About this house rental
'Moonbeams', is our beautiful 2006 custom built, spacious 2700 square foot beach home on first row 'Road’s End' in Lincoln City, Oregon. This fabulous home has breathtaking 180 views from wall-to-wall oceanfront windows. We don't just claim to have ocean views, we actually have them!!! Your favorite past time will be sitting in our huge comfy couch in the vaulted great room watching the waves break on the sand. It is truly a mesmerizing experience! You will literally be steps away from the beach, as our home is kitty-corner to the beach front ‘Road’s End State Park’ (beach access point).
You’ll never be at a loss for something to do at our home with so many extras including; Hot tub (with ocean views and wind protected walls), ping pong table, PlayStation2, library, TV/DVD/VCR's/Blue-Ray, wireless internet access, stereo, board games, card games, puzzles, BBQ grill, binoculars, beach toys, an amazing 81 game stand-up arcade machine (no quarters needed!), or just sink into our comfy couch by the fireplace and read a good book.
'Moonbeams' was designed just for our guests. Having rented beach homes ourselves in the past, we knew what was important, and we included it five huge full-sized bedrooms, open Great room with adjoining dining, fully equipped kitchen, four bathrooms, family recreation room, and two large decks (one with the hot tub looking out on the ocean, and both have amazing deck chairs for lounging), and did we mention....WE ACTUALLY HAVE VIEWS!!! All linens provided. Parking for seven vehicles. Check-in time 4:00 p.m. and check-out time 11:00 a.m.

Upstairs:
*Two Master Suites. One ‘executive’ master suite with King Bed and master bath with jetted garden tub and separate walk in shower, the second master suite has a King bed and a full size futon. Both have wonderful bay window with ocean views.
*Full bathroom with tub/shower is also located in the upstairs hall.
*A fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops (with a bar that seats three); an adjoining dining room with a HUGE table for seating up to 14; an adjoining Great room with fireplace, TV/DVD/VCR, stereo, built-in library with sitting area and full ocean-front windows wall to wall.
Downstairs:
*Three large bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms have a queen bed and a bunk bed. The bunks have a lower ‘full size’ futon for extra sleeping space. One of these bedrooms also has a sliding door for private access to the hot tub. The third bedroom has a king bed. There are two bathrooms downstairs; one full bath (with tub/shower) and one half bath off of the recreation room. All beds have Simmons Beautyrest pillowtop mattresses (even the twin bunks!)
*The family Rec room has an alcove built-in library with a queen sofa sleeper (best for the ‘young ones’!) and an adjoining large open room with couch and love seat; a large TV/DVD/VCR/Blue-Ray, and Playstation2. This room also has an awesome, no-coin required, 81 game arcade machine. Family recreation room sleeps two and has slider door access to the deck with hot tub.
'Moonbeams' has parking for 6-7 vehicles (depending on vehicle size.) There is parking for at least 4 vehicles behind the house and another 2 or 3 in front.
Beach access is through the Road's End State Park, which is located across the street and three houses south (approximately 150 feet.)
We are truly located in the perfect spot!!

We found Moonbeams one of the best rentals we've had, mainly because of the fantastic location, the great views, and care and maintenance of the home. We were able to easily get down to the beach within 5 minutes for swimming and sandcastles by crossing the road to Road's End State park. When we wanted to visit the tidepools, we walked north to the last public access point to save a little time.
Overall, the house was very clean and well equipped, with plenty of pans, dishware, and utensils available for cooking at home, plus books, beach toys and chairs. Our kids loved the arcade game, the hot tub was clean and worked well, and the neighborhood was quiet. Even better, all the rooms had dark shades or curtains and comfortable beds, which made sleeping in even easier! The host was quick to respond when we had questions on the grill, and the checkout expectations were reasonable as well. We had a great time at Moonbeams and hope to return next summer!

This home was PERFECT for our family of 12 plus an infant. The 5 bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable. The 3.5 bathrooms were clean and hot water never ran out. The hot tub was outstanding and worked excellent. Loved sitting on deck and enjoying the views and sounds of the beach. The walk to beach was less 3 minutes. The neighborhood was peaceful and relaxing. The kitchen was the most well stocked in dishes and cook wear that we’ve ever seen. We loved preparing all of our meals here. Seating for all 12 of us around the dinner table was so nice! Everything worked except the old arcade game. The WiFi was fast and reliable. Loved the family rooms up and down. The parking behind the house was great. The ping pong in the garage was a a great activity as we waited for family to load up in the van. 5 mile hike to God’s thumb was spectacular. Glass blowing at Lincoln glass center was a family favorite. And the beach was gorgeous. This was a marvelous stay! Zero complaints!

Moonbeams was a great fit for my family of ten! Plenty of bedrooms with combination of twin and queen size beds, so parents could share a room with their littles if desired. Master was huge and very comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped and we loved the hot tub overlooking the ocean. Plenty of parking. Steps to the public beach access and at low tide it was amazing to check out the tide pools.. Neighborhood is very quiet and we even saw a family of deer wandering through yards. We’d definitely stay there again!

Perfect for Family
We absolutely loved our stay at Moonbeams and we were sad to leave. Had a wonderful experience catching up with family as we are spread between 3 states and it's rare we can all get together at the same time. The house was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and the welcome basket of treats was enjoyed by All! That was so very thoughtful! We can't thank you enough for your hospitality! Definitely would highly recommend to others and we hope to return in the future.
Only suggestion would be little end tables or coffee table in upstairs living room to set drinks on.
Also the walk to the beach was a bit difficult for my 80 year old mother, however we helped her manage. (Just an FYI for anyone who has limited mobility)

Great Beach Vacation
I traveled to Lincoln city with my adult children, their spouses, my five fabulous grandkids ages 4,5,7,9, and 11, and my 91 year old mother. Our stay was great. The house was beautiful and beds were all incredibly comfortable. The kids loved the bunk beds and the arcade on our rainy days. We were steps from the beach. My mother had a little difficulty with the stairs but we all helped her maneuver. The views were spectacular. I am grateful for our beach time in this beautiful home. Thanks so much. Also best stocked kitchen ever. We all love to cook♥️

This home has great ocean views with beach access less than a block away. The house is welcoming with an open kitchen, dining room and living area on the top floor. Down stairs had another nice living area with a deck and access to the hot tub.

Holiday relaxation Getaway
My husband has brain cancer and just finished 6 weeks of radiation treatments and Chemotherapy. We wanted to get our adult children all together as it’s the season for memories. We had a great time. The storm brought great waves to sit by the fireplace and relax. Hostess is awesome!

Perfect for a Family Reunion!
This home met all our needs! We spent 5 days enjoying our family and this amazing location in this wonderful beach house. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the equipment we needed for cooking together as a family. The ocean views were beautiful. We could walk down the road a minute to get to the path to the beach. We loved exploring the beach and being chased by the waves. Everything we needed was right at hand. I would highly recommend this amazing home and location.

What a great property!
We stayed here for a family reunion (group of 13) and had a fabulous time. This property is clean, tons of room, and the owners have thought of great details to make the stay even more fun. The owners are also AMAZING with communicating and help, if needed. The kids loved hanging out in the rec/game room and the bedrooms are great. The hot tub is large and the view from it is amazing! Appliances are new and sheets, towels, etc good quality. And while this home isn't beachfront it may as well be. You basically get a beachfront view for the non beachfront price because you literally only need to walk about 50 feet to get to beach access! Crack open a window and listen to the waves... You are that close! Plenty of hot water, space to "move in" and TONS of gear for cooking! The fridge is large but there is only one. We recommend a cooler for drinks if you're a large group to save room for food. Our only suggestion for owners is a larger garbage can in the kitchen (maybe a nice one to the right of fridge?) as the small one in kitchen is a challenge when cooking for large groups. But we would have stayed there with no garbage can! Be sure to have coffee on the deck and watch the ocean roll in... It was good for our souls!

Wonderful vacation home!
This home was large enough for our whole group which ranged from 7 years to 73 years old. The only disadvantage was the stairs for the elder 2 of the group. There was plenty to entertain the children and lots of room around the table for family gatherings. The hosts did an excellent job of supplying needs and making sure the home was inviting and ready for our stay. The check in process was easy to use and access. The walk to the beach was only a few steps away and made it easy to spend time there whenever. 5 Stars!

The owners have thought of every detail - toiletries in the bathrooms, and AMAZING well appointed kitchen with everything you could ever need, beautiful decor and comfortable furniture. I especially enjoyed the large table that we could all sit around to enjoy our meals together, that was a rare treat!
The beach access is about 2 houses down, and the area is actually a fairly quiet street, which was very nice compared to the noise and traffic further in Lincoln City.
We were lucky enough to have some much warmer than normal weather (89 degrees on the Oregon Coast?? What??) so the house did get pretty warm, but being able to see the sunset like that was unforgettable.
The owners were very responsive, both before and during our visit - even allowing late checkout since we just didn't want to leave! They even welcome us with a gift basket full of yummy treats, what a nice touch!
We will most definitely be back, and looking to expand our group and book the house next door at the same time. Thanks again for such a great place to make memories with my family.

Fantastic experience
We had a great time creating memories on this vacation. I will start with the fact that the pictures of the property did not due the house justice. This property was perfect for our multi-family vacation with so much to do. The stretch of beach was fantastic and it was only a few steps away from the house. We all enjoyed the views of the beach and sunset from the living and dinning rooms. The house is in a great location to explore the Oregon coast. One last thing to mention was that we really appreciate Chrissy and all her help. She was fantastic and made the whole experience even better. I would defiantly stay there again and would recommend it to anyone.
