About this cabin rental
Bearly Heaven is proof that you can rent a vacation getaway in a wonderfully convenient location without sacrificing privacy or luxuries. The log cabin, which sleeps nine people, is surrounded by woodlands, and boasts spectacular views of the Smoky Mountains, yet it’s just minutes from the attractions of both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. What’s more, its amenities include an outdoor hot tub and a pool table.
The home was designed to make the most of its glorious surroundings. The rear decks are furnished with chairs, bistro tables for alfresco dining, and even a porch swing so that you could while away entire days outside, watching falcons and eagles soar above the mountains as chickadees and wrens provide a chirping soundtrack. The best spot for relishing the natural splendor is the deck’s roomy hot tub. Though a soak is pampering anytime, it’s especially magical as the sun sets behind the mountains and the stars begin peeking through the sky.
Floor-to-ceiling windows throughout Bearly Heaven’s living room allow you to revel in the view even while you’re sprawled out on one of the leather couches surfing the web or watching TV. The room itself is a worthy complement to the scenery, with a wood-beamed cathedral ceiling and a stone-surround fireplace you’ll love gathering around on brisk winter evenings.
The dining area is another space that lends itself to gathering with the gang. The main table easily seats eight people; behind it is a breakfast bar that seats two more, and just off the kitchen is another table with room for four. If you’re not using this table for meals or snacks, it’s the perfect spot for playing board games or setting up a giant jigsaw puzzle. Equipped with stainless-steel appliances, cookware and tableware, the kitchen can handle gourmet meals and midnight snacks with equal aplomb. There’s also a camp-style charcoal grill out front, should you have a taste for barbecue.
The cabin has a game room, too, with a pool table and another TV. At the far end of the game room are twin bunk beds. The kids will clamor to sleep here: Who wouldn’t want to have a pool table in their sleeping quarters?
Bearly Heaven’s other sleeping areas are even more inviting. From the primary suite’s king-size bed, you’ll have a front-row view of the Smokies—there’s no better sight to wake up to. The suite also features a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. The second bedroom is as dreamy, with a queen-size bed, wood-planked walls and ceiling, a ceiling fan and a TV. Yet another sleeping nook includes bunk beds and a trundle, enabling it to sleep three more guests.
Along with four sleeping areas, Bearly Heaven has four full bathrooms. You won’t have to wait your turn to brush your teeth in the morning. Other amenities include a washer, dryer and ample parking. And because the cabin is in the exclusive Cobbly Nob neighborhood, which is set within a 1,000-acre resort, in summer you’ll have free access to two community pool areas.
Just a 10-minute drive from Bearly Heaven is Bent Creek Golf Course, designed by Primary's and British Open champion Gary Player. Drive a few minutes more, and you’re in the Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community, a trove of more than 100 galleries, shops and studios. Downtown Gatlinburg, whose attractions range from Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies to Sugarlands Distillery, is less than a half-hour from the cabin, as is the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
No matter how you spend your days, you’ll relish returning to the serenity, comfort and beauty of Bearly Heaven afterward. Don’t miss out; book your stay today.

We recently rented this cabin for Spring Break. We love the views, absolutely gorgeous Mountain View’s from the decks. The cabin itself is in good shape and was clean. It comes equipped with all the basics you need. Bedrooms were comfy. Drive up the mountain is a little intimidating at first, roads are very narrow and winding. Would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves back in the Gatlinburg area.

We had a great stay at this location. This cabin is plenty big for two families and it was very clean. The view was excellent save for a few trees that had grown up on part of the deck. Light in the downstairs bedroom was broken and the room was very dim using only bedside lights but we loved the cabin and stay so much that it didn’t bother us. Location was good as it was close to Gatlinburg. Pigeon Forge is a bit of a drive from this cabin but it is still worth it. We would stay again and recommend this cabin.

Cabin was great !!! Great view !! Just as described!! Sleeps more than mentioned.. which was good for me cause my husband snores.. lol.. if you are cooking for alot of people you will need a bigger pot.. my only complaint that I was upset about was the BBQ pit.. the Cabin says it sleeps 8-9 people and the pit is very very very small.. maybe could only fit 2 steaks.. we didn't use ar all to small.. 😔😔

This is our sixth time staying at Bearly Heaven. I have to say, although the views are to die for, the home has diminished in condition over the past few years. Management is not keeping it clean nor is it making simple repairs. Very sad the neglect we noticed just in the past three years.

Our family enjoyed this very spacious cabin! The multiple bathrooms was a huge bonus. The kids loved the pool table :) .
If you're looking for lots of space with a nice view, check out Bearly Heaven.

Wonderful
Our group was 2 families with 4 adults and 4 children, aged 1-9. This cabin was amazing. Very clean and plenty of room. The views are phenomenal. The hot tub was clean and worked great. We enjoyed the game room. There were plenty of beds. The downstairs bedroom mattress was not very soft but we survived. Kitchen was fairly well stocked with necessities, although I do recommend they add a few more baking pans/ sheets. We also could have used an extra tab or two for the dishwasher. We did go to one of the community pools and it was clean and had some chairs available to use.
We even saw a couple bears on our way down the mountain one of the days! Speaking of the mountain, be prepared for narrow roads with steep drop offs. We found the back road to be easier for us to navigate. By the end of our stay, we felt like pros.
We would absolutely recommend you stay here and we have already talked about coming back!

Lovely mountain getaway
We had a great weekend at this cabin. It was clean. The kids loved the pool table and bunk beds. We enjoyed the beautiful views.

Beautiful View
The cabin was so much larger than the listing showed. We could have slept 9 adults. There are 5 twin beds, one full, one king and one queen. The 3 bathrooms and 4 available showers were more than adequate. The only drawback was the construction going on next door. A brand new cabin is being built and the construction was a bit noisy and messy. It will probably be finished by summer. Advice: do your best to drive back to the cabin BEFORE dark, because the winding, narrow roads are poorly lit. Otherwise, the view from the cabin was AWESOME and there was lots of room and things to do right inside. I would definitely rent this cabin again but for longer next time.

Great place
This was a great place to stay. As mentioned by other reviewers this place has more than it looks in the pictures. There 2 kitchens, one on the main floor and the other at the lower floor. Also there are 2 bunk beds. So it sleeps 4. I was bit confused with the pictures and assumed that its one bunk bed which sleeps 2. Kids enjoyed the game room. They played pool and foosball all day. One of the pool stick was broken when we checked in. I informed the property manager and they offered a replacement but we did not really needed that one. Hot tub was also fun all of us enjoyed it. Its in the main balcony so you enjoy good mountain view. The last 2 miles of the drive to the cabin felt scary at first but few trips up and down and you get used to it. I did had 2wd vehicle and travelled in summer but during snow I would recommend a AWD. Only improvement I would say that the pictures needs to be updated. We stayed for 3 nights and felt that the toiletries were inadequate given that we were 9 people staying. Also you need to press * after the door access code. This wasn’t mentioned in the checkin instruction. So we had to call the office to get this clarified. Other than that everything was great and we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful view
Place was great with a beautiful view. There are a few items that are broken prior to out stay that need addressed. One of the fop bunks is broken, the downstairs couch was broken among a few other things. We called housekeeping for towels and washcloths bc there were not enough for all of us. Spoke with a woman who said they would bring some right up to the cabin. Never received them, even after calling a second time. Overall, the place was great! Would consider staying again.

Very spacious and updated!
One of the nicest and cleanest cabin experiences I’ve had in Gatlinburg. Besides one other cabin you have a lot of privacy and a great view. All the essentials were provided and there were even more beds than were listed. The hot tub ran great as did all the appliances and it made for a smooth weekend. Would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at Barely Heaven
Overall my family and friends had a great time and a pleasant stay at this cabin. Very cozy and spacious! About 30% of the mountinous views on the east side of the property was obstructed by a cabin that was built after the pictures used to advertise this property. The views are still absolutely gorgeous but I feel that the pictures used to advertise for this property should be updated for future renters. All in all we had a great time, thanks for having us!

Beautiful views
Amazing views, a few bear encounters, beautiful cabin. Many ladybugs in the cabin, the bed in the room next to the kitchen was very uncomfortable, but overall beautiful cabin. The shower next to the kitchen does not drain properly. The communication with property manager was not good. I sent a few emails and no one responded. There was damage to the wood of outside of cabin when we came back one night and I was not able to get ahold of anyone. I sent emails and no response and I called but no reception. Overall it was a great stay. The kitchen had everything you needed. Roku in rooms and livingroom. Breathtaking view from the deck.

BEAUTIFUL VIEW AND CABIN
We loved this cabin although there is another cabin directly beside it that blocks a lot of the view. Going down the drive we got to see a bear which the kids loved. The downstairs is perfect for children while the grown ups have the upstairs. Make sure you get the passcode before arrival I had to call with little to no service to get access to the code. We will be coming back here a lot of memories made!

Although small from the front, this one is a sleeper. Listed as 2 bedrooms, it sleeps 9 and has 4 baths! Decent kitchen supplies, but no coffee filters, oven mitts, ice maker or measuring spoons. Also bring your own consumables and condiments (tin foil, ziplocks, etc), but there are some starter paper goods and dishwashing supplies. 2 nice back decks with gliders, swing and hot tub with a great view (also note that the neighbors, newer, 3-story cabin is also seen prominently from the deck side view--not private). The internet was decently fast and you can connect to your online movie accounts from the 2 big TVs, but we couldn't get the other 3 TVs to connect (kitchen and 2 bedrooms). As far as the king bed upstairs off the kitchen, the mattress KILLED my back (could feel the coils) and the fitted sheet was a very stretched, upside down queen size with holes in it. Put a call in that Sat evening we arrived, but never heard back. We finally rotated the mattress and folded a blanket to sleep on to make it more tolerable. The bath off the kitchen is NOT connected to the master room and the bathtub does NOT drain properly, so you always are standing in filthy water and the tub is always disgusting once drained. The downstairs queen bed sinks in towards the middle, and the tub/shower is in the room beside the bed on the carpet. The lighting for the cabin is dim and yellow. We couldn't play games or read or craft with the lights. Even the bathroom lights were terrible. We purchased some daylight LED bulbs and lamps to help remedy this situation. Overall it was a pleasant stay in a nice home, but had to get a massage (only 10 min away and advertised on fridge) midway through the week because of the mattresses. There were bears along the road, and some even left tracks in the driveway. We had a great time, but would choose a different place unless these issues were remedied. Oh, we were about 30 min from Gatlinburg, with a small grocery store about 15 min away. Wal-Mart is about 40 min away, and know that this is up a winding, mountain-top road so you can't drive fast. Beautiful area. Hope to visit again someday.

Beautiful view!
Code wasn't given to get into property, had to call the company bc no response with vrbo, which of course isn't easy with no phone signal and having a load of groceries. A new house is being built right next door and construction started at 8 a.m. every morning and they parked in our driveway when they felt like it. Having a grill is nice but as it is closer to the road, we literally had to run outside to get our food off if it when a momma bear and her 3 cubs came up the mountain to see what we were cooking. Property was clean and comfortable for us.

Beautiful, Relaxing, Getaway!
This cabin was located out of the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg, but close enough that each day we were able to get out and go do something new and fun. We always would come back to the cabin and spend our time on the deck in the hot tub enjoying the mountain view and the sunsets. It was perfect for or family, and everyone had their own space. We would love to stay again when the opportunity comes! Thank You - The Meisters

Bearly Heaven is Heaven!
The cabin is amazing. It is huge, beautiful, comfortable and we saw a Mama Bear and three babies right outside!!!! The check-in was super easy, the check-out was simple and we had everything we needed. The view was incredible and the price was unbelievable - There were six of us and we had more than enough room. Thanks, Bearly Heaven - our weekend was wonderful.

Love the view. Lots of cob webs and dust
Love it. Everything was great except when calling Maintenance about a missing moat control so my grandma can watch TV it took them two phone calls in three days to come and replace it but by then it was Wednesday my grandma can’t get up and down stairs easy so she was kind of upset but other than that everybody enjoyed themselves

Great family cabin in Gatlinburg
Nine of us stayed at this lovely property. We were pleasantly surprised to find more space than we had expected based on the pictures and description. A couple important kitchen items were missing but they were brought to us right away. Awesome views, all of the windows could be cleaner to enjoy the view even better. I could imagine coming back again!

We just celebrated a new grandson and wanted to give the family a staycation. It was fantastic! Between the view, the hot tub, the game from, and the kitchens, everyone had somewhere they wanted to be.

We and our kids rated this vacation a 10! The cabin was more than we expected. We could be together, yet there was room to do our own thing as well. The view was fabulous.

More than we expected.
The property was lovely. Very clean and it had plenty of space. The views were amazing!! Hot tub was nice and clean as well. If I had any feedback at all it would be that they should have a place to have guests leave left over items for future guests. I have been to other places where if you use up an item you replace it and if you don’t have it, it is there. Things such as detergent, hand soap, dish detergent, etc. The welcome pack is nice but Very limited. Also, limited cookware.

Cabin was exactly as expected and spacious. Disappointed with the cookware, dishes and utensils. We were only able to find 1 of the 2 pools listed for use and it was not clean at all. My children were disappointed they couldn’t go swimming. Quiet area to stay.
