We had an amazing stay at this property. 3 families and we all had plenty of room to spread out, both inside and out. Nice outside spaces. Well equiped kitchen complete with spices and all kinds of pots and pans. Plenty of plates and utencils and a dishwasher! Big fridge and freezer. Comfy beds. Nice whirlpool bathtub. Fun pool with a slide that even our college kids enjoyed. Frys and Sprouts and Sweet Tomatoes nearby.

Everything about the home was as advertised and worked out well for our 2 1/2 month stay. We particularly enjoyed the well landscaped backyard, just sitting in the sun and reading! The only downside, and not anything to do with the owners, was the pack of dogs that resided next door and their nearly constant barking, especially in the overnight hours.

Lovely home, fully furnished, every room is spacious including bedrooms. Excellent communication with hosts. Submitted a list of items needed. At his request, we purchased them and was reimbursed. Home repairs were quickly attended to. Quiet neighborhood. Helpful having home outlined with lights making it easy to find at night after a long day's work. The oranges from the trees were juicy and delicious. We enjoyed our stay.

The owners made our arrivals and departures care free! The house was very welcoming and even had a cute Christmas tree for our use!
The orange tree produced perfect orange juice that we enjoyed every day! We would definitely rent this house again!

Well loved, comfortable coming home atmosphere. Doesnt feel like you're staying at an impersonal resort- more like with old friends you've known forever. We didn't realize all bathrooms required stairs - forgot to ask before we booked - had to change original plans for sleeping arrangements - a little flexibility and teamwork solved the issue and made for some extra fun. The yard is delightful- hosts patient and attentive. Neighborhood dogs dont know about the 10pm quiet rule - its something when the coyotes get them going. - & they are up out and barking again at 6am. Just like home.

The size of the property is great along with the backyard. We were all able to fit comfortably.
The place needs some TLC. There were spiderwebs on every piece of the patio furniture. The sheets had stains on them in multiple bedrooms. In the master bedroom the bed is extremely soft. Downstairs we found a cricket, cockroach, a giant hairball in the shower and a lizard.

Perfect location and home from which to stage the drop off of our twins at college. Hosts even let us have packages delivered to the home prior to our arrival from the east coast. The pool and hard were a game changer in terms of relaxation and an oasis from all the errands and emotions.

Absolutely beautiful property in the middle of everything. The backyard was very lit up so you were comfortable to set outside at night. The beautiful landscape and flowers brought a lot of birds which added to its beauty. We felt at home the moment we walked in and will absolutely book again!

Our family getaway consisted of 3 cousins and one mom/aunt ranging in age from 50s to 90. The house was rather “well-loved”, but comfy and spotless! We spent most of our time in the beautiful backyard enjoying the pool and patio. The neighborhood was a perfect jumping-off spot for Mt Lemmon, Sabino Canyon, and Saguaro East. We appreciated the generous array of sunscreens (and mints!) by the front door-that Arizona sun is brutal any time of the year. A couple of suggestions to make it even better-perhaps a few bottles of water to tide visitors over until they can go shopping, a small bottle of shampoo to go with the conditioner in the shower, and a pad of paper and pencils for folks who want to make use of the cards and games in the office area. Overall, we loved our time in Tucson and would definitely recommend this property to others.

We had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Everything worked fine. As a result, we had no reason to contact the owners. The house needs some basic repairs and it would be a great place for a family get-a-way. The holes in the walls really should be repaired.

Charming home with all the necessities. The place has nice scenery in a quiet neighborhood. The pool was just what we needed to cool off from a hot day. Wish we could’ve stayed longer in this cozy home!

I rented this for my nephews wedding so our family could be together in one place. It accommodated half of our group which was great. We really enjoyed the place and it met our needs.

Sad to say we made it one of our 5 nights and had to go to hotel. It was move in week to U of A and we traveled 2000 miles to find the house is really in need of some major attention. Unfortunately the pictures were well done but not at all accurate.
One .. The dryer is not drying so we had to take all the wet bedding and towels to college drop off. This process made us Concerned of how they clean the sheets without a heated dryer.
There were holes hidden by objects or garbage cans allowing outside critters in including a large rat , cockroaches and I am sure somewhat normal for the area but it was extreme.
The multiple cans of BED bug spray made us the most uncomfortable. We could not get this out of our head to sleep peacefully.
The dishwasher and disposal smelled of sulfur. The main living area was clean thankfully but not good enough to cover our other concerns.
The pool was clear and nice I believe it's in need of being sealed and likely contributing to the moisture issue including fake grass irrigation . We were eaten alive .

Relaxing, ,,,,very nice & clean - back yard & pool were wonderful, (pool guy showed up Saturday morning as promised), plenty of room for our group of six adults - only issues were the grill running out of gas a few minutes into cooking steaks, and the dishwasher needed a good cleaning,,,,would definitely recommend :)

Pool and BBQ
Beautiful house with all necessary amenities. The living room was spacious. The game room was fun and I had the downstairs lair all to myself. The instant hot water was great! Dishwashing was a breeze. Also there were plenty of TV’s. Watching lizards and one snake crawl across the lawn was a treat! I recommend David’s place. Great location!

Mixed review
Two couples stayed here. We were traveling Arizona in May from the Pacific Northwest and have family in Tucson . We have a mixed review of this home ..
pros: vintage home very cool. There was a carport so the car stayed cool. The back yard was really nice. We spent much of our time while at the home outside relaxing . The pool was clean. The refrigerator, kitchen generally and the bathrooms were clean. The furniture is older but appeared to be clean and it was comfortable . The air conditioner worked well. We needed it because it was 103 when we arrived . The neighborhood was very quiet and conveniently located with a Starbucks and groceries and restaurants nearby.
Cons: I am not happy to say these things … first of all upon entering the home, there is like a game room which was cool. First impression; It smelled musty. The house inside from that room was fine . In the pool area the furniture was dirty . Thick dust on the tables in that area and the furniture and there were cob webs in the corners on couch .. the sliding glass doors to the pool area was difficult to open because the railing hadn’t been cleaned in awhile.. the slider to the back yard area was fine . The dishwasher was really bad.. it had not been cleaned .. we used the dishwasher but it really didn’t get the dishes clean but spotted. The bedding was fine in the upstairs king room. The bedding in the downstairs room .. the sheets were clean, when my sister took the sheets off when we were preparing to leave the mattress pad was very stained . It did not leave a good impression for her ..
The owners were very nice and easy to work with and we were out of some supplies and they brought them within 24 hours. this house could be really nice because it’s cute and cool retro but it’s not as clean as I feel it could be. When part is not clean and part appears to be clean it doesn’t make you wonder how clean it really is .

Tucson Family Rental
The property is just as described. It is an older southwest style home which seems typical of the area. Dave sent the lockbox code early the day of check in. We had no problem accessing the property. Additionally, he was accommodating with providing an extra hour to check-out. The backyard space was large enough to host about 30 people in celebration of our Son's UofA graduation. There was a BBQ grill with plenty of propane for us to BBQ in the afternoons the 3 days we were there. We really enjoyed the pool. However, it did need a little cleaning and chemicals as the water was not clear. According to information provided the pool maintenance is done on Saturday but we didn't see the pool guy ever show up. We didn't want to wait or bother the host so we still used and enjoyed it as it was our last day, we had guests over, and it was over 100 degree weather. There were pool toys available for use which was really appreciated. We had plenty of linens including pool towels which was a nice surprise. We also had all the amenities you would find in a family home such as a big refrigerator, kitchenware, board games, and a chess/checkers table. Our only complain was the horrible wifi service but I am not sure if there's anything that can be done with that. If you plan to work remotely or need the internet you should have a hotspot. We couldn't enjoy the smart TV because it kept losing the connection. Otherwise, we are pleased with our experience and would definitely consider renting the property again.

served its purpose
Furniture in house a little worn, but the outside yard and pool were amazing. Pool slide didnt have water hooked up but still was usable. My kids their spouse and grand kids absolutely loved the pool.

Very positive experience
Older home in quite neighborhood. Exactly as described. Dave was a great host and provided extra tables and chairs for 16 adults for Thanksgiving. Kitchen was well stocked and cooking a traditional Thanksgiving for a large group was easy. Best of all the mattresses were comfortable. Thank you Dave for a nice weekend.

Over all nice place
The home was pretty big did not feel crowded. The only little issue we had was that there were 2 lights not working. One was fixed. The one not fixed was in the main livingroom. Seem kind of dark at night. We had a good time.

This property has the potential to be nice; however there were several major problems I wish we had known before our stay. Be prepared that it looks much nicer and larger in pictures than in actuality.Cons:1. There are video cameras EVERYWHERE on the property (we found 7, not sure how many we missed). Including 2 pointed directly towards the swimming pool. We found this completely inappropriate, especially since the property is listed for families with children. I DO NOT want my children videotaped in swimwear! This should be disclosed to potential renters. 2. Not safe for children. Stairs are steep and does not have a handrail. There are no floor mats anywhere and the floors are incredibly slippers with damp feet. 3. The back yard has dozens of lights on timers that cannot be turned off. It is blindingly light to the point where you can’t sleep in two of the bedrooms. This light pollution attracts moths and beetles all night long and in the morning the pool is filled with dead insects. 4. Homeowners must use incredibly toxic poisons because there were dead and dying bees, butterflies and lizards everywhere in the backyard during the day too. I did not want my kids playing in the backyard because of this. 5. Home needs renovations, there was a broken pool drain cover (our daughter fell in and injured her leg when accessing the diving board). Tiles falling off on the pool edge and on walkways, etc.6. House is in need of a deep clean, although the house was tidy; there was a thick layer of filth on blinds, plastic flowers, etc. 7. Very cheap polyester sheets overly scented. I wish I had brought my own cotton sheets. Pros:1. Pool was great!! Although not as big as it appears in the photos (approximately 25’ x 10’ and 8’ deep- give or take) the pool is the best feature of this property. It is full sun until about 2PM and then partial shade. In late July the temperature was perfect during the day but cool by dusk. The slide was fun! Pool toys provided were well utilized.2. Split design of the house with king bedroom upstairs and queen bedroom downstairs allows 2 couples to have a lot of privacy. 3. Neighborhood was quiet and fine to walk in. 4. Homeowner was accommodating for 30 extra minutes for a late checkout.Bottom line: not worth the price and cameras on pool are inappropriate.

The property was exactly as advertised - and contrary to some prior reviews, everything was very clean. There was a small problem with the A/C - we contact the host, and he had a technician there within the hour. The problem was resolved, and the unit worked wonderfully. The pool is wonderful, and the yard is a nice oasis in the desert. If I could change anything, I would wish that the jettub bathroom also had a shower, but I am nitpicking. There are so many nice spaces in this house - it is very well suited for a large group. We loved it and would gladly stay there again.
