Close to town and comfortable beds, if you are looking for modern then this will not meet your needs.

Did everything we needed. Clean. Interior a little old but functional and allowed my junior cyclist to be tested and warm!

Just disappointed that it wasn't the same place as what was advertised.
Advertised unit was modenised, with nicer furniture.
The lounge suite was torn stained and sagged in places.
Carpet was stained in lounge area, heater was full of dust.
It wasn't expensive, but at least be true to advertising

Basic is right, but it has everything you need
She ain't fancy. Only gave it 5 stars because the water pressure in the shower covers all wrong. Needs another heater ideally.

Substandard cleanliness
Fantastic location. I understand it was budget accommodation but cleanliness was definitely substandard. Can overlook certain things as it is listed as a budget accommodation but don’t feel that we should have to clean before and after we stay.

We never come back again
It's very old building and smelled mould. We had most uncomfortable bed ever. The beds were narrow, short and no mattress as well as sofa in living room. I'm 163cm height but can touch the bottom of beds. My friends actually left after they stayed 1 night because the beds were hard, uncomfortable and wasnt clean properly. There is a big backyard however, no one did mowing so, we couldn't go there. The unit was not inviting us at all. I hope the host makes good holiday accommodation for travellers.

Fun Retro
We would definitely here again. Short walk to shops and the weekend market that was on at the footy oval. The unit is retro fun and reminded me of my childhood home. It is very clean and very warm. We enjoyed lunch by the creek at the bottom of the garden and Michelle has added fun features.

Nice place but confusion about sleeping arrangements
Four adults required separate beds.
There were no sheets for the couch settee and I couldn’t contact the owner to give us some bedding.

Bakers Gully Retreat
Stayed over at this property over 3 nights and was well worth the stay. The accommodation was clean and accessible and the owner was easy to communicate with. Close to centre of town and to walking & MTB trails. The area where the property was situated was very nice & quiet.

Great location.
Tight but tidy property. Great for being out and about. Campfire in the bottom of the garden near the creek with big sky above = fantastic. Easy walk/wheel into town. Will return.

Perfect family option for value access to the snow
We had a blast here. Just a quick stay, but excellent location with backyard access to walking trails that the kids absolutely loved. For the price and location we couldn't have hoped for anything more. Will definitely be back!

Very clean little unit
Good quality for this price. Clean unit (little bedroom might need wall clean few spider webs) everything else was very clean. Unit as described by owner, old retro but I really recommend to someone looking for nice cheap accomodation in Bright with great location. Good heating, with extra electric blankets in both rooms. Thank you Michelle for little gift local wine and chocolates ... nice surprise.

Disappointing
Short walk into town. Nice bush setting. I like retro but this was old and run down in desperate need of repaint. Second bedroom tiny - only big enough for kids. Very small cheap tv with scratchy sound. Noisy heater. 1 ply toilet paper - OMG!! Just needs some TLC and could be nice.

I would not choose to stay at this property
Musty, small, cobwebbed, and poorly sited.
My experience: After arrival we were uncomfortable and didn't unpack, we booked elsewhere and didn't stay any longer than necessary in this property.
Agent: The agent was communicative and said the property was budget and needed renovation. She kindly refunded the second night.

Fantastic Old School Character Unit.
Thanks Michelle, we had a wonderful stay at the unit. We did read the reviews before we arrived and we agree, it is old School with some modern. Love it though. The kids thought it was cool too. Thank you kindly for the gifts you left us and for putting out coffee, Sugar,Tea, Hot Chocolate and even a long life milk for us. It was very welcoming and we enjoyed a coffee and the kids a hot chocolate before going out to get dinner. The heater warmed the entire unit, toilet was not needed to be warm. The shower had fantastic pressure.
There was only a few minor things we would suggest for the unit and those would be, electric blankets on all beds, other than that minor issue, it was perfect for us. We didn’t freeze, it just would have been a nice little extra 😁. Overall we loved it and wanted to Thank you for allowing us to stay. We will be back one day and in the mean time, be telling all we know, that they should stop in at the unit if they are ever this way. Thanks again.

Quirky, clean, comfortable.
We came at late notice and stayed in this property. The rooms were comfortable & clean. The kitchen was fully stocked with crockery and cutlery. The furniture & crockery is lovely and retro; I even found the same teapot I have at home. The comfy master bed had an electric blanket but not the kids beds. The living room is warmed by a wall furnace. The shower had great pressure. I know this place is due to be renovated but even now it is a good value clean tidy place to stay! The kids LOVED the outdoor area and creek at the back of the property. Thank you!!

Spotless retro unit
Fantastic unit basic but all that we needed was there. Our host Michelle was also fantastic to deal with

Cheap and cheerful but needs an upgrade urgently
We stayed in unit 4 for 3 nights which is in urgent need of a refurbishment. Furniture is in desperate need of replacement, not only is it old but very uncomfortable. Kitchen was functional albeit a step back to the 70’s. Master bedroom was comfortable however the second bedroom was very small and cramped with two single beds. No pull out couch despite it being advertised. If your after a budget location close to town and not intending to spend too much time doing anything else but sleeping then this location could work, if not, keep looking as there are many other options available.
