We had an amazing time in this flat, the owner is super kind and always supportive. We loved the evenings in the cosy jacuzzi and enjoyed our stay to the fullest. The restaurant Goyet is around the corner and its definitely worth a visit.
We can truly recommend this place.

This was our first trip to Paradiski. We're a British/American couple and went with our thirty-something son and his wife and a couple of their friends. After reading so many articles and reviews describing Villaroger as "the dark side" and the red-headed stepchild of Les Arcs, we were pleasantly surprised to learn that it's just the opposite: the best-kept secret and hidden gem if the area.
For starters, unlike the plasticized, corporatized, artificial, and manufactured feel of the 1600-2000 developments, Villaroger is an authentic French Alpine village that you reach along winding mountain roads through pristine forests shot through with crystalline waterfalls and stunning views. The village has an organic feel, with small houses surrounding a lovely town square with an old church and bell tower in the middle. The family-owned, authentically French restaurant, Le Goyet, in the heart of the village, would be worth the trip all by itself. By all means eat dinner here at least once during your stay (try the lamb and the French onion soup), and order your croissants to be picked up here fresh every morning.
The chalet itself was charming and homey, with lovely little appointments everywhere, knotty-pibe paneling, quality, comfortable furnishings, and a fully equipped kitchen with two refrigerators. The showers were hot and the wifi was super fast. The hi-def large-screen TV in the living room was brilliant. Six of us fit around the comfy couches to watch a movie one night on Amazon Prime Video, with Netflix, YouTube, and other services available.
The skiing was right at our doorstep and easy to access. The first lift up is free and the run down from there enough to challenge a beginning skier. Go up one lift higher (you'll need a ski pass), and you can do quite a lot of skiing on some lovely forested blue and red trails.
Advanced skiiers will want to take the third lift up, which connects you to the 2000, 1800, 1600, and Villandry runs. Here you will encounter fewer trees, crowded runs and lift lines that will make you grateful for your little forested Shangrila at Villaroger, but there are some beautiful runs here as well--notably Le Foret (the forest) run that skiiers of all ages and abilities will adore.
To be fair, my wife, who is still a snowplow skiiers, was a bit disappointed that there were no super-easy green runs accessible from Villaroger, but that was the only negative point of an otherwise fabulous week. Thank you!

Gezellige, ruime woning.

We were charmed by both the Chalet and the Village of Le Pre, The short 2 min walk to the chairlift ( access to Les Arcs) was obviously a huge convenience but when not skiing we had everything we needed in the Chalet and the separately accessed huge games room ( table tennis, table football, darts.. ). We will be returning.
