Constructed of solid wood and built on a mountainside exposed south-south-west to 900 meters.
We just remove it to do good, disconnect, relax and take time to observe nature around us.

Beautiful and very cozy house. Sadly we had terrible weather, but other than that we had a great time here!

We were a group of 9 motorcyclists staying 7 nights in this wonderful lodge.
Riding trips from this lodge arround the region and coming "home" was a delight, great showers and a sauna after a longs days ride, eating all together at the barbeque or with a home made meal in the kitchen on the outside terras with the sun setting.
Some of us had a resting day from riding and even then the lodge was great, lots of room to have your "own space"
All the bathrooms were great, nice and clean.
When keeping the shutters on the windows closed the lodge was still nice and cool even when the outside temps were reaching 25-30 degree`s
The road to the accomodation is quite steep and walking down/up is a challenge but do-able if you like walking.

Erg mooi verblijf!
Erg mooi verblijf voor een weekje Vogezen. Het chalet ligt op een mooie locatie op 2/3e van een erg steile klim, dat levert een zeer mooi uitzicht op vanaf het ruime balkon. Het chalet zelf is van alle gemakken voorzien, iets langere bedden voor de lange Nederlander zou geen overbodige luxe zijn.
Boeken via vrbo soepel, de eigenaar van het chalet zelf is wat minder sterk in de communicatie (alle documentatie alleen in het Frans beschikbaar en maakt kleine rekenfoutjes in de eindafrekening). De eigenaar maakt dan wel weer gebruik van een erg servicegericht conciergebedrijf dat uitstekend communiceert

Havde et fantastisk ophold. At sidde på terrassen og se ud over dalen, byen, søen. Det var så dejligt. Huset har en rigtig god rumfordeling. Billederne fra annoncen giver en realistisk fornemmelse af huset.

Perfekte Wintertage
Das Chalet von Delphine in Gerardmér ist einfach zauberhaft. Hoch oben am Berg mit grandioser Aussicht über den Ort und den See liegt das Haus fast ohne Nachbar. Wir brauchten Schneeketten, für die hauseigene Auffahrt, aber darauf wurden wir vor der Reise bereits hingewiesen, so dass sich keinerlei Probleme für uns ergaben. Das Chalet selbst ist großzügig, die Betten sind gemütlich, die Küche perfekt ausgestatten und die drei Bäder mit der Sauna machen es fast zu einem kleinen Wellnessresort. Wir haben uns wunderbar erhohlt, die Abende am Kamin ausklingen lassen und für die Teens gab es französische Comics zum Lernen der fremden Sprache. Wir kommen jederzeit gerne wieder und wurden auch vom Concierge-Service vor Ort liebevoll betreut und alle Fragen konnten sofort geklärt werden. Vielen Dank für eine tolle Urlaubswoche!

Magnifique chalet montagnard - situation exceptionnelle
Chalet très confortable et douillet avec une grande pièce à vivre qui nous a permis de nous retrouver tous ensemble . Les chambres à coucher sont grandes et les lits parfaits. Nous avons profité du magnifique panorama sur le lac depuis la terrasse et fait plusieurs randonnées à partir du chalet.

Un week end sans fausse note de l’accueil jusqu’à notre départ. Nous en gardons un excellent souvenir et on espère y retourner prochainement! Wir haben mit 3 Familien einen wunderschönen Kurzurlaub (3 Nächte) im Chalet verbracht. Sehr sauber, tolle Lage, traumhafter Blick von der Terrasse über Géradmer. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Super Wochenende in traumhaftem Chalet!
Wir waren eine Gruppe von 10 Erwachsenen, trotz schlechtem Wetter hatten wir einen super Aufenthalt. Das Chalet ist geräumig, sehr schön eingerichtet und bietet alles was man benötigt. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und unkompliziert, die Dame vor Ort ebenfalls. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen! :-)

La localisation du Chalet est fantastique... Belle vue sur le Lac et la vallée , à cinq minutes en voiture des pistes de ski de la Chaume Francis et à moins de 10 minutes des commerces de la ville. Le chalet est spacieux et confortable, bien entretenu. Idéal pour séjour en famille, chacun peut avoir son espace d'intimité.

Magnifique chalet neuf, niveau de confort très élevé, à tout point de vue;
Le point fort est la situation : on domine un magnifique panorama sur la vallée de Gerardmer et les crêtes voisines . Très agréable Impression d'une immersion en pleine nature. Tout proche du domaine skiable alpin . Autre point positif à épingler : le service conjugué du propriétaire et du personnel chargé de l'accueil et de l'entretien est aimable, réactif et efficace.
Notre impression de sans faute justifie pleinement l'appréciation 5 étoiles.

Chalet très spacieux et très agréable
Très belle vue sur les Vosges et le lac de Gerardmer, au calme, tout en étant proche de la ville. La terasse est très plaisante. La pièce de vie centrale, conjuguant cuisine, salle à manger et salon est tres pratique; nous y avons passe tout notre temps. Deux fois que nous y venons une fois en été et une fois en hiver avec notre petite fille. Avec plaisir que nous y retournerons.

Superbe chalet, confortable et agréable, offrant une très belle vue depuis la terrasse. L'aménagement soigné permet beaucoup de convivialité : de grandes tables pour déjeuner à l'intérieur et sur la terrasse. Il est proche du centre et des lacs, ce qui facilite le ravitaillement et les activités.

Perfect Chalet with beautiful panorama view for relaxing days
We spent a few days at this chalet with a group of 10 people. The chalet is very easy to reach by car and is situated just above a beautiful lake. We were friendly greeted by Catherine who showed us the whole chalet. The BBQ on the big terrace, the sauna, billiard table and the very well equipped kitchen (Fondue, Racette, Orange juide press etc.) along with the panoramic view were our highlights. Of course everything was very tidy and new. Supermarkets are easy to reach by car.
During the day we went for some hikes to explore the area as the lake was still a bit cold.
We can recommend this to anyone looking for some relaxing days with outdoor activities and surely had a great time!
Only proposal we have: It would be nice to have basic kitchen utilities like dish soap, tabs for the dish washer etc. available since we had to buy all of these for only 2-3 uses of the machines etc.

Dieses tolle Chalet besticht neben hochwertiger Ausstattung und exzellenter Lage mit fantastischem Blick über Geradmer und die Berge vor allem auch durch seine sehr stimmige, stilvolle Einrichtung.
Der Kontakt mit dem Hausverwalter vor Ort und den Eigentümern war unkompliziert und stets sehr freundlich.
Insgesamt eine super Grundlage für ein paar erholsame Tage.

A l'unanimité ( nous étions 10 ): une adresse à garder précieusement!! ....Le chalet est magnifique, la déco vraiment sympa, les matériaux de qualité; la maison est très bien pensée, fonctionnelle... ( assez rare..! ) …et, en plus, vraiment très propre! Une terrasse bien orientée..., bien équipée ( transats et BBQ)...Que du bonheur!
Un environnement agréable, vue sur les forêts et le lac , calme, pas de vis--à-vis, ...la forêt toute proche à pied pour les balades....
Pour nos séjours en grand groupe, vraiment l'adresse idéale!
