eat your breakfast, find shade doing the day or enjoy the sunset at night.
You won't regret choosing this house !!!

Thanks Vasco for your welcome.

Means 30 minutes to my favorite capitol Lisboa, 10 to 15 min. to several gorgeous beaches. 10 min. to a huge supermarket. 16 hours of sunshine and great view all the time. You're situated on a hill in the middle of a national park and have mountain bikes and several other things which you can use to hang out. take this plus great people and a fantastic host than you've half of what your going to get by visiting Villa Arrábida.Vasco, thanks a lot for this unforgettable time and see you soon!

Myself and my friends had a fabulous holiday! The Villa was wonderful - it is very well equipped. Subsequently we had little desire to venture out but did enjoy Sesimbra with its gorgeous beach and lovely restaurants. We made the most of the what the Villa had to offer and the pool is super and the games room is ideal! The villa's location couldn't be better. It is very quiet, yet perfectly located for trips out to Sesimbra, Setubal, Lisbon and Sintra. There is a supermarche and Lidl conveniently nearby. The views from the villa are stunning and we enjoyed every evening relaxing from the many seating areas available. You're never without sun, yet there is always plenty of available shade when you need it. We received a warm and thoughtful welcome from Vasco (who very graciously rescued us when we got a bit lost!). We had a pleasant evening walk to Julio's cafe and enjoyed the "Porto" (Vasco I hope you get commission from all this 'Julios cafe' advertising ;-)I recommend this Villa!
