About this house rental
Beachside accommodation at its best is provided for you at Mamorhomy. Clean, tidy and fresh, this four-bedroom property will accommodate up to ten people who are looking to relax and spend their days soaking in the sun.
Accommodation consists of two queen bedrooms with an ensuite, bedroom 3 has 2 single beds and bedroom 4 has 2 single bunk beds, which are great for the children. There is a separate main bathroom which includes a large bath, perfect for relaxing after a day in the sun.
Please note that the property is a downstairs apartment. There are two living areas in the property, each with a TV and the kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher and microwave. The dining room is next to the kitchen and flows out to the entertaining area, which overlooks the crystal blue waters of Jervis Bay. For your entertainment, there are two TVs and two Blu-ray DVD players, and a pool table. WiFi is also provided at the property.
Outside there is a tree swing for the children (please note Cubby House is not in use). Bike and fishing rods are also provided for guests to use.

The property is NOT fully fenced, so please supervise your pets during your stay for their safety.
Wi-fi is offered as a complimentary extra. As there is no charge issues will be dealt with asap but cannot be guaranteed.
To ensure the comfort of our guests and the neighbours, we do not accept bookings for "Schoolies" breaks/under 21yrs groups and under no circumstances do we allow weddings or parties of any sort.

If you or any other guest receives a warning regarding excess noise or excess guests, you may be asked to leave the property immediately with no refund of monies. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited.
This property is approved for accommodation only. No mattresses, tents, caravans or more cars than the property accommodates are allowed. Under no circumstances are the following activities permitted at any of our properties: motorbikes, dirt bikes, quad bikes, use of firearms or air rifles, fireworks.
Our standard check-in time is 4 pm and check out time is 10 am. We can offer you a complimentary early check-in or late check out time as a gesture of goodwill where booking and housekeeping schedules allow. Please call our team to request this prior to your arrival. Please note that due to demand and housekeeping pressures, no early check ins or late check outs will be granted during the months of December and January. The safest way to secure a later check out or early check in is to book the property for an extra night, please contact us to see if we can offer a special rate for this extra night. Please note that Sunday late check outs must be requested and approved prior to 5 pm on the Friday evening of that week.
Out of peak season stays of a week or more may qualify for a discount, please send us a message.

The experience I would give overall a 9/10 for a 5 day stay at the beautiful beach house was perfect for our group of people.
We enjoyed everything about the property, from the first moment walking in.
The overall house was clean and everything equipped from entertaining children to adults.

Great family house on beautiful beach
Location is amazing...if you want to be on one of NSW's best beaches, this is everything you need. House is quite OK, certainly for a family get away! We had a great time!

Not Happy Jan.
The place was very dirty. Cob webs on all of the windows and dead insects all over the kitchen window and around the tiled floors. Dusty pantry, and the backyard floor was pretty dirty where we had to hose it down ourselves. Overall cleanliness of the property was pretty poor.
There were no locks on 3 out of 4 bathroom doors, so you had to shower and go to the toilet at your own risk.
There was no hot water at critical times. I think the hot water tank was connected to the off peak meter. There were 12 of us there and we couldn’t enjoy a hot shower after having a swim at the beach.
The spa didn’t work and the fridge temperature was also very weak not cooling our food properly.
We were pretty disappointed with this property.

Disappointing 2 night stay
1. The hot water wasn’t working which meant that we couldn’t take a shower or use the jacuzzi bath facility. With the weather being windy and cold (which we knew) we wanted to use the hot jacuzzi since we couldn’t go to the beach. They boys came back from golf around lunch time 1pm on Saturday and couldn’t shower straight away. We allowed to use the upstairs bathroom (7pm) as a final solution but it was only towards the end of the night when it was too late to do anything or go anywhere after.
2. We noticed that the cubby house was broken and this would've been extremely dangerous for a child to use. The bikes provided in the garage had flat tyres so we could not utilise this facility.
3. There were bugs everywhere. Cobwebs, mosquitoes, cockroaches, dead bugs. It was like the house wasn’t properly vacuumed as it was also very dusty and a few of our guests struggled to sleep due to dust allergies.
4. Sheets were provided but after we found a bug on one of the beds… we felt uncomfortable using any of the sheets provided and therefore used our own (those of us that had brought along sheets).
5. The pots and pans weren’t in usable condition. They looked really run down, unclean and definitely needed replacing. Didn’t really look clean either as some had cobwebs at the back.
6. From looking at the photos – the property looks much bigger as photos seem too enlarged and deceiving. The defects in the couches were hidden with the pillows (the back lounge near the entrance). The swing outside (in the backyard) had cobwebs and the chain was rusted, so we were too scared to sit on it, in case it broke.
7. There was an iron but no ironing board so we had to iron our clothes on the bed.
8. There were blood stains on the couches in the main lounge. which was very disturbing.
Finally, wanted to mention how we were looking forward to a relaxing weekend away as it has been a stressful few months for all of us. We were not happy with our stay, the only positive thing about the property was the views from the backyard to the beach (which was partly covered by this huge ugly shed --Not pictured), the rest of it was disappointing due to the above reasons. We were all very uncomfortable did not feel the property was worth the price. Overall, we are disappointed and dissatisfied with the stay. Would not recommend staying here!

Schoolies Week Party House
My family and I stayed at this property expecting a clean house (we were told to check in an hour later and check out an hour earlier for extra Covid cleaning between guests). The first thing we found was sand on the floor, so cleaning was questionable. There were also used plastic cups in the garage, bottle tops in the barbecue, corks in the garden, burn marks on the pool table, stains on the carpet, rusting bunk beds, torn upholstery and duct tape holding furniture together.
This property would be perfect for schoolies week or college parties, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a family holiday.

The place was great. We had a very comfortable stay. The only thing is there is an ugly shed in the front yard blocking half the magnificent view. Just my opinion. Other than that everything was great.

Acceptable
Great location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house could have been air rated. One of our family members had to run to get nose spray/zertex due to stuffy and mouldy smell. Kitchen fully equipped and enough for all of us but the couch in the kitchen areas were so dirty we had to use our own spare sheet to cover before sitting on.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 1 week stay here in Mamorhomy. We have a family of 10 and everything was clean, in good condition and to top it off we had great weather. I can't recommend this property more.
