A beautiful place with a wonderful host. If you have any question whatsoever, Maryse will help you. The house is equipped with everything you need. A small and cosy retreat in the middle of nature.

reception by Maryse, warmly, the language was unfortunately a bit difficult at times, both for us and Maryse, but to refresh our French again, have a nice chat. Cottage was neat and fully equipped. A bit decorated from earlier times, but therefore charming. Environment as promised fantastic for walking with our 2 dogs, walking directly from the major different routes. Gérardmer very nice to stay. We also went to the highest point in the Vosges, le grand ballon.Very worth it. We enjoyed it very much and will definitely come back.

Au coeur de la nature.
Nous avons passe un tres bon sejour malgres le temps .
Le gite est parfait .il y a vraiment tout ce qu'il faut .Une cheminee tres fonctionelle qui nous a réchauffé apres les longues ballades et le ski . Merci a maryse pour son aceuil et sa gentillesse .on le conseille pour ceux qui aime le calme et la nature en etant pres des activites hivernale .

Le séjour était parfait.

La maisonnette correspond à la description.
La cheminée/poêle est un atout charme.
Le gîte est tout équipé, c'est particulièrement agréable.
La maison est située un peu à l'écart de la ville, au bout d'une route privée, il n'y a donc aucun passage de voiture.
Le grand terrain autour permet de profiter de l'extérieur.
L'endroit est magnifique. C'est un bon compromis entre calme et proximité de Gérardmer. Nous avons fait des sports d'hiver toute la semaine.
Je ne peux que recommander !

Lieu et gîte idylliques. Le gîte est très bien conçu, propre et spacieux, le feu de cheminée est hyper agréable en hiver. L'endroit est paisible et ouvre sur des sentiers de randonnées au cœur des Vosges. L'hôte est accueillante, attentionnée, disponible et discrète. Ce fut un séjour idéal pour se ressourcer.

Ferienhaus inmitten der Natur
Dieses ehemalige Nebengebäude eines Bergbauernhofes wurde mit viel Liebe zu einem wunderschönen Ferienhaus umgebaut.
Die Räumlichkeiten laden zum Wohlfühlen und Entspannen ein. Der Holzkamin strahlt eine wohlige Wärme aus und heizt im Nu das ganze Haus.
Die Aussicht in die Natur bleibt für uns unvergessen.

Petit paradis vosgien
Coup de cœur pour les Vosges !
Maryse à su nous mettre à l'aise par son chaleureux accueil et sa joie de vivre.
Nous sommes venu un week-end prolongé où nous avons eu beaucoup de neige ! L'endroit était magique, pas de barrières, des prairies, de la nature, le bruit du ruisseau en contrebas...tout ces éléments ont contribué à notre séjours fantastique. Notre chien Ramses était si heureux avec sa copine Maya.
Le deuxième jour, nous avons glisser dans le faussé avec la voiture et Maryse nous à tout de suite rassuré concernant cette situation. Elle a demandé de l'aide à son frère puis des amis à elle. Grâce à cette organisation nous avons pu continuer notre séjours et nos visites.
Nous avons apprécié le prêt des raquettes et de la luge qu'elle nous a gentillement proposé.
Les petits gâteaux de départ était délicieux.

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour avec notre chien. Le cadre est splendide et l'endroit idyllique.
Amoureux de la nature : n'hésitez pas !
Le logement est propre, fonctionnel, bien équipé. Nous avons même été accueillis avec un super bouquet de fleur.
Maryse est une hôte discrète mais présente au besoin, d'une gentillesse agréable et animée d'une envie de faire découvrir sa région.
Le soleil n'était pas avec nous mais, nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir !

Accueillis par Maryse parmi ses fleurs, elle nous a présenté le gîte parfaitement aménagé et fonctionnel.
Nous savions d'emblée que cela nous irait bien et cela a bien été le cas.
Pas de soucis pour s'approvisionner à Vagney où l'on trouve tout ce qu'il est besoin.
Les myrtilles nous attendaient, nous en avons bien profité .
Calme et verdure nous entouraient, les deux semaines passèrent bien trop vite, mais nous nous promettons d 'y revenir.

Tout a été parfait, merci! La maison est très jolie, intérieur soigné. Situation au vert et au calme, près d’un petit hameau. Convient pour un couple + 2 enfants. De l’espace pour jouer dehors. Il y a un sympathique petit ruisseau en contrebas de la propriété. Chemins départs de randonnée au pied de la maison. Propriétaire extrêmement aimable.

Maison charmante, un très bon séjour!
Petite maison bien située près de La Bresse et Gerardmer, au calme au fond d’un chemin, idéale avec 2 enfants et un chien qui peuvent s’amuser en extérieur sans problème, balades possibles à pieds depuis la maison.
Équipée comme à la maison, rien ne manquait, très bien agencée et agréable avec sa cheminée.
La propriétaire est très sympathique et discrète.

Landidylle mit kleinen Mängeln
Der Empfang durch Maryse war sehr freundlich und korrekt. Die Lage ist sehr abgeschieden, was aber für uns ideal war, da wir über Silvester mit dem Hund hier waren und keine Böllerei haben wollten: Selbst zum Jahreswechsel war es herrlich ruhig! Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es in den riesigen Supermärkten in Gerardmer und Vagney, gleich über den Berg in Sapois gibt's zudem auch einen prima Bäcker, der sogar Bier und Klopapier etc. führt.
Das Haus selbst ist einfach, aber zweckmäßig eingerichtet, alles Wichtige ist da. Wer kochen will, nimmt wie wir eigene Messer und ein paar Küchen-Basics mit, dann passt das schon. Zwei kleine Kritikpunkte: Das Haus ist 1. extrem hellhörig, wenn man wie wir Freunde da hat, muss man sich schon sehr gut kennen und mögen, da man wirklich ALLES hört … Und 2. ist der Kamin nicht ideal, er zieht nur, wenn man täglich die Asche entfernt und auch dann nicht richtig gut. Man hat eigentlich immer die Hütte voller Rauch, nach einer Woche riecht man selbst und die komplette Wäsche danach …
Ein Ärgernis war am letzten Tag, dass wir das Bettzeug bezahlen sollten, obwohl es im Angebot als inbegriffen ausgewiesen war … da wollte Madame nicht mit sich handeln lassen.
Alles in allem jedoch ein schöner Aufenthalt für Leute, die es ruhig mögen.

Despite the rain, we had a really comfy and enjoyable stay in this nice house. You have to enjoy making fires though (as we do!) to keep you warm in winter times. As far as the area is concerned: we have seen more of the Alsace than of Vosges, since the weather was slightly better there. Maybe we’ll see more of it another time!

Ein Refugium für ruhesuchende Zeitgenossen
Wir haben in Menaurupt unseren 13 tägigen Sommerurlaub verbracht. Der Empfang durch Maryse war sehr warmherzig und unkompliziert. Das Haus entspricht genau den Beschreibungen im Internet. Es ist recht gemütlich, gut ausgestattet, die Küche hat alles, was man braucht. Garten und Terrasse laden zum Ausspannen ein. Man hört nur ab und zu Fahrzeuge, die nach Rouchesson oder auf der Talstrasse am gegenüberliegenden Hang unterwegs sind. Die Umgebung ist genial für Wanderer und Radfahrer "off the beaten track". Es gibt unzählige Möglichkeiten sich auszutoben.
Für Gleitschirmflieger liegt der berühmte LeTreh/Markstein in etwa 40 Autominuten Entfernung erreichbar, ein traumhaftes Fluggebiet. Dort tummelt sich die Szene.
Maryse spricht sehr gut Deutsch und war auch gerne bereit unsere Französischkenntnisse aufzubessern.
Wir würden gerne wieder hier Urlaub machen. Es war alles in allem eine sehr schöne Zeit in Menaurupt.

Wir haben den Urlaub in dem kleinen Häuschen sehr genossen .
Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und spricht gut Deutsch- somit kann sie alles gut erklären. Der kleine Fluss nahe des Hauses war für unsere 3 jungs der Lieblingsplatz, perfekter Urlaub wenn man seine Ruhe möchte. Nicht weit weg ist der schöne See von Gerardmer und die Stadt lädt zum Bummeln ein. Würden jeder Zeit wieder dort Urlaub machen......
