This is our second time back at this hotel. We love the location and the sense of calm. It’s a simple train ride from Pisa. It really is an oasis of calm. I love the beach and the bikes.
Everything was fantastic. we will be back. We did not eat in the hotel this time. We prefer to explore the local restaurants on the bike.

One of the best locations we've been, everythibg in relates to accomodation is fantastic, room ia great, staff very friendly and helpful, services are great, breakfast is woaw and Eate is a one of a kind experience.
You can take free bikes at any point you like, for a nice 10 minutes ride to Follonica, enjoy the sea side riding.
Really recommend The Sense Experience Resort!
Room booking was superior with sea view, but only with side view in reality for us, even though there were also rooms with sea view. Picture of superior sea view rooms from bookings did not match with reality, however room was very clean, confortable, modern and big, no complaints on that!

few little service issues but nothing to keep me away.

The hotel feels like it’s on a secluded beach in the middle of no where. Very peaceful escape. Exactly what we needed. Excellent breakfast. love the free bikes and kayaking
The service at times felt a little all over the place in the restaurant. Minor point as we were totally relaxed.

all good

Reception staff were fabulous and the beach and surrounding areas are fab, Unfortunetly after that everything else was awful - The resteraunt and bar staff were rude, slow and unhelpful, The room was tiny and not at all as described
The rooms are tiny and not at all as described, They are more like 2 star airport hotel rooms than a luxury resort, Resteraunt staff are awful and rude there is no "bar" its a trailer in the middle of the garden and insanely overpriced

The property is beautiful and spotlessly clean everywhere. The beach is wonderful.
We didn’t like wearing swim caps in the pool so we didn’t really use it. didn’t matter because the beach is so nice.
10.0
fresh location and nice rooms and facilities
Did not like that they did not have free seating for breakfast and limited available dinner

the beach was just ok

Beautiful hotel located on the beach with its own large private territory, although being full, there was no crowds nither at the breakfast nor anywhere else
One of the two restaurants (Gimora or something) we visited was ridiculously poor. Just not tasty at all. Dish quality is the same as in my son’s school cafe. Two Michelin-listed restaurants in a nearby town are much better.
Hotel sends a tons of useless emails via booking.com. Still keeps sending me welcome messages. Don’t know how to stop it.

Excellent place. Extremely good restaurant for such type of resort. Mainly because of staff. David and his team was extremely good during breakfast and dinner.
Seaside is extremely good to relax and swim. It is shallow cost so good to swim, and with kids especially. We were walking though seacost and found that this resort was the best in this place.
Wooden terrace and road was just short and not covered whole beach. It was not comfortable as you have to go on the sand too much. The water in the beach shower wasn't all time.
Vanity set wasn't provided / updated all time.
Onboarding could be better: it was asked about temperature needed, and bathrobes was L size however we shared our size.

It’s a very beautiful place with trees and flowers all over the place, overlooking the beach, very organized staff in terms of beach chairs for all the residents, and also the breakfast tables are assigned.

We loved the location right on the beach, we had the choice of the beach and pool close by. the rooms were lovely, spotless and comfortable with a lovely sea view. We really loved that the hotel gave us bikes to rent for free which we used to cycle down to the town for dinners, we also had use of free kayaks. Breakfast was amazing, everything you could want. The hotel room was spotless and so comfortable with an amazing bed and shower. They left us waters before bed too which was such a nice touch.
The hotel was lovely however I feel it wasn’t the right fit for us and we would have preferred something more authentic. This is due to the properly not having an Italian feel to it, we could have been anywhere when inside the hotel. the staff although very helpful and friendly, we’re very formal and it was difficult to feel relaxed or build any conversation. It is literally a perfect hotel we just weren’t the correct target audience.

All the staff were super helpful and accommodating and everything was finished to a very high specification.
little niggle….Charges for swimming hats, crisps and peanuts.

very nice resort and great to have a private beach
no gym yet. Follonica itself is not that interesting.
drinks (both beach bar and mini bar are very expensive)

The staff were wonderful and did everything to accommodate our needs and wishes. We felt pampered. I loved the little extras, like really good hair conditioner and super soft bathrobes. The views were amazing and the outdoor seating was well thought out.
The food in the restaurant was adequate but not very tasty. I gave the staff this feedback and I look forward to an improvement on our next stay!

Very modern and comfortable rooms!
Breakfast is good italian standard, but why do I get scrambled eggs for free, but have to pay 5€ for fried eggs????

Pretty rich chioces of breakfast, the beds are super comfortble, and their staff could memorise the last name of guests. Every staff are friendly and helping. Could have more activities inside the resorts such like cooking lessons and yoga would be great!
We had a small episode after reception, both 2 room cards didnt work and the staff swiched them twice, took a sort of long time waiting in a room powered cut( the lift work only with cards). We shared one card for 2 days stay and a free cocktail treat in the end.

Friendly and helpful staff. Good location. Nice, modern and clean rooms. Plenty of parking spaces. Fairly priced.

great breakfast, tasty food, good location
I recommend booking half board, since prices for food (if you want to have a dinner) are pretty high

Very nice beach and excellent service and availability by personnel.
Tidy rooms, cleaned 2 times a day.
Nice morning breakfast.
Food: international cuisine; I understand the reasons behind it (international guests) but more local an genuine food and recipes would gave been appreciated... We are in italy after all: Italian food is the best.
