Very cosy and comfortable with all the accessories and appliances everyone might need.
A bit noisy downstairs, which plays live music till very late.

The property is cozy and quiet and beautiful! We had such a lovely time here, excellent transport links to NYC but out of the way for some peace in lovely Brooklyn. Loads of local eateries and conveniences!
It was a little bit too warm but that really wasn’t a bother

quaint
the property stated air conditioning but there was none! this was not acceptable.
no air conditioning property meant that the property was stifling hot.
windows did not open at the front of the property and had to be wedged up by a brick.
2 flights of very steep unstable staircases up to property.
property next to/ over the top of a jazz bar which played music and had people sitting outside until past closing time at 2.30am.
It was noisy, lively and raucous- we did not get any sleep.
the property needs complete update.
the towels were awful , hardly any and really small.
we worried about fire safety all the time we were at this property.

The location was great - close to Prospect Park and transit! The kitchen was well-stocked and overall the apartment was comfortable.
The windows couldn't open, the air conditioning wasn't set up yet (maybe too early in the season, but the weather definitely required it), and the bedroom fan didn't work.

Location was great. Near Barclays, Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn Botanic Garden, many restaurants, public transport. Seemed like a safe area for two women. Very well set up kitchen with everything you could possibly need if you wanted to cook anything, including a gourmet dinner! A Keurig coffee maker and a French press. A huge coffee selection was available. Apartment was very clean. When I asked beforehand for extra towels & bedding for my friend, they were provided. We were able to get the earlier check in that we requested.
Only 3 issues: Major problem was 2 steep flights of stairs which I had trouble with since I have asthma and a bad back. Owner did not spell that out, but did say aptmnt was on top floor. A very noisy nightclub shared a wall with the aptmnt. I could not hear it in the bedroom, but it did bother my friend who slept on the couch in the living room. However, she used earplugs later & it solved the problem. Other issue is that being on 4th floor with large windows, it was hot due to so much sunlight, even though heat wasn't on. We called owner but AC isn't turned on until July. It was 40 at night, but still hot. We were told not to open windows. There was a ceiling fan in bedroom which helped. A couple of box fans would cool you off and help mask the noise.

Perfect location in Prospect Park and near metro stations, great restaurants right around the corner. Well worth the money.
I was travelling with 2 suitcases and getting them up two flights of very narrow stairs was somewhat hard. Also, there is a music club downstairs... which was fine until Sunday's amateur night, thankfully they stopped playing before midnight.

The apartment is in the perfect spot. Just 20 mins or so and you are in Times Square. The apartment is quiet and well stocked. There are plenty of places to eat out or buy groceries should you want to cook. So pleased we discovered this apartment. We will be back.
Few stairs up but not a complaint.

I am a Brooklyn native and there's nothing more Brooklyn than Flatbush Avenue. It was a central location right on top of the Q line and very close to the 2/3. Using the Q you could be in Manhattan in 15 minutes.
😊 Loved it all, but It is a walk up so make sure you have no ambulatory issues. I was fine with it and being up two flights meant great amounts of natural light.

cozy. Very well appointed kitchen. comfortable bed.
Lighting in bedroom could have been better (reading). Entry and stairway need a good cleaning.

Flatbush avenue is one of the metro stations, very easy to use and the entrance of the metro is 1 minute from the entrance of the appartement

great location very close to major metro lines. there’s a lot of going on the doorstep so need to travel far for night out.

I love that it was right next to the train station and a restaurant I love. The owner allowed us to check in early, which was great. There are a ton of area amenities too. I lost my head on day one down this space between the stairs and the wall, and the owner was super helpful about locating them. I was lucky enough to find them later.
The owner might want to reconsider the pics they choose to hang on the wall, especially if you have African American tenants. Stereotypical cartoon black character illustrations were on the offensive side along with the black collectibles book displayed. We did see a few bugs, but to be fair, it’s New York and no complex is completely free. Also, thy might want to make the windows easier to open. iIt was extremely hot. the heat was on, but the weather was unseasonably warm. we did have a ceiling fan and cold showers helped. oh, and there’s a bar next door. late night it had bouncers that kind of blocked our entry. They did move if you asked. The music was loud, but you couldn’t really hear it much. finally, two floor walk up. it wasn’t fun.

The accommodations were good
The base from the downstairs club came up to the 4th floor, and the noise went on into the night. We were hot and couldn’t open the bedroom window. The overhead fan only turned on with the bright overhead bedroom light. We opened the living room windows a bit, and the noise from the club was even louder.

Great location, easy check in and check out process. Clean, cozy.
It’s cozy but not cramped; great for two people, but probably not any more.

It was cute and quaint
I didn't like that it was not told to me that it was overtop a club, there was a million steps we had to climb with all our luggage and the management did not respond to a concern I asked her about. Also, its a 3 night minimum that I did not know about and they automatically billed me.

What a charming little apartment. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by the great location within Brooklyn, the comfortable bed and the cold AC.
Everything was functional but there are a few little broken items like a crack in the mirror in the bedroom and a tricky shower faucet that could be fixed
5.0
The apartment is very well equipped (yay for the coffee machine). Plenty of towels and kitchen utensils, even soap. Cheerful, eclectic decor — clearly a lot of thought and heart put into it. AC was a lifesaver. Owner was very responsive. I’m hard to impress when it comes to cleanliness, but this place was very clean, even for my standards. Location cannot be beat (2 min walk to the subway, plenty of places to eat, pharmacy, groceries, etc.). I would stay again.

I couldn't imagine a better place for our visit to New York. The subway 's around the corner, Manhattan not far. The neighborhood is beautiful. The apartment itself is cozy and equipped with absolutely everything one needs. And all this for a good price. Simply perfect!
