Terrible apartment. Photos did not reflect the property and furniture accurately. Location was poor, entry was dark and cramped and generally felt unsafe. Beds dipped badly in the middle, side of bed frame (fake leather) was completely ripped. Holes in walls, doors, cupboard hanging off or complete off in kitchen. Rusted cabinet in bathrooms with exposed pipes. Broken showers. Lounge and dining furniture differed to photo. Only one couch when should have been 2. Poor condition of furniture. Heating didn't work and hot water was only luke warm and not hot enough for showers. We felt very unsafe here and ended up leaving. The owner or Vrbo are not interested in compensating me for having to find additional accommodation. Do not trust these photos published, it's a horrible place. Something like a motel ftom pyscho. Disgusting and so disappointed with Vrbo for allowing this and not supporting the payer. Do not stay here!

This property is a bit more worn than the photo's show. However, the key issue for us when we arrived was a very string mildew smell. We bought scented candles and air spray. But didn't help. After one night, we realized we couldn't stay. I called the owner multiple times. It was very hard to make contact. On the one occasion I did reach and speak to him, he was very nice and polite. When I told him we were leaving and confirmed that he would give us a refund, he confirmed he would do so. He said he would follow up with me. I didn't hear back from and he was unresponsive to multiple emails and calls. I have now had to raise the matter with my credit card company. I am still hopeful the owner will be honoring his commitment without it becoming too difficult. If he does handle it, then (assuming the mildew smell is addressed) it's a fine property (and I will update my review!). Again, a bit worn but overall clean and tidy and well located.

All very clean. The free wifi was very useful. The lift meant we didn't have flights of stairs to climb with suitcases. Just a short walk to the embankment to let a small boy run off steam!! I would stay there again.

Good central location.
We have just come back from a short break in London at this apartment. Ideal for a family as there are 2 bathrooms, both with a bath. The flat was well stocked and the furniture was modern and neat. Schlaflose Nächte wegen Verkehrslärm durch die ganze Nacht sind garantiert
(1) Das "Penthouse Appartment" ist in einem älteren Gebäude gelegen. Beide Schlafzimmer sind zur Straßenseite und haben keine modernen, schalldichten Fenster. Die Straße wurde die ganze Nacht von Autos & LKWs befahren - selbst um 3 oder 4 Uhr nachts keine 2 Minuten ohne Lärm von einem Fahrzeug - ebenso immer wieder Sirenen von Polizei- und/oder Krankenwagen die durch die Straße rasten. Es war für uns und unsere Kinder (Teenager) unmöglich zu schlafen. Ich bin u.a. beruflich seit über 20 Jahren weltweit viel gereist und habe so etwas noch nicht erlebt ...
(2) Die Wohnung war abgewohnt und bedarf einer dringenden Renovierung (z.B. Sofa war verschlissen; der Sofatisch notdürftig an den Füßen repariert, Bettenlatten waren durch )
(3) Die Küche und deren Ausstattung entsprach den Bildern ; das Bad war aber handwerklich miserabel ausgeführt.
(4) Zubehör wie Bügeleisen, Haartrockner usw. war vorhanden
