About this cottage rental
A spacious holiday home on the edge of the Devon seaside town of Salcombe, it sleeps 10 people across six bedrooms.
Batson House rests close to the wonderful seaside resort of Salcombe in South Devon. It boasts six bedrooms which include two king-size rooms with en-suites, a double, a twin and two children’s bunk bedrooms, there is also a bathroom and a shower room it can sleep 10 guests. The property also comes with a kitchen/diner leading to a utility and a cloakroom, as well as a sitting room with a woodburning stove. To the outside you will find off-road parking for four cars and a garden with lawned areas and a patio with furniture. Batson House enjoys stellar views of Batson Creek, making it a superb base for those looking to experience Devon and its natural beauty.

Town: Salcombe is a popular destination for watersports enthusiasts, walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea. There are several pretty beaches within a short distance, including North Sands and South Sands, plus the coves East Portlemouth on the opposite side of the estuary, just a short passenger ferry ride away. Also on your doorstep is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, coasteering, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe, take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking on the South West Coast path.
