Cosy, clean and very comfortable. Great location and was very quiet and peaceful. The wood fire was fantastic as it was very cold and raining. Will definitely stay here again.

Everything was good. Would have been handy to know about the tv issue before we got there. We may have taken an Apple TV with us had we known. Not the end of the world though.

Had a very enjoyable weekend away.
Cute Cottage, convenient location and with all the necessities required

Not far from Tanunda or any of the Barossa towns. Lovely quiet road with bush and the Heysen Trail opposite, and lots of historic buildings to discover. Comfortable with more than enough space to find a quiet corner and read a book or finish a puzzle.

Quiet place, well kept, pleasant outdoor. Springtime with plenty of flowers and birds presence.
I think a WI-FI connection should have been provided.

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage.
The highlight was walking up in the mornings to the magnificent dawn chorus from the garden and Bethany Reserve. Can't wait to go back.
Thank You

This was a great place to stay, quiet, cute and a little quirky. We loved it. Wifi would be great as phone reception isn't very good there.

Was a lovely stay at Bethany Cottage, the cottage looks small but can comfortably cater for a couple or a family of up to 5. I actually loved the fact that there was no wifi, it was the first time in a long while that I was able to really rest without the distractions of the internet. You just get drawn into admiring the historic character of the home and the surroundings. The owners have left some books of the history of the area, which we enjoyed reading in the evenings; you get a real feel for how such an iconic part of the state developed. The rooms are beautifully set out and spacious, with comfortable and fresh linen. It was cold when we stayed there, so the fireplace added much warmth to the evenings making the home feel cosy and secluded. The amenities were also excellent, and there is a nice picnic and BBQ spot right across from the home, which I think would be nice for families. Good price and well worth the stay, would definitely return and highly recommend.

The perfect place to kick off from each morning and to come back to for relaxing evenings. Close to everything we wanted, including Angaston where we took part in a cooking school, the wineries in the area, even had a game of mini golf at Tanunda. Great fun

The generosity of the space in the cottage and grounds was very much appreciated after being on the road in sometimes cramped lodgings. The open fire was wonderful on the cold nights we were there.

Great quiet little cottage to base yourself in for a Barossa weekend. Very clean and cosy, comfy beds and lovely surrounds. Near a park and reserve. Close access to wineries, restaurants etc in Barossa. Owner is lovely to converse with.

Such a beautiful place to stay! Peaceful and quiet and a great get away for a relaxing time away. Close to the main street of tunanda but also far enough away from it too to avoid business.

We loved the cottage. The bed and couches were comfy. The bath was deep and the water was hot. Kitchen had everything. The garden and surrounds were beautiful. We sat on the front and back porches, sipping lovely Barossa wine, watching the birds and feeling very relaxed. It's a good location to explore the area from. Nothing is far away. Highly recommended.

This cottage was very well maintained and very peaceful. Lovely stay, enjoyed sitting on the verandah listening to the birds in the afternoon (and next door neighbours chooks). Beds were very comfortable. Even though we were warned after booking that the television reception was patchy, we had nothing at all. We are not big TV watchers but do like to watch the news. Thanks for letting us use your lovely cottage. We will be back.

A very peaceful stay at Bethany Reserve Cottage on the fringe of Tanunda. Bethany Road has its own historic walk and Bethany Wines is worth the visit for both the wine and the views. The cottage is the perfect place to rest after a day of food and wine.

Cute little cottage. Had everything we needed and extremely well stocked with extra towels, linen and toilet paper, which is very pleasing. An extremely relaxing and comfortable stay. Perfect location to access the Barossa Valley highlights.

It was such a wonderful gift to have enjoyed this steller's cottage. So many treasures, the wonderful wood heater, the amenities, the beautiful trees and understory flowers in the reserve opposite, the garden, and the proximity to all of the delights of the Barossa. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Lovely little cottage. Perfect location in the Bethany area of the Barossa. The house was clean and had mostly everything we needed. Here are my criticisms:
1. The old part of the house feels a little spooky. Not necessarily everyone's cup of tea if you expect a modern interior.
2. The distance between bedrooms and bathroom/toilet is not ideal. You have to walk from one end of the cottage to another to use the amenities.
3. No firelighters were provided by the owner. I have stayed in a lot of cottages with fireplaces and firelighters have always been provided. The lack of firelighters was a real inconvenience.

My friends and I stayed at this beautiful cottage and we absolutely loved it! It was perfect for our quiet weekend away to explore the Barossa. The small finishing touches made the place very welcoming and we absolutely loved the fireplace. We will definitely be staying here again :)
