Great set up for family and great location for visiting Yellowstone and surrounding area.

The cabin was clean spacious and well supplied. We had our whole family (17) there to stay for 5 days between Christmas and New Year's. It is a beautiful property in a picturesque setting. We were hoping for a little more snow to make the snowmobiling a little funner, but it still worked out.

We had a great time here! Our party of 24 was comfortably housed, with lots of room for conversations, cousin time, and even a talent show on the spacious deck. My only concern was that there was furniture close enough to the upstairs balcony rail that our toddlers who don’t know better could easily climb up and fall over the rail. We alleviated our fears by simply keeping the tiny tots downstairs during playtime, and by pulling the bed and table away from the rail (just in case…). Outland Meadows Lodge was a win for our large family group!

Loved the cabin. We stayed here for an large family vacation. There were about 20 of us. Anytime I had a question for the host (Sheryl) responded promptly. It is a little off the beaten path but still beautiful. There is a large horse ranch close by that offers horseback riding. We all did it and it was fun. We spent a day in yellowstone which is about 50 minutes away. If you want to go tubing/rafting Macs inn is about 15 mins away. There are also plenty of hiking trails around.
There was a Moose and her calf that would hang out close to the cabin. We saw her about 4-5 different times. (usually in the morning or evening)
No complaints here. It was fun!

Great location, big cabin for our family.

Things went well until I tried to pay second half and the only time that someone could help was after midnight the night before it was due. I lost that contact but the next day info showed up in my email box which allowed me to complete the process. The contact/property manager was excellent to work with and very helpful. Great cabin, awesome stay which made memories for a lifetime.

The house was just right for our party of 28. We also booked the small guest house. Plenty or room, fairly close to Yellowstone, lakes, shopping.

Sheryl is a fantastic host! She was wonderful at communicating from the very beginning when we first booked it. We booked this cabin for a family reunion. We were also able to book the private two bedroom cabin right next to it for the grandparents to stay in. That was a very nice arrangement! Sheryl looked into every question I asked, including if she knew where any good day-use spots would be where we could play in the water. Although she didn't know off-hand she looked into it and got back to me in a matter of days. I am impressed with how she took care to look into the details to ensure we had a great stay.
As a side note, the place she recommended and that we ultimately went to was: Lakeside Lodge Resort. Our group loved playing on their shore with their day use pass, which included access to their bounce houses, play set and water trampolines. The kids loved it! It was a great lake day!
Unfortunately, this area is experiencing a large volume of what the Yellowstone Rangers called, "Buffalo Gnats". In Yellowstone they informed us that there was an inordinate amount of them, and that the female gnats would bite at the hairline. So due to things outside of the hosts control, this cabin unfortunately has them and has them bad. From what we could tell, they were in the drains. More and more would come out of the drains as the day progressed. We talked with a few people in the area and multiple cabins are experiencing this problem.
We messaged Sheryl about them and she came after the first night with bleach and bleached the drains. By the second night, our kids were getting bit and she came the next day and cleaned out every drain, in an effort to address the gnats. Unfortunately, it will probably need much more attention to fully eradicate this gnat infestation. Sheryl left the second day and gave us instructions to contact her if the gnats persisted, and while they did, the adults also came down with a 24 stomach flu... and we kind of just dealt with the gnats.
Without the gnats, this cabin/lodge is amazing! It totally fits all of our needs and can host a large family gathering. With the gnats, it made coming home to relax difficult. We would constantly have gnats in our faces in the evenings. Ultimately, from what I've been told, there is an unusual amount this year, but if bugs are an issue for you (as they were for some people in our party) there are a lot and you might consider a tent as there are no drains for the gnats to live in.

Nice Lodge for Families
We stayed the 1st week of July. Everything was great for an epic vacation. We wish we could have stayed longer. The Lodge was clean and comfortable and had lots of amenities. There are deer and moose in the area. The host was responsive and polite to our questions/concerns. I would highly recommend this property.

Enjoyed the quiet and peaceful area.
Enjoyed the cabin except for the major nat problem. Need pest strips to mitigate some of it. It would be nice to have blinds on all the bedroom windows and screens replaced that weren’t there for needed airflow for the warm days. Larger or another full refrigerator would be really helpful for a cabin that sleeps 25. Some of the mattresses need to be replaced. Overall having so many bathrooms and then sinks in the bedrooms was great. The layout was wonderful and the property was beautiful and well kept. Loved the extensive decking and all the rockers.

Lovely stay. Lots to do in the area. Abundant wildlife.
Great hiking.
Only disappointment was that none of the upstairs bedroom windows had blinds.
Sun beat in early in the morning.

Excellent visit, especially during Yellowstone flood
Since we were there during the flood disaster we can say how well the property handled our group of 18. We were there for 3 days of rain and snow. We then ventured out to Yellowstone Park. The Park Rangers were so great at stopping visitors from coming in. Their quick actions helped save people. So we ventured out to Mesa Falls, ID and then the next day to Grand Tetons and Jackson Hole. Then we went to Big Sky MT. There was a lot to do, camping overnight at Grand Tetons, with reservations.
There was one area to our cabin that flooded but the crews were there to fix the pipe line that was handling the water run off. They detoured us to our road and all was well.. No other flooding problems to our cabin. We had lots of groceries. No problems with shortages of any kind We didn't even get in each others way. The house handled us well. Laundry and cooking was smooth. I really believe the house was setup for our group Thank you for our pleasant stay.

Enjoyed our stay! The deck and the large windows provide a beautiful place to view the scenery! We had 23 people in our group so every bed was used and every inch of the cabin was used! A great family get a way!

Famly
The kids found items under the beds from the previous tenets (underwear). The description says high speed internet but it was really slow, especially at night. We had one person who needed to study for school so slow internet made it very difficult. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and had plenty of room for all of us.

Our Yellowstone trip made fantastic
We all friends have enjoyed staying here at this property, this house is so perfect and comfortable to spend holidays here.
House has almost everything you need.
We got "home away from home" feeling.

Good location
Great central location for all that we did in the area. Internet was slow and the washers and dryers took forever when we washed the towels, but the rest of the place is fantastic.

Perfect for our large family get-away
We absolutely loved staying at this cabin. We had 18 family members ranging from baby to grandparents. The second story porch with its view of a peaceful meadow was one of the major highlights. We also enjoyed being able to play Frisbee etc. in the large open area in front of the cabin. The bedrooms worked out well for us. The top floor has two bedrooms plus an open loft area with beds, and one bathroom. The middle (main) floor has two bedrooms , one bathroom, the kitchen and the living room. The bottom floor has two bedrooms, a bathroom, a small living room, laundry room and a room with a pool table in it. We loved that we had room to spread out. Sheryl was very helpful when we needed anything. We highly recommend this beautiful place.

Great location. Worked well for our family reunion with lots of small children!

Enjoyable stay
The lodge was perfect for what we were looking for. Easy access to Yellowstone and restaurants in West Yellowstone.
The internet went out while we were there. No fault of the owner but, no internet made for a more enjoyable time with the grandkids.

What a home!
Our family spent 4 nights/5 days in this home celebrating my Dad's birthday and had an amazing time! We had 21 people staying at the home together, and had more than enough space, hot water, linens, etc.!
A very easy drive to the west Yellowstone, but we also saw moose near the home, and heard wolves while sitting on the deck.
It was also a pleasure meeting the homeowner who came to check on our internet since they had recently changed providers.
If I was forced to pick one thing I would change, it would be an addition of another fridge. Even with a large fridge, and a small deck fridge, we were still lacking a little space and needed to use a few coolers.

Great time, great location, great weather, nice accommodations.
Items of note for owner; only found one roll paper towels. Ran out day 1 of 3. 1 room listed with 2 queens had 1 queen and 2 singles. A hose for the outside water faucet would be a great accessory for summer use.

Beautiful Cabin
Gorgeous cabin with the perfect layout for our large family. We loved the location and it was so quiet and peaceful. There were some issues with the cleanliness of the cabin but all in all, can’t wait to go back.

Awesome home with easy access to Yellowstone
6 bed rooms and a loft were perfect for the 17 of us that were there. The deck was fantastic to set out on in the evenings. Deer wondered out in the fields. Will look at this again when we want to go to Yellowstone (45 min drive). Owner is very friendly and helpful.

Family gathering for a large group
The house was very comfortable for our large group. The only down side was the hot water heater couldn’t keep with the showers for this many people. I would definitely recommend this place and stay again

Great place for a family vacation
The space was excellent, the layout was perfect for our large group and we loved the location. The Lennon's could lose a little attention in two of the rooms they were on inside out which gave us some concerns and they didn't really fit the king size bed also it would be nice if there was an extra roll of toilet paper in the 5 bathrooms, all in all we really enjoyed our time there.
