About this house rental

This is a lovely little house set in an old fisherman's house. It is beautifully renovated combining traditional charm and modern comfort. With a 5-star rating, the house offers upscale equipment, as well a stunning sea view from the spacious terrace. There are 2 bedrooms, one of which has a double bed, while the other has a single bed. On the mezzanine, you will find is a children's area and small nooks that will amuse the kids. You will also find a bathroom with a bathtub. The toilet is separate. The balcony is fully equipped with a laundry room with a dishwasher, washing machine, and much more. The living room and the master bedroom boast superb sea views. The children’s bedroom opens onto a lovely, Collioure-typical, pedestrian street. Air conditioning is available, as well as private parking. The house lies in a quiet neighbourhood. It is a 5-min walk from the town centre, restaurants, shops, and beaches. This lovely hideaway will help you relax and spend a peaceful holiday, either with your significant other or with your children. We rent our property to 2 adults and 2 children maximum. The soul that inhabits this house will erase the notion of time, and will make you feel like you are living in another dimension. Originally from Collioure, the owner is always happy to host new guests and will be able to give you advice on restaurants or emblematic places to visit. Caranque Street is probably the best place in all of Collioure. Le Mouret is one of the oldest districts of the town, and was inhabited by Derain and Matisse, pioneers of fauvism, a painting movement. This district boasts many fisherman's houses that are suspended on the cliff and passed on for generations in Catalan families. This type of house is a testament of the town's history. The large, stone constructions located in the historical centre of the town lie by the 11th century barrack, and face the sea and the medieval church. The pedestrian street, located 50 m from the fine, sandy and pebbly beaches, is beyond peaceful, as the only thing you can hear is the noise made by the waves. Available for an additional fee: Catalan fishing boat, for €300/day (see picture).

Charming, small cottage is well appointed making cooking in and enjoying dinner on the terrace easy. Being 6’3”, the bathroom was really tight. Having a dedicated parking space was a huge plus. We did have neighbors on the terrace below, but fortunately, they were quiet. The location allowed for watching sunrise on the ocean, and everything was an easy walk to get to. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Es war alles wie beschrieben. Sehr netter Empfang und Schlüsselübergabe durch Jean Paul, der ein wirklich sehr netter Mann ist. Das Häuschen winzig mit einer phantastischen Terrasse. Überhaupt ist die Lage toll, denn in Fussentfernung gibt es alles, was man so braucht einschl. der Strände (wir empfehlen den Strand am Glockenturm ist kleiner Stand Bar) Auch ist es absolut ruhig. Kleine Abstriche: Erster Stock nicht nur nicht zu benutzen, aber man sieht an den Fusspuren im Staub, dass auch schon lange niemand mehr oben war. Duschwanne mit gefährlichem hohem Einstieg, es fehlen Gläser, Kühlschrank klein und das Niveau des Equipments (fransige Handtücher, nicht passendes Bettlaken, keine Tischdecke und Sitzkissen..) passt nicht zu den über 200€ pro Tag. Mit wenigen hundert Euro wäre man dabei sich zufriedeneres Kunden zu schaffen

Sehr freundlicher Empfang durch den Eigentümer. Tolle,ruhige Lage, gute Ausstattung, sensationeller Ausblick von der großen Terrasse, alles ist klein, aber charmant und gemütlich. Collioure ist ein wunderschönes Dorf Wir haben um am Ort und in der Villa Louise rundum wohlgefühlt.

Cette location est un emplacement idéal, ou le charme et la tranquillité opèrent à merveille face à la mer. Nous aurions été déçu si nous avions pas rencontré le prioritaire des lieux. C’est une personne fort sympathique attachée aux vrai valeur des contacts humains.

Lovely small property in a beautiful location. The tv and the Wi-fi didn’t work and we received no response to our polite request to the owner / manager on this. The beds weren’t made, though the sheets were there, when we arrived at about 7pm. It’s expensive for what it is, compared to comparable apartments we’ve rented, but we had a very enjoyable holiday.

Der Urlaubsaufenthalt in Collioure (Rue de la Carranque) hat in jeder Hinsicht unsere Erwartungen erfüllt. Das kleine, feine Fischerhäuschen ist individuell und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die nicht einsehbare Terrasse mit dem traumhaften Meerblick ist das Beste. Der eigene abgesperrte Parkplatz ist in dem zur Hauptsaison leider etwas vollen Ort Gold wert. Der Strand und der Ortskern sind auf malerischen Wegen schnell zu Fuß erreichhbar. Wir danken unserem sehr sympathischen Gastgeber Jean Paul Riera für den sehr netten persönlichen Empfang!

The apartment is well equipped with beautiful decor and very clean. The views are breathtaking and the large terrace was perfect. Jean Paul was extremely kind, generous and eager to make our stay there perfect. We are eager to return as soon as possible. There is no better location in all of Collioure.

A five night mid-week stay in one of the most attractive streets in Collioure. Weather was such that we could rarely use the balcony (one of the very strong points) but the apartment was still a good base for our stay. It is small, and the upstairs area more suitable for people of 1.3m height or less: however, the description makes it clear that it is not intended for four adults and it worked fine for three of us. Storage and hanging space limited but there were plenty of ,kitchen supplies.including consumables. Had not realised in advance that this was the top two levels of a house so there were people directly below as well as on each side, - certainly no problem out of season.

It is really a beautiful apartment with a gorgeous look over the Mediterranean Sea. The Terrace is big enough for chilling and having a meal with four in the evening. The apartment occupies two adults ( and two children). The kitchen is up to date. Highlight is a grill in the Kitchenette. You will love cooking there and will not got often to the restaurants in Collioure because eating on the terrace is unbeatable. So we really enjoyed our three weeks stay at the apartment and in Collioure and hope to come back soon. Also thanks a lot to Jean- Paul for his kindness and support.

Don't hesitate to book this fantastic property. Everything about it is great - location, facilities, decor. Jean Paul is really helpful & obviously loves the place himself. We stayed for 6 nights & didn't use the car once - so much to do & see in & around Collioure.

Nous avons passé une superbe semaine dans la maison: elle est jolie, bien agencée, une vue magnifique de la terrasse. Tout était propre et fonctionnel lorsque nous sommes arrivés et nous avons été très bien accueillis par le propriétaire. L’emplacement parking est précieux. La maison est parfaitement située dans un quartier très beau et au calme. Nous reviendrons!

The balcony! As soon as we opened the front door, we were drawn outside. This oversized, well-furnished balcony overlooks the Mediterranean. The morning light transformed morning coffee. The evening light invited us to enjoy wine outside. All is as depicted in the photos, but must be experienced. The house is well-furnished and very quiet. Just a few blocks from the twice-a-week market. The center of Collioure is minutes away. So convenient to have a reserved parking space as well. We highly recommend this unique and pretty house and would return in a heartbeat.
