About this house rental
The holiday home is located directly on the sea in a quiet location and is surrounded by a pretty garden. From the terrace you can enjoy a wonderful unobstructed sea view. All rooms (except kitchen and bathroom) have parquet flooring and are tastefully furnished. From the living room you have a magnificent view of the sea through a large sliding glass door. There are two newly renovated bathrooms, two bedrooms with double beds and one sleeping or TV room with a sofa bed. From the modern kitchen (incl. Dishwasher) one has also a splendid sea view. The island offers exceptional hiking trails with alpine tours, jungle experiences and breathtaking views. Almost all tours are described in detail in the Rother hiking guide. In about 5 min. Walking distance to the "Galo Resort - Hotel Galomar" with a excellent spa and sauna area. There is an extensive range of Ayurvedic treatments. There is also a beautifully landscaped rocky bay with swimming pool, a recommended restaurant with bar, as well as the diving school "Manta Diving" under langjaehriger German management. The "Galo Resort Hotel Galomar" includes the Alpino Atlantico Ayurveda Hotel, which also offers yoga. Also 5 min. by foot is the outdoor company Lokoloko (http://www.locolokomadeira.com/de/) with offers for mountain biking, canyoning, whale watching and swimming with dolphins, kayaking and much more. Bus stops, grocery stores and restaurants are also within a few minutes walk. We wanted to spend a couple of weeks to chill prior to Xmas and that is exactly what the villa, location and climate provided. Wonderful thank you.

The location is really great and so relaxed with the big terrace and seaview. The area is very quiet. Although you have to pay for the parking, we never had a parking problem and when you're away during the day and come back you just pay a little and automatically counts till the next morning. The house isn't big, but big enough as you mostly stay on the terrace. Kitchen had all you needed. Beds were very good. The contact with the host was very good, after mentioning something, we directly got a reply and was solved. 2 Good restaurants down the street at the hotels. Close to the airport and to Funchal. And a good stay to explore the whole beautiful island. We really enjoyed everything.

We had a perfect stay in Canico. We've visited the area before and know it well, but never stayed in this lovely house - the position in Canico is perfect - close to the lido and restaurants - and the house deck overlooking the sea offers a fabulous view - hard to match.

My husband and I took our two boys, ages 5 and 7 for two weeks. The house was perfect for our family. We couldn’t get over the view on the deck-it is much more beautiful in person. The beds were very comfortable, we found everything really clean and someone even thoughtfully left gorgeous flowers in a vase for us upon arrival. We did find out the hard way that the parking on the street is metered and you will need to pay, so keep that in mind. All in all though, we would stay here again, we felt very thankful to have chosen this home for our family vacation!

The sea view is picture perfect and the decking makes the property. It’s the perfect place to relax, enjoy good food in the many local restaurants and to explore beautiful Madeira. Handy bus route to Funchal on the express or you can take a more scenic route. Clean & comfortable accommodation - would definitely recommend.

Marianne has an absolutely wonderful home. The pictures don't do justice to the view, yard and indoor accommodations. Everything is in excellent condition. Baths and kitchen are very functional and neat. Gorgeous yard and deck with plenty of space for lazy days along the sea.
All communication with Marianne was timely, pleasant and informative. We had zero problems planning the trip and no need to reach out during our stay.
In short, a 100% recommendation. Do yourself a favor and book this place for your next visit to lovely Madeira!

This property is stunning. The view is so amazing we wanted to spend everyday on the deck. There are many restaurants in the immediate area. The bus stop is close with two options - a scenic trip to Funchal or and express route depending on your needs. The beds were very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would return!

Dieses attraktive Objekt kann nur weiterempfohlen werden. Wohnraum, Küche und Bäder sind in gutem Zustand. Lediglich die Schlafzimmer fallen im Gesamtkonzept gesehen etwas ab. Das non plus ultra ist die Terrasse, einfach hervorragend.

Heerlijk verblijf met uitzicht op oceaan
Hoewel het een wat oudere woning is, voldeed het aan de beschrijving en aan onze verwachtingen. Goede mailcommunicatie met de eigenaar. De woning ligt aan een rustige straat, zonder parkeerproblemen. Er zijn restaurants op loopafstand. Wel hebben we twee verbetersuggesties: de terrasstoelen zijn helaas van plastic en twee van de matrassen zijn aan vervanging toe, die zijn doorgelegen. Het deed niets af aan ons verblijf!

Sehr schön gelegenes Ferienhaus mit tollem Ausblick
Wir haben uns in diesem Haus sehr wohl und wie zu Hause gefühlt. Es liegt sehr ruhig mit Blick auf das Meer und von hier kann man mit dem Auto viele sehenswerte Orte zügig erreichen. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht und zur Begrüßung stand sogar ein toller Blumenstrauß auf dem Tisch. Mehrere Restaurants in fußläufiger Nähe tragen ebenfalls zu einem gelungenen Urlaub bei. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen und hier wohnen. Vielen Dank!

Schöne Wohnung! Ruhige Lage – aber alles Nötige bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen
Das Haus entspricht der Beschreibung, die Ausstattung stimmt (Nur die Betten entsprechen u. U. nicht deutschen Erwartungen). Die Terrasse ist ein Traum – noch schöner als auf den Bildern!!! Man will aber trotzdem irgendwann raus, und dann sind kleine Supermärkte, Bäckerei etc. bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen – sowie etliche gute Restaurants. Parken vor dem Haus war nie ein Problem (Wir waren 2 Wochen im März dort). Die (vom Haus aus unhörbare) Autobahn ist nur 2-3 Autominuten entfernt, dann erreicht man Funchal oder den Flughafen in jeweils 15 Minuten. Kommunikation mit Eigentümer und Verwaltung vor Ort war freundlich und effizient. Fazit: Klare Empfehlung!

Just perfect!
Top Lage in Canico Baixo mit einer sensationellen Terrasse zum Meer. Das Haus ist gut eingerichtet und auch die Küchenausstattung ist gut. Einchecken geht unproblematisch und der Kontakt zum Vermieter sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Eine 1a Empfehlung - Erholung garantiert.

Durchschnittliches Domizil
Das Beste an der Wohnung ist die Terrasse mit offenem Blick auf das Meer. Die angenehme Ruhe wurde nur nachts durch die vobei führende Straße etwas gestört. Die Küche, Bäder, Wlan, Fernseher alles funktionierte einwandfrei. Die Betten sind grenzwertig überzogen. Unter dem Wohnzimmertisch hing ein gebrauchtes schmutziges Handtuch verdeckt durch ein darüber hängendes Tischtuch. Im Kühlschrank befanden sich angebrochene Lebensmittel und Gemüse. Trotz vorhandener Moskitonetze war die Mückenplage nervig. Ein Parkplatz war oft nur entfernt zu finden. Der Pflasterweg zum Haus bedarf der Befestigung.

Great location with enough space for a small family
Great quiet location with a fresh water swimming pool and restaurant on the same block. In general a very well thought out holiday home with a wonderful view from the well designed small kitchen. The bedrooms are basic but have good storage and the larger bathroom is clean and very functional. The house has everything you need for a home away from home but then one with a wonderful unobstructed view of the ocean.

Très belle vue, magnifique terrasse.
Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine. La location est calme, les nombreux restaurants sont à moins de 5mn à pied. Il serait bien d'ajouter un micro-onde et une table extérieure un peu plus grande. Pour information le parking n'est pas privé, mais dans la rue. Plage aménagée à 3mn en voiture.

The house location and surroundings are absolutely fabulous - house is located on a cliff, with uninterrupted south-facing panorama of Atlantic Ocean, you can hear the sound of waves breaking 20m below, very little noise from a quiet road above, and not much else - there are just two neighbouring villas, everything surrounded by a garden providing almost full privacy. House is very clean and well-maintained, kitchen is somewhat on a small size so if you plan a lot of cooking it may be a bit problematic. On the other hand - there are plenty of restaurants, supermarkets, bakery etc around so it's pretty easy to focus on pure relaxation. Owners are very helpful and easy to communicate with, overall: a great find and I hope to come back some day.

Familienurlaub Sommer 2019
Wir waren mit unseren drei Mädels (19,15,13) Gast im Haus von Max Bracht. Wir haben die Wohnung um die Terrasse und den Garten mit unverbautem Blick auf den Atlantik erweitert. Das ist schon super! Die Einrichtung der Schlafzimmer und des Wohnzimmers ist funktionell und etwas "spröde". Badezimmer und Küche tippitoppi. Der Fernseher -wer ihn braucht - befindet sich im kleinen Schlafzimmer. Wir hatten die Kiste nicht an. W-Lan Verbindung stabil! Das Nachbargrundstück soll oder war mal ein Baugrundstück und liegt brach. Versorgungsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe vorhanden. Das Madeira keine Badeinsel ist, dürfte hinlänglich bekannt sein. Wenn wir in Canico waren, sind wir beim Hotel Galomar um die Ecke (gegen Gebühr) in den Atlantik gehüpft (dort auch Tauschschule Manta Diving). Adäquate Plätze zum Chillen sowie Toiletten und Restauration vorhanden.

Jedes Jahr überwintern wir auf Madeira ,
In dem schönen Haus der Fam.Bracht,
direkt am Atlantik. Es ist immer wieder ein Nachhause kommen.Was wir brauchen ist vorhanden.Wir geniessen
die Ruhe und die Wärme ,die wir in Deutschland um diese Zeit nicht haben.
Freuen uns jetzt schon auf auf 2020,
wenn es dann wieder los geht.

Gemütliches Haus mit tollem Meerblick
Wir verbrachten zwei wundervolle Wochen auf Madeira! Gleich bei unserer Ankunft waren wir begeistert von dem liebevollen eingerichteten Haus. Vor allem die direkte Lage am Meer haben wir genossen! Hier konnten wir auch gerne einen Tag "zu Hause" genießen. Nette Restaurants ganz in der Nähe, sowohl Bushaltestelle nach Funchal .
Da wir einen Leihwagen hatten, konnten wir viele Wanderziele und Ortschaften gut erreichen. Liebe Familie Bracht! Vielen Dank das Sie uns diesen schönen Aufenthalt ermöglicht haben. Wenn wir wieder nach Madeira kommen sollten, würden wir dieses Haus wieder mieten!

Geräumiges und schönes Ferienhaus in traumhafter Lage
Ich war mit meiner Frau eine Woche in diesem Ferienhaus. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen.
Hervor zu heben ist die direkte Lage am Meer mit einer tollen Aussicht.
Die Wohnung ist wirklich mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Das WLAN hat eine megamäßige Übertragungsgeschwindigkeit. Ebenso empfängt man über TV alle deutschen TV- Programme, sogar die regionalen Anbieter in bester Qualität.
Wir hatten uns ein Auto gemietet, mit dem man schnell den Flughafen (15 Minuten) sowie die anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten erreichen kann. In der Nähe der Wohnung gibt es mehrere Möglichkeiten zum Einkaufen sowie einige Restaurants. Alles in allem ein unvergesslicher Urlaub. Der Vermieter ist nett und man kann ihn telefonisch erreichen. Die Wohnung kann man nur weiter empfehlen.

Fantastisch
Het was een super huisje. Alles was er voorzien. Zelfs een lederen salon. Veel linnengoed voorzien. Heel mooi uitzicht op de oceaan. Misschien een tip voor de eigenaar het terras betegelen waar nu gras/grond is. En dan zou het nog een meerwaarde hebben. Wij hebben alvast genoten van ons verblijf.

La Terrasse /jardin donne sur la mer 😃�(repos après les randonnée squi ne sont pas loin (pour ce côté de l'île)
