Nice, cozy n relaxing

The cabin was super cozy. I liked that there was a code on the door instead of a keyed entry. The check in process was easy, and the clerk was super helpful. I will definitely return!
The parking is sort of a free for all. Also, if you check in after hours, it's just a envelope in an open basket with the key code. Also, I'm 5'11, the ceilings are super low if you're tall.

Rustic, quite charming
Close to Highway with noise

The property was beautiful and quiet!!!!
Our cabin had a very spongy floor at the foot of the bed. I was afraid someone would fall through!

A shower caddy to hold my toiletries would have been a huge help.

The location is near most places to go explore & eat
BEWARE OF BLACK BEARS
Spiders and spider webs inside the cabin
Beds are uncomfortable to sleep on
Trash cans sure be secured outside so bears don’t get into the trash cans

The cabin was very quaint and had a lot of character. The front porch was a great spot to hang out and relax after dinner out. Parking was very convenient right in front of the cabin and no need to carry things very far.
The coffee maker didn't work and the whole set up was awkward with the coffee maker needing to be set on the ground to reach the power outlet.

The general character (individual log cabins) is fantastic -- love the idea, and love the execution. The cabins themselves are very nice, comfortable, well-maintained, and roomy. The guest book provided in the room gives lots of useful and interesting information about the history of the facility, where to go / what to do in the area, etc. Also a few things that I love, but I didn't have occasion to use during this trip: the property also includes common facilities such as laundry and fire-pit. The kitchen contains complete supplies needed for cooking (pots and pans, dishes/cups, silverware, etc). This trip was just a couple of days but I could see spending a month or more here very comfortably without having to spend lots of money in restaurants.
There is no staff on-site most of the time. Someone responds quickly to text/email messages, but that's not quite the same as actually having someone you can go to. The street that the facility is on (Weaverville Road) is not very pedestrian-friendly. I love to take long walks and while there are places I could go to hike/walk (info provided in the 'guest book'), those are places that I need to drive to before walking. When I'm walking, I prefer to just walk.

The historical aspect and the quaintness.
The linens had stains that looked like blood and urine.

The location was quiet. We enjoyed how cute it was . It felt like walking back in time .
We had an issue the first night. We had been on the road for 7 hours. Came in and left for dinner we didn't check the TV. We came back to watch the world series. TV didn't work. The cable box was laying in the floor. Someone had attempted to patch it together with duck tape. Got a hold of office Sara she changed is rooms.

Not much to like. Quaint I guess. I f you want a really low rent nasty place this is it.
First I never write reviews but had to warn people. No one to check in with, door code in an envelope and if you miss placed it you are locked out. First when entering smelled, I got a queen and ordered a king no one to see. No door key, the room was so small no place to open luggage, both water taps were hot, no furniture to speak of, bath room door was a board, one cloths hanger, etc . As we where leaving a spider walked across the bed. I n the online pictures this place looked very nice and I have stayed in cabins in the past that have a rustic feeling but are well kept and modern this was not. Lots of good reviews is why we booked but don’t believe them
3.5
The quaintness and history.
The inside of my cabin needed some additional cleaning and maintenance. Specifically, the bathroom had some black mold and paint was beginning to peel. Never saw or talked to any staff. All communications was through email which is ok but doesn’t reflect the friendly history projected in the advertisement of the place.

The cabin was charming and close to the city.
I would have loved better lighting for the mirror.

history is interesting and enticing not cookie cutter chain
wood and matches for fireplace were damp
