Great location near Eastham-Orleans line. House was very clean and well furnished, missing only a fish basket for use on the outside grill. We loved watching the sun rise over the cove and the moonlight over the water at night. Our adult daughter and a friend joined us for a few days and fully enjoyed the two ocean kayaks. Commercial washer and dryer made laundry easy, and we appreciated the beach chairs and umbrellas. It was the loveliest setting for a summer rental we have enjoyed in many summers coming to the Cape. Highly recommended for a couple or small family.

This is a gem of a find for a family of 4. The location is beautiful with a wonderful yard, beautiful spot on the cove, relaxing hammock and everything you need to enjoy the view.
The house is nicely appointed and very clean. The outdoor shower under the trees was perfect!

Our family of four stayed here for a week. This place is wonderful. It gives you the Cape Cod cottage feel with modern amenities and views that put you in instant vacation mode. Everywhere you looked was a water view, our daughters loved the hammock, and we had a great time on the kayaks. We would definitely rent this place again.

Lovely, comfortable cottage in a great location. Enjoyed sunrises and wildlife from our waterfront windows.

Sandy and Marty have a lovely cottage on the cove. It is incredibly well maintained, clean, and is stocked with all vacation necessities. We found the owners to be very reponsive when we reached out with a question at the beginning of our trip. My husband and I have been staying at the Cape for over a decade and this cottage is the nicest one we have had the pleasure to rent. Our young children thoroughly enjoyed use of the yard and we appreciated having morning coffees overlooking the water.

This house was wonderful! It is one of 8 or so cabins, with its own secluded yard and panoramic ocean views. The light filled one story house has a main living/dining/kitchen area that is beautiful, has everything needed with panoramic ocean views on all sides. Windows galore! Two bedrooms were small but had plenty of storage and nice windows. Small bathroom was also well equipped and really cute, also an outdoor shower. Large basement had EVERYTHING needed for beach days, kayaking, two bikes and anything else you you may want to do. Looking at the water, boats and fishermen while we relaxed, watched TV and cooked was a treat. We have been coming to the Cape for 9 years and this is the best house we have stayed in by far. Some linens were included, fitted sheets and pillowcases were not provided. However there were plenty of blankets and pillows etc. Wish we could stay here every single year from now until forever! :)

It’s a delightful, cottage, perfect for two adults who want to be near town but enjoy viewing the water all day long. Well equipped, two bedrooms, cozy, nice big TV, great new couches, perfect little kitchen. Mattresses weren’t great; twins were very firm and the Queen bed was a little soft and squeaky but not too bad. I would definitely go back, 180 degree windows up and down the town cove, so cozy and homey. Really loved it.

A perfect place for our family of four (two adults and two teens) to spend a week on the Cape. Well-equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. New/updated family room furniture from what's depicted in the listing was also a welcome surprise. Communications with the owners was very easy. We enjoyed coffee each morning an cocktails each evening outside with beautiful views of the cove. Centrally located between Orleans and Eastham, the cottage was short driving distance to bayside beaches, national seashore beaches and kettle ponds.

Very quaint cottage on the water that checked all the boxes for us. The kitchen/family/dining room are all open with really nice water views. The 2 bedrooms are a bit small but did the trick. Note no AC in the bedrooms but it’s cool enough at night that we had no problems with just the fans. Only one bathroom, but the outdoor shower was great. The location is very convenient but is just off a main road. Most of all the views from the property and hammock are awesome.

Lovely house in a beautiful spot
We loved a lot about this house. The location is beautiful and there are great views. The yard is magical, with beautiful outdoor seating, hammock, a nice little rolling hill and space for the kids to run around. Great spot for kayaking and there are two single kayaks to use. We had hoped the cove was good for swimming but were disappointed to find it was not. The location is near several beaches but you do have to drive and deal with parking (and paying). The house itself is neat and cute and was very clean. The beds are comfortable and so is the rest of the furniture. The shower is a little small but fine and there’s also an outdoor shower. The dishwasher wasn’t working when we were there and we had a lot of back and forth with the owner but ultimately were not able to resolve the issue during our stay so we hand washed. The grill is nice and works well. The kitchen is decently stocked with pots etc but not great if you really love to cook. I always bring my own knives, cutting boards, and one good pot and was glad to have my own stuff in addition. There are a few board games and no kids toys, but they do have some nice floats for kids and good beach chairs and umbrellas. Overall, a really nice spot and a lovely house.

Great location, great views!!
We had a great time, really enjoyed the location, water views, kayaking and fishing most mornings, and the dock was great to have right out the door.
The wildlife was great too, ospreys, gulls, terns, seals, etc…
We really enjoyed first encounter beach with our boys, age 4 & 6, would love to come back next year.

Perfect vacation spot!
We just loved our stay in this wonderful cottage! It is located in the perfect area to head anywhere on the Cape and it had all the amenities one could wish for! We especially enjoyed the wonderful windows in the living area that brought the outdoors right in. We enjoyed launching our kayaks from the little beach- it was so convenient! We are looking forward to our next visit!

Light-filled Cape Cottage is a Dream Come True
This light-filled cape cottage on waterfront property exceeded every expectation I had for my first trip to Cape Cod. It has views of water from all but two windows, and sea breezes freshen the air night and day. It is a perfect headquarters for exploring the Cape, and the Cape Cod National Seashore is is practically on its doorstep. The cottage has charming sea-inspired furnishings, and all the conveniences of home, like a well-appointed kitchen with new appliances. We loved the outdoor shower, fire pit, and hammock, and if we had a boat, we would have used the community dock just steps away. I won't forget watching a seal eating breakfast one morning, or the egrets and gulls standing on a rock just off shore. As an artist I found the house and location visually stunning, and It's a place I would love to recommend to friends and family.

Relaxing getaway just steps to the water
I arrived at the cottage right at check in time and found it very clean and inviting. One glance out the living room windows at the boats passing by in the cove and I was hooked! Great vacation spot close to National Seashore and all amenities. Relaxing water views great for watching the kayaks and a delight for bird watching. The owner is very responsive and made good suggestions for kayak and linen rentals. Will surely return as I didn't really want to leave! Don't miss the homemade ice cream at the Ice Cream Cafe in Orleans.

Beautiful, relaxing home right on the water
We had an amazing stay at this perfect hideaway. Waking up and having your coffee on the dock while watching kayaker go by on the inlet. Toasting smores outside at night counting the stars and enjoying the quiet. Perfect for a family of 4 with every amenity you need (and not the clutter that you don't). Conveniently located right off of Rte 6 but you would never know it as the highway noise is minimal (but you are close to whatever you need in Orleans or Wellfleet). We can't wait to come back again!!

Great spot and very nice cottage!
This cute, very clean cottage is in a great location. Very close to shopping, many beaches and local attractions. The dock and view were great for enjoying fishing and watching the kayakers pass bye. The yard is private and big enough for kids to play. The outdoor shower came in handy too! The hammock is relaxing and the grill was very nice.

A wonderful vacation!
We had an amazing time at your cottage! A quick and easy drive (you're just off route 6) to our favourite beaches (First Encounter and Coast Guard). Grocery shopping, fish market, and everything you need 5 minutes away. The cottage is perfect! The livingroom is spacious and bright. The kitchen is small but has everything you need. There is lots of outdoor space for the kids to play while you relax and watch the fishing boats and kayaks go by and enjoy the beautiful and peaceful scenery. We had most of our meals outside using the bar-b-q, and enjoyed the beautiful nature so much! The river was great for swimming and fishing! The owners were very courteous and helpful. We definitely recommend this rental and certainly hope to be back again next year!

Wonderful!!
We loved our time in this cozy cottage on the edge of the Salt Pond. It has wonderful views and great yard which feels very private. It was very clean and very comfortable. We loved the outdoor shower. While close to Rte 6, we were not bothered at all by the sound of the traffic. The kitchen is small but we found that we mainly used the microwave and the toaster oven. There is a huge gas grill which we did not have the opportunity to use. Our family consists of a couple with one teen and the cottage was just about the right size for us. The owner was friendly and helpful. We have already recommended the cottage to several friends and hope to return next year.
