The cottage was 126 years old but extremely well maintained. The hosts had lots of little touches which made the stay more pleasant and lots of memorabilia which made the stay very interesting.

Myself, husband & dog had a wondeful stay at this most gorgeous cottage in Toowoomba. Communication was the best we've had from an owner. And all the little extra details were very special. Could not rate this accommodation highly enough. We'll be back!

A beautifully presented cottage that gives a homely feel right from the moment you walk in the front door. We didn't want for anything with all living areas well equipped to make our stay comfortable and stress free. The location is ideal, situated in a quiet neighbourhood and within close proximity to the CBD and attractions.
Thank you Ange and Jeff for providing this wonderful pet friendly accommodation that can be enjoyed by all!

Its the little things that made the difference. Champagne, coffee, milk, hair dryer and straightener. Hand soap, fresh flowers and herbs. Etc etc. Everything you need is there when you first arrive. Tastefully comfortable. Quiet area. Gorgeous gardens. Great for pets. Hosts were always helpful.

I don't know if I can rate Ange and Jeff's cottage high enough. It wasn't as described though! It was so much better. The cottage is so well looked after and presented and we were surprised by Ange's little extras that made us feel more than welcome. Flowers, fresh herbs, coffee and machine, milk, and so on and so on. We felt at home. And so did our border collie, Jessie. No hesitation going out and leaving her home. She was as relaxed as we were. And the cottage is so close to everything. We are definitely coming back. A huge thank you to Ange and Jeff.

Absolutely perfect cottage that takes you back in time and melts your stresses away. Beautifully presented and surpassed all our expectations.
Bedding was so fresh and equal to any of the top hotels that I have stayed at.
Garden and flowers were stunning with sunny spots to enjoy.
Highlight was having dinner near the fire with home cooked lasagne, wine, family and our fur baby near by.
Ange & Jeff have put so much passion and charm into their beloved cottage it’s amazing.
Thank you for the wonderful experience.

A beautiful historical cottage located in Toowoomba close to the town centre and many attractions. Lots of amazing vintage curios decorating the home and a wood fire with wood supplied? Gorgeous gardens and outdoor areas with a park right behind the house. Best of all it’s fully fenced and pet friendly even for those with larger furkids. Rules of no pets on furniture or beds , understandably. Hosts have thought of everything, so many great touches. Almost an adventure in itself discovering the little touches and love the instructions. Just a few….. Pet portrait board with Instamatic camera, freshly picked herbs and lemons on the kitchen counter, coffee machine with a selection of coffee pods, Tim-tams, a bottle of wine, slippers, turntable and a selection of vinyl records, and ladies ….not only a hairdryer but also a hair straightener! Lucy my pooch loved the singing trout. Felt so at home in this beautiful cottage and we went on lots of walks around the neighbourhood admiring other pretty houses. Lovely stay in winter and so welcoming to find a fire already lit as we arrived. Thank you for making our stay so special

Toowoomba Long Weekend
Everything was perfect. Lots of personal touch’s that made us smile. Dog friendly, but very clean smell. And just one thing - the kitchen knives were sharp!! They never are in self contained accommodation, but they are here. Highly recommended, even without a dog!!

AWESOME place to unwind & chillax with your dogs
If you’re looking for a break where all the details are taken care of, and including for your pooches - Banksia is it!
Ange & Jeff, take care of everything. The house was immaculate and their attention to detail is just WOW. We arrived to find even the dog bowls were ready with fresh water. Firewood chopped. Fresh herbs and lemons in the kitchen for our use. Tim Tams to enjoy with a choice of coffee and let’s not forget the dog biscuits.
Beds are super comfy and all linens crisp and clean.
Access to Wifi, Netflix (TV’s in the lounge and both bedrooms). Great shower pressure. Our favourite was drinks on the porch.
So pack your clothes, add food and drinks, and book your stay.
An awesome place to unwind and chillax…

Perfect comfort
Banskia Cottage is beautifully designed for comfort while away from home. A mix of vintage/heritage with modern conveniences set in beautiful garden areas. Everything needed is supplied, including staples in the kitchen. Secure back area kept our dog secure and content while we were away. Location gave easy access to what we needed in Toowoomba. Communication with Anita was easy and we were well prepared for arrival. We hope to revisit.

Jeff & Ange have thought of everything
We had our first getaway since Covid to see the Carnival of the Flowers with our much loved dog Frank. First time away with our pooch. Jeff and Ange have thought of absolutely everything to make this cottage so cosy and welcoming. We fell in love with how they presented the home. If you are wanting to stay with your pooch you have to stay here. Thank you so much for making our short getaway so special. The benchmark is set for anywhere else we stay Diz! A dreamy yesteryears Australian Cottage
Just an amazing antique Australian Cottage with a twist of the contemporary. The Australian cottage garden was a delight to walk in with such a variety of green and flowering plants dotted with bird baths and statues throughout. Our little fur boy just loved exploring around. We over did the fire combustion heater and totally lazed around it. Everything was just so easy and also pleasant walking around and viewing turn of the century houses, with cafes close by. Listening to critters of the night was also exciting . I could go on but words cannot describe our pleasure of this quaint vintage surroundings. Craigm

Amazing little cottage and lovely owners
Our stay at the cottage was so wonderful. We stayed there over our wedding in March. From the time we booked with Ange and Jeff, then had to postpone due to covid, and how helpful and flexible they were throughout the whole process, it was such a great experience. Ange and Jeff went above and beyond to accomodate us, and we are so grateful. The cottage is so beautiful in a quiet street. Even more beautiful and quaint than the photos show! The stunning garden is fully fenced and dog friendly. Our two little girls loved exploring the bushes. We would absolutely recommend this place.
