Lovely week away with our dogs! Bach is old so be prepared to feel cold.. fireplace works magic! Thank you for the firewood 👍!! Outer Napier … so great location for feeling away but close to city amenities! We loved exploring Hawke’s Bay and found it very dog friendly 🐶🙌🙏!

Was really nice to head to a fairly local place to have some time out as a family: no interruptions etc.
Beautiful rustic bach the way they should be: Awesome to have our dogs with us and the brazier in the back garden that was enclosed. Bring your marsh mallows and sticks.
Fridge ran a bit warm so chucked some foods out I would normally keep as daughter pregnant but not an issue for two days: Would stay again

Great relaxing home atmosphere, location great and peaceful, added to our holiday visit to Napier

It was a little bit more of a Bach and pricey for the location. A loud dog barked a lot next door which was a pain early am.
Also one toilet only in the bathroom which is not ideal for a family and no large cooking pots.
Otherwise fine.

Caution, pictures are from a few years ago and do not reflect the current condition of the house. Yes, it is three bedrooms, but it is very rustic, dated, damaged and poorly maintained. Holes in doors, dropping ceiling tiles, filthy windows and threadbare carpets. By the time the host got back to us after numerous texts and calls, we had booked another location to stay. They have also refused to refund our money, offering us only to refund the cleaning fee if we stayed there. Be forewarned, stay clear unless you want to stay at a dirty, smelly and very Rustic Beach Bach.

Relaxed homely place right on the beach with a lovely outlook to the sea and Bluff Hill in the distance. Handy to everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay.

Michelle's place is cool. Really great areas to sit and relax. Loved the huge upstairs bedroom with its tranquil feel and seaviews. Michelle was great. Fantastic communication which made our stay easy and relaxing.

Overall it suited our needs and it reminded me of beach houses from my childhood in Onrus, South Africa. I don't really want spotless perfection as I don't want to stress.
We came of a cricket tournament. Kids had a great time on the beach after each hard day and we bbq-ed and used the beach (safely of course).
Felt good about supporting this area as well as the nearest winery.
So awesome to hear the waves the whole time.

Loved the character of this place and the master bedroom was phenomenal. What a lovely space for hanging out in reading books and listening to the ocean roar

This was an absolutely beautiful property looking over the sea. The beds are super comfy. It has everything you need, even a washing machine outside. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor and a lounge and then a lovely bedroom upstairs. And a lovely fireplace with wood provided. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you so much!

Was good, had no hot water and had it sorted within a couple hours. Easy to get in contact. Nice little getaway

A typical kiwi bach.
However, it was a bit down at heel, in need of maintenance. Not well cleaned before we got there (debris under bed, sofas etc). Right on the beach, which was lovely for walks, but unsafe for swimming, which we didn't know before we got there. We had a good time nonetheless.

Booking a very easy process, good communication with the owner.
A beautiful spot, right on the Beach. Clean and comfortable with a good secure area outside for the dogs.

Booked for 2 days to enjoy a long weekend at the beach but only ended staying for one night. Unfortunately we were unhappy with the cleanliness and couldn't escape the old house smell. Was alittle disappointed by the overall presentation of the house compared to the photos shown. It's a great spot but we feel it was very expensive compared to what was shown on the website. If it was cheapier than you wouldn't mind it but at the premium price asked we felt very ripped off.

Except for the view, everything about this place was wrong. Not clean floors, bad toilet, sticking cutlery. Sticky bottle for coffee n sugar. I had to buy disposable plates & cutlery.
Backyard dirty, spa empty. The list could go on n on.
The view & area is great nut the place needs a big spring clean n boost up with flooring n carpet n bedding n sheets.

A rustic beach property in a relaxing private location. Amazing views. Perfect for a family with the added bonus of bringing our dogs. Had the beach outside the property to ourselves for surfcasting and roasting marshmallows on both nights.
A nice family getaway : )

My partner and I so enjoyed our stay, not long enough. Cosy, Rustic, Quiet, Beautiful views. We had the holiday we were hoping for, relaxing, coffee & wine on the sand, steps away from house watching the sunset was just what we needed, lovely area. We enjoyed meeting the manager and she was ever so accommodating. We will definitely make this our secret getaway.

We booked this house because it allowed us to bring our two dogs. The property has a fenced back yard which is great. Location is excellent, beside a beautiful beach (no swimming), close to local mountain-bike park and 15 mins drive to Napier CBD. There is another house at the back of the property so the driveway is shared. The owner was very friendly and welcoming.
The house itself is not in good condition and we had some maintenance issues while we were there. There was a leak in the ceiling of the upstairs bedroom and halfway through our stay, the only toilet broke because the cistern was not properly affixed to the wall. When the toilet broke, the owner's voicemail said she was out of cell-phone range for several days. We hadn't been given an alternative emergency contact so we had to organise an on-call plumber ourselves. The plumber told us that the repair he did was not permanent and more work is needed soon. The owner later refunded us the cost of the repairs and said she is looking to renovate the property during 2022.
Overall - great location and good if you are travelling with dogs but house itself needs some work.

We enjoyed being at this quiet beach environment with the open view of the sea and across to Ahuriri. Close to mountain bike and walking areas. Fantastic water pressure. Nice spot to eat outside with a view of the sea. Comfortable place to relax and the dogs loved it, even if they growled at the larger one next door when he barked!! So thank you, Michelle.

This suited our family needs coming from 3 different directions. Surf casting right outside the front door. So cool for family gathering to include the dog.
