About this villa rental
Provencal house of about 160-m², peaceful, air-conditioned, on a single level, and fully renovated in 2016. It has 3 bedrooms from 15 to 25-m², each has its own bathroom with a toilet and shower. The house has several terraces, a private 8 x 4 m swimming pool, a 3400-m² landscaped terraced garden, table football, a Ping-Pong table, and an electric barbecue and griddle. It features a fully equipped kitchen: dishwasher, washing machine, and microwave. It is the ideal starting point to visit all of Provence. It is very central and surrounded by many nearby places of interest (Villecroze, Sillans-la-Cascade, Tourtour, Lorgues) and all of Provence is reachable in a day trip. It is between the sea (Sainte-Maxime at 51 km) and Gorges du Verdon (30 km). It has an unobstructed panoramic view. It features terraces, an electric grill, and a boules court (balls available). It is 900 m from Villecroze village with its 17 springs, a unique park with ancient historical caves and a 35 m waterfall, and the village square with its plane trees and a bowling green. It is an old village with authentic alleyways and water fountains, restaurants, bar and café. The area is surrounded by authentic and charming villages and is ideally located between Marseille and Nice (about 1 h), which were selected for UEFA 2016. The villa is accessible for people with reduced mobility: all rooms are on a single level and to enter or exit the house, there is no need to use the stairs. The swimming pool is also easy to access. Big parking for 5 cars available.

A great stay.
Would recommend a visit to the local vinyard where there is wine tasting and also a hike through the vines and surrounding hills. A trip to the Gorges du Verdon is also a must with the option booking an electric boat for a couple of hours.
For a shopping trip, CAP3000 in Nice is worthwhile with over 100 shops and restaurants.
The property was great. We arrived just after a big storm, so the pool was quite sandy, but it improved throughout our stay with the help of the pool robot. David was also on hand if we needed any help.

Comfortable villa in one of the most beautiful regions of France.

Great place with everything you need. There were only the two of us and we really enjoyed our stay. It would be a great place for a young family. It has large yard for children to explore, a pool and games. The appliances are new and there is air conditioning., something which we did not find in our month’s tour of France. The village was so quaint and the restaurants in the village center were great. So glad we chose to stay there.

Perfect for a good holiday. Nice house with lots of space, well equipped, located in quiet surroundings and yet close to the city. 3 bedrooms with bath/wc, there is plenty of room for many. The lovely pool is perfect for both children and adults, but there are also opportunities for fun joint activities such as boules, table football and table tennis.
The host Are very nice and the poolman comes regularly to ensure that the pool and other things work optimally.
We can highly recommend renting this House and will definitely come back for a holiday another time.
5 stars is not quite enough :)

Very nice villa, situated in a beautiful surroundings, absolute privacy, complete furnished. There were really no points that could result in a negative comment. Highly recommended.

A very nicely equipped and maintained house close to Villecroze in the Var. Excellent value for money and as all of the bedrooms are en-suite, perfect for groups of friends and families. Lovely garden and pool to relax in during the hot afternoons. Thank you David!

Great villa in a nice location. The house itself is very modern and good looking and clean. It has a great kitchen, bar and TV area. We loved the pool area and the bbq area which provides nice shade too. Driving distance to the beach and Verdon gorge with great sight seeing.
Checking in and out went smoothly and we enjoyed the quick communication from David. He reacted quickly when we had a powercut overnight and he helped us out quickly.
The only minor thing was that we were notified in the evening that some gardeners were coming the next day to maintain the garden. These type of maintenance things should be carried out when nobody is renting the villa, since we paid for the day but couldn't really use the garden/pool area since gardeners were busy doing maintenance.

we stayed here for the 3rd time. The House is still in pretty good condition and David is taking care of it. During our stay we enjoyed the nice & warm weather and we loved hanging around at the quiet pool area.
We booked the house spontaneously just severel days before our first vacation day and it wasn't a problem. For our belongings everything is close by car (supermarkets, bakery).
It won't be the last stay!

We have really enjoyed our stay in David's villa in VIllecroze. The villa is very nice, well maintained and very spacious. The pool is a lovely gem and great to relax and cool down. The owner is very friendly and contacted us in advance of our trip to give us detailed guidance on how to reach the villa. Upon arrival he provided instructions on all equipment so all-in-all a very positive experience and we cannot do anything else as recommend this villa. Unfortunately, due to a family emergency, we had to leave earlier than expected and David was a great help in making our departure quick and smooth, which was very much appreciated by us!

This year we had booked again the nice house from David for 8 nights. House and Pool are in very good condition and we found everything what we need. David response very quick for organisational things for the house booking process. It will not be the last time here.....

The property is very modern, clean, bright and airy. It is equipped with absolutely everything you could possibly need, right down to spare swimming goggles in the drawer! The pool itself is lovely, and big enough for a family to have a lot of fun. Justin, who manages the property, was delightful and really helpful at sorting out any issues that arose. The property is just outside Villecroze itself, and you can't really walk into the village as part of the way is next to a busy road with no footpath. The villa is also down a narrow track, which was challenging with our big family car, but we mastered it very easily. Villecroze itself is absolutely delightful; the bakery sells fresh croissants and baguettes, there are a couple of Cafe/restaurants overlooking the main square (where you can play boules), and the old town is idyllic. We highly recommend Le Salon Du The in the old town for morning coffee and croissants, and the Domaine de Saint Jean at Villecroze for it's wine tasting! It was about an hour to Le Gorges du Verdun, which was stunning, about an hour and a half to Sainte Maxime, where we caught the Green Boat to St Tropez for the day. All in all, a beautiful, relaxing place to stay, with good local amenities, and lots to do in the surrounding area!

Lovely villa and beautiful surroundings and location. Would definitely recommend visit to the nearby reservoir and gauge as it is stunning. We walked to villecroze for an evening meal approx 20min walk and the restaurants were lovely and it is a special village-if you do decide to walk take torches or ensure phones are charged fully (to use as torches) as its very dark on the walk home! Gardens were quite untidy and could do with a good sorting out and outside was a little like a building site round the back but it didnt effect our stay. Contracts that David insisted on was a little confusing as was in French. He did send translation but I still had to sign the French version so felt it was pointless as I signed a document that may or may not have been altered. Was a little disappointed that there is a final cleaning fee of €70 which I felt was a very steep and if required should be included in the total cost when booking. We decided to clean ourselves which took approx 2hours but we only used one bedroom. Overall lovely place to stay but felt a little cheated by cleaning cost and garden.Sounds a little negative but overall we had a great week and would return!

The house seemed like a brand new and was very well equipped.
Renovated with good taste it also had a cool atmosphere because of a working air conditioning. The place was very sunny, so the pool was very appreciated. David (the owner) was very nice host and spoke fluent english and he also gave us many good tips where to visit in Var region.
Within 30 km there's a lot to see and many good restaurants.
No wonder we had a nice and relaxing holiday.
