This place was just what we needed for 3 families. Had rooms/space and activities to handle the different kids ages of each family.
Was a short walk to the beach or the playground.

Hope's Haven had all the facilities needed to make our weekend away comfortable, memorable and fun. The outdoor playroom entertained the kids (and also the big kids!) for hours. The backyard was well kept and had a great outdoor seating area to enjoy BBQ meals. Only 1min drive to the beach and you hear the waves from the beach at night and you can also see the beach from top balcony. The family appreciated all the little touches around the house to make us feel at home. It was such a clean, lovely and inviting place. Thank you, Freda.

Had a positive experience staying at this house. It had nice facilities, was in a great spot, and was exactly what it said on the listing. Slight drawback was one of the kitchen drawers had some ants and some of the utensils were dirty and we had to buy washing up liquid, but other than that was a great time.

Although it was advertised as 5 bedroom, I wouldn't consider the detached teenage retreat as a room.

This house was exactly what we were looking for. Plenty of space, ping pong and darts and close to the beach!

Loved the house, much better than the pictures and lovely host.
We loved the house, it's much better than the pictures. Also the host Freda is wonderful, always reachable, answered all my questions however trivial.
You don't need an itinerary, Freda provides a lot of information on local shopping, sightseeing etc which was very helpful.
The property is a few hundred metres away from the beach, so if there's nothing to do, there's the beach😊, and the games room of course👍.
Would definitely recommend this place. And yes, loved the sweet surprise Freda had for the kids🍫😊😅

Amazing weekend with friends.
We had a lovely time. The house is perfect and everything you need is there. The owner answers really quick and we didn't have any issue. Awesome to reunite family and friends. Definitely recommend!

Nice area
This property need abit of up grade in furniture and bed. Some bunk bed make noise and property need pest control lots of spiders inside the house also upstairs ceiling fan are not spinning good enough to get some cooling.
Also should advertise 4bedroom not 5. As the game room is quite abit humid and hot to sleep. Or use as a retreat. It is best stay as game roo. And a 4br house.
It just my opinion.

Hopes haven met all of our needs. It is in a great location and had everything we needed. The property was very clean. We stayed with one other family and the kids really enjoyed the games area and playing cricket in the backyard. Great place to stay.

This property is excellent. We had a large group and it has lots of space and separate areas for lots of people . The games room/entertaining area is fantastic. Freda and Stanley are a pleasure to deal with. Would recommend this property to anyone and in particular large groups.

Fantastic stay!
We had the most wonderful time at this property. Freda was a fabulous host and the house had all that you could want. The location was fantastic with the beach only a couple of minutes walk away. We would definitely stay again! Thanks so much!!

This house is great for large groups or families and is only a short walk from the beach and cafes. The property was very clean and well maintained. Communication with the owners was excellent. I would definitely rent this property again. I would say though, I think there should be wifi on the property as phone data reception is quite poor, so streaming music can be a little bit difficult. Other than that the place was brilliant, and I would highly recommend.

Very thoughtful host!
The property was brilliantly furnished with everything we needed for a fun, relaxing getaway - TV, well-stocked games room and kitchen, multiple bathrooms, and plenty of space for different groups to hang out. Freda is a lovely host and was very informative when communicating before and during our stay. The only thing that could have improved the place (although it's made clear in the listing) is wifi and aircon, but we managed just fine without it.

Nice house, great location
It is lovely house, plenty of room both upstairs and downs including the games room and BBQ area. Nice view good location, short stroll to the water and shops, very easy access to the beach. Would not hesitate to recommend it to everyone. Loved it!

Our group has enjoyed a weekend at Hope's Haven for 3 years running now. Fantastic house and great facilities. Love the games room, right around the corner from the beach, what more could you want!

Clean and very tidy. Had all the facilities we needed. Great location.
Was great being able to bring our dogs with us. Even with some rainy days there was enough to keep us amused at the house. Would definitely come back.

Hope’s Haven was perfect for my big family
Hope’s Haven was the perfect vacation spot for my big family. Plenty of room for everyone with only a short walk to the beach.
The house was spacious, inviting, clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. There’s no aircon in the house but plenty of fans to keep you cool. The outdoor seating was perfect for breakfasts, barbecues, get togethers and a sneaky birthday celebration. The games room was enjoyed by those big and small. There’s three bathrooms so you never have to wait and two fridges to store all the food you’ll need to feed everyone.
The house was close to everything we’d need too. Woolworths and local shops 4min drive, beach a short walk away, excellent oyster and prawn farm 20min drive, and lots of fishing spots too.
The owner Freda was fantastic. She was quick to respond to any questions before our stay and was available if we needed anything during our time there.

Fantastic coast house
We had a lovely time at Hope's Haven and would highly recommend it for anyone looking to have a relaxing weekend at the coast. The house had everything we needed and more - great kitchen, big living spaces and plenty of sleeping room plus a bbq, table tennis table, games, outdoor dining area. The house is a 3 minute walk to the beach, so we could just come and go as we pleased. Overall, excellent weekend in an excellent house.

Fantastic property.
We celebrated an anniversary with our extended family at Freda's house and enjoyed every minute of it. The facilities were excellent, close to the beach and lake, pets allowed and all mod cons. The games room was enjoyed by all the grandchildren while the adults relaxed in the garden or under the porch. We would recommend this venue to anyone who would like a relaxing holiday.

Home away from home
Thank you Freda for letting us stay in your beautiful home, equipped with everything that we needed during our stay. Communication through email was smooth and easy. The house was near the beaches, fishing grounds and shops. The house is large enough to fit 3 small families. Games room and backyard was very cool! A favorite of the kids and the men who loved to chat and have a few stubbies. Thank you Freda for the complementary sweet treats of chocolates eggs and wine. You are too nice!

Great house with everything we needed
Great big comfortable house with an awesome covered outdoor area. This is where we spent most of our time. The BBQ was really good and used twice a day. There were plenty of glasses and plates for our group and a great supply of kitchen equipment available for us to use. The coffee machine was also a bonus. There were 8 of us that fitted comfortably and the dogs loved the yard and the beach that was just a short stroll up the road. We had a lovely 6 night stay over the new year period and we would be happy to stay at Hopes Haven again.
