In our first visit to the Arcachon Basin, we found this small simple cottage to fit our needs very well. It was comfortable, affordable, quiet (in a car-less vacation cottage park), well set in natural surroundings, well situated a short walk away from the water, woods and the towns of Ares & Andernos-les-Bains with their local oyster fishers and beaches. Patricia was a very helpful and gracious hostess, who gave us plenty of tips for our stay. We think that the cottage is ideal for singles, couples, also with up to two children, who are happy with a basic accomadation. For two couples we think that the cottage would be a bit of a tight squeeze. One fun highlight in our week was a 4am visit from a family of wild boars. We recommend Patricia and this cottage whole heartedly.

I had not visited the Arcachon basin since I was a child and I was wondering if it would still seem as amazing as it did when I was young. I needn't have worried. Patricia was the perfect host - meeting us outside with a smile (even though we were rather late after a long long drive) and provided us with lots of information about the property and the area. The house is located on a site with a pool, cafe and lots of other facilities. It is set in typical SW France woodland, and just a short walk from a salt water bathing pool and the Bassin d'Arcachon itself. The site is safe, friendly and welcoming. The town of Ares is friendly and accessible, and of course you are never far away from the amazing Atlantic coast, it's glorious sandy beaches and big seas. If you want a holiday in the south of France stop looking! Book this NOW.

mignonne petite maison, au calme, à l'abri des arbres, et à deux pas de l'océan. le village est entièrement piéton, les enfants peuvent jouer et se promener sans danger. L'endroit idéal pour se détendre et se ressourcer.

Très agréable séjour dans cette merveilleuse région : ballades le long du bassin, en forêt, à la Dune du Pyla. Le Cap Ferret est magnifique et nous avons visité beaucoup d'endroits sauvages. Acceuil chaleureux, maison très bien située dans un cadre naturel et calme.

Lieu de vacances très agréable : village piétonnier calme, à quelques minutes à pied du Bassin d'Arcachon ; possibilité de restauration rapide sur place ; La maison est simple mais confortable , très propre. Literie très convenable. La propriétaire a nous réservé un accueil extrêmement chaleureux ; nous avons passé , en arrière saison, une délicieuse semaine de vacances, reposante, ensoleillée. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Nous avons passer d'excellentes vacances dans cette charmante maison: cadre paisible et calme. Plage à quelques mètres avec possibilité de s'y rendre à pied. Possibilité de faire des ballades à vélo grâce aux nombreuses pistes cyclables. La propriétaire est très sympathique et nous a réservé un très bon accueil.

Endroit sympas et calme pour se ressourcer à 2 pas du bassin d'Arcachon... On a fait de nombreuses ballades,randos à pied et en vélo sur le bassin et dans les dunes à côté de l'océan. Propriétaire accueillante et sympathique... Petite maison simple et confortable! Nous sommes ravis... Nous reviendront!!!!

Nous avons passé dans cette maison d'agréables vacances en famille; elle ressemblait à un petit chalet (simple mais confortable). La propriétaire était très sympathique et nous a réservé un excellent accueil. Nous avons apprécié l'environnement boisé, au calme, en bordure du bassin d'Arcachon: ballades en forêt, plages immenses, pistes cyclables... La ville d'Andernos les Bains est à 2 km, nous y sommes allés à pied en suivant le bord du bassin; on y a trouvé de bons restaurants où nous avons dégusté poissons et huitres du bassin. Bref, on s'est régalé... Des vacances reposantes qui nous ont permis de nous ressourcer!

pas luxueux mais confortable, environnement très agréable et calme, étang d' Arcachon accessible à pied, plan d'eau pour les enfants, pistes cyclables à proximité petite ville animée avec nombreux restaurants et cinéma à proximité
