This property had really good energy! I always worry about renting any property. Yes, I see things. No, but really, my family and I really liked this house. It was so conveniently located to everywhere we wanted to go. Our dogs really liked the spacious back yard. The house was clean, The oven wasn't working, but we weren't going to bake a cake either, (a note was left notifying us about that issue) so that was okay with us. The internet was very spotty, but that just gave us more reason to spend quality time, as a family. It was a very cosy house. Thank you, Kathy for letting us stay here. We look forward to coming back. Hopefully, next year.

On the way to Nogales. Nice clean house with a queen, double and single bed, three bedroom house. Only one bathroom which made it hard for Three girls to get ready for a wedding. Nice area and beautiful back yard completely fenced. Wish we had our dogs with us. Neighbor has barkers next door but they were quiet at 10 pm.

This house was perfect for three of us to enjoy three weeks in the Sky Island area of Southeastern Arizona. The house was clean and felt spacious. The furniture was in excellent condition and the kitchen was equipped for basic cooking. Our dog was very happy with the large fenced yard and we enjoyed the covered patio. The car port was nice because we experienced a couple of nights with frost and woke up one morning to 5 inches of snow (a once in a lifetime event here).
When we arrived we noticed there was no shampoo, or food storage containers and some of the no-stick pans were badly scratched. While this was not a concern for us (because a nice cast iron pan was available) I notified our hostess (Kathy) and she quickly provided replacement pans, food storage containers and shampoo. We really enjoyed our stay at this VRBO and would highly recommend it to others.
We were centrally located between Tuscon, Sierra Vista and Nogales, ideal for day trips to parks and monuments throughout the area. We enjoyed hiking several of the numerous hiking trails in the area and visiting places like the Mt Lemmon, Sagauro National Park, Tombstone, Bisbee, Nogales, Naco, many canyons and several ghost towns. The wildflowers in Picacho Peak State Park were amazing during March. Chiricahua National Monument was awesome and we enjoyed hiking 4.5 miles from the Echo Canyon trailhead to the visitor center. Walking around this small town with it’s many trails was very also convenient and enjoyable, and we frequently were entertained by Javelinas.
But nothing is ever perfect. The VRBO listing stated many items would be available to include shampoo, basic soaps and toilet paper. While the shampoo was not in the house upon arrival a 3 oz bottle was quickly provided (3 oz for 3 people for 3 weeks?). Basic soaps did not include laundry detergent and the shower soap was two tiny bars like those provided in discount motels. Unfortunately my wife had an intestinal bug when we arrived and went through a lot of toilet paper. The quantity provided was limited to 2 rolls per week. Needleess to say we had to buy toilet paper, shampoo, laundry detergent and shower soap.
Furthermore the VRBO listing said a dishwasher, ironing board and DVD player were available but they were not. The icemaker did not work. There were only a few pantry items: mostly seldom used spices like ginger, cloves and bagel everything, about 1/3 cup of rice and the same amount of flour. Ma

Would have been great if not for all the dog hair on the couch, could not sit on couch without getting hair all over our clothes. Ended up just using dinning chairs and a lot of Beneydryl because of allergies to pet hair. Loud neighbors next door. Not many places to eat after 4pm if any. Patagonia lake was nice, town not so much.

We visited during July so it was pretty hot but cooler than Tucson. The house was in a great location, walking distance to town. My dogs thoroughly enjoyed exploring the yard!
Grass was green, nice back porch to hang out during the rain. It rained lightly several afternoons which was welcome. This part of Arizona is so beautiful! The Paton Hummingbird Center and Patagonia-Sonoita Creek Preserve were so restorative and peaceful. We checked out the Hops and Vine winery which is fun. Dinner in Sonora at the Steak Out was amazing!!

Great location
Was great little place, comfortable, close to everything in town, and fenced yard for our pup. Was a bit disappointed that the pics showed nice green grass in the backyard but was completely dead/dry. All in all, was a great stay.

A Quiet Respite
Very nice house, big yard, quiet neighborhood. Full kitchen a plus. A sweet place to unwind. And just a few minutes drive from the Paton Center for Hummingbirds, a real treat.

Very nice older home
Pleasantly surprised how well supplied the property was. It was very comfortable.
I had a hot water leak in the bathtub that I hope it get fixed soon because it is wasting a lot of water and energy.
I would recommend it and would stay again if in the area.

Cozy Casa Right Near Town's Center
Very clean property with lots of space and a great big, fenced in yard with views. The house was well stocked, great location and had great accents of the area around the house. Within in walking distance of the town's center. I would definitely come back!

Great last minute getaway!
I made a last minute decision to join friends who where staying at the lake and I was able to book this the day before. House was clean, beds were very comfy and house had everything you could need. I wanted to stay an extra day and that was not a problem at all. The backyard was great my dog had the time of his life running around a large grass filled yard. I will definitely stay here again!!

Amazing house with a great view and a fully fenced dig friendly yard!
We all loved the house. We stayed 5 nights. The location of the house is excellent. It’s short walking distance to the best breakfast joint in the town Gathering Grounds. House was spotless. Kitchen had all we needed to cook delicious meals. The view from the backyard is outstanding. It has a fully secured fenced backyard so our two puppies enjoyed their freedom. At night we enjoyed wood fire pit. We will be coming back!

Pandemic Peace in Patagonia!
Kathy’s home was a wonderful vacation spot and property for our family of 3 and our pets during the pandemic! Her home was safe, cozy, inviting, well supplied with all basic needs, and had a securely fenced yard for our dogs.
Kathy’s directions to the home and entry were very clear and easy to follow. Having a pet friendly home in a safe neighborhood was a huge relief to us since bringing our dogs was the lynch pin to our ability to travel last weekend.
Patagonia is a beautiful, small, highly walkable community in the hills of southern Arizona with loads of trails and outdoor opportunities. All of the local businesses maintained strict Covid safety protocols. In the Sonoita/Elgin area, just a few miles north of Patagonia, are a handful of vineyards which produce some mighty fine wines! Lake Patagonia is a brief drive south from town is a beautiful place to fish or hike trails around.
We had a lovely, relaxing, and pandemic-safe time and we look forward to staying with Kathy again!

Comfortable home in a cute town
We went to Patagonia to enjoy the lake, but enjoyed the quiet peacefulness of the town. When we weren’t fishing we enjoyed our family time at the house. The house had everything! We especially enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. We went down the street to Patagonia Market and bought chorizo and tortillas that came from Mexico. It was delicious! The host also left interesting books about birds, cowboy poetry, and a fun board game we played as a family. My favorite was sitting in the backyard watching my dog run around in the yard while drinking coffee. Coming from the Phoenix area, we enjoyed this getaway.

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! The house was just perfect for me, my husband, and our dog. Rodeo Weekend
We were not sure about competing in this rodeo because of the limited amount of places to have the whole family stay. But Kathy's home was perfect! It was a short drive to Sonoita, Patagonia Lake and Nogales. So while half the family competed, the other half enjoyed the lake and shopping in Nogales.
We are excited to return for more fun later in the year!
