About this house rental
At the heart of Cancale but away from the crowd, in a garden and fenced, you will discover a beautiful haven backed a beautiful house of character. In a comfortable and peaceful atmosphere, you will choose to explore all the strengths of our coast, and there are many, or enjoy quiet moments in the shade of a cherry tree as a parasol. We are located 2 minutes walk from the beach and coastal path that will lead you to a side port of Houle (15 mn) and the other to the tip of the Groin and even Saint Malo, if you like big and beautiful walks. The village, restaurants, bars, shops and cinema are 3 minutes away from the house. We will be happy to welcome you and advise you, if you wish, so you make the most of our beautiful region.

Our terrific hosts Kathy & Husband made us very welcome to this beautiful and stylish Gite with lovley gardens and all of the facilities required all in a great location. If we return to Cancal again we hope we are able to stay here once again.

Beautiful apartment in a great location
We highly recommend this apartment. It’s modern, spacious, tastefully decorated and in a beautiful setting. The garden (back yard) is amazing. It was one of the best apartments we’ve ever rented - it made for an excellent experience in Brittany. We enjoyed being able to easily walk into town to explore and dine. There are great trails along the water with beautiful views. Cancale is a quiet, charming little town that feels off the beaten path and this apartment added to that experience. This is a place we hope to visit again and stay for a long while.

Tolles Ferienhaus in schöner Umgebung
Wir haben ein mit viel Liebe eingerichtetes, sehr sauberes Haus in tollem Garten, der zum Verweilen einlud, vorgefunden. Die Lage in Cancale ist sehr gut. Man ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß im Ortskern und kann diekt vom Haus zu Küstenwanderungen aufbrechen. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett.

Sauberkeit, stimmige Einrichtung, Möglichkeiten im Garten, Gastfreundschaft bis hin zu guten Tips für Ausflüge- alles auf höchstem Niveau.

Séjour particulièrement agréable dans ce cocon magnifique en plein cœur de Cancale. Les hôtes d'une grande gentillesse nous ont accueilli dans leur jardin extraordinaire, le gite complètement indépendant du logis principal est décoré avec beaucoup de gout. Une adresse de charme à retenir.

nous avez vraiment apprécié notre séjour à Cancale qui est une petite ville pleine de charme et cet hébergement pour une famille de 3 à 4, très lumineux, bien aménagé et décoré avec goût, très propre, calme, à 5 mn du Centre sur les hauteurs de Cancale avec un jardin merveilleux et paisible. 3 jours ne suffirent pas !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille. Le gite est idéal pour une petite famille avec deux enfants. Il se trouve dans un quartier calme et il est entouré d’un jolie et agréable jardin. Catherine et son mari étaient très gentils avec nous. Nous recommandons ce gite fortement.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille dans cette location aménagée avec beaucoup de goût. La location se trouve à la fois à distance de marche du centre ville et du sentier des douaniers. Encore merci à nos hôtes pour l'accueil et la séance de jardinage avec les enfants.

Très chaleureusement accueillis par les propriétaires, nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce gîte de charme, décoré avec beaucoup de goût, entouré d'un magnifique jardin, dans un quartier paisible à deux pas du centre de Cancale et du sentier des douaniers.

Das Ferienhaus ist sehr gepflegt und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und hat einen schönen Außenbereich. Die Lage ist sehr zentral und dennoch ruhig, der nächste Strand ist in drei Minuten, das schöne Ortszentrum von Cancale in fünf Minuten zu erreichen. Die Besitzer, die im angrenzenden Haus leben, sind außerordentlich freundlich und bemüht, ihren Gästen einen schönen Aufenthalt zu bereiten.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Mentions spéciales pour le magnifique jardin et la décoration (avec goût) de la maison. Très bonne literie. Accueil parfait et en toute simplicité. La maison se trouve à distance de marche du bourg et de la plage (forte côte néanmoins). Nous recommandons !

Wunderschöne sehr harmonisch eingerichtete Wohnung, alles da, was man benötigt, wohlüberlegt bis ins Detail.
Der Garten ist herrlich, die Blumen farblich abgestimmt, alles sehr durchdacht und liebevoll gepflegt.
Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich, zugewandt und hilfsbereit.
Auch die Lage ist bestens. Kommen gerne noch einmal.

Idéalement placé pour se rendre dans le centre de Cancale ou pour accéder à des randonnées de bord de mer très belles.

Une excellente adresse à Cancale
Catherine et Henry sont très accueillants. Le gîte est particulièrement chaleureux. Rien ne manque. Situé dans un très joli cadre et proche de tous les commerces, du port de Cancale et des chemins de randonnées.
Nous y retournerons avec plaisir dès que l’occasion se présente.

Superbe séjour
Nous avons passé une très belle semaine dans cette maison. Nous étions 2 adultes et un bébé et la maison est très fonctionnelle, très propre et parfaitement équipée. Les propriétaires ont mis à notre disposition le matériel bébé nécessaire (lit, chaise haute, matelas à langer), ce qui était très appréciable ! Le séjour s’est très bien déroulé. La maison est dans un environnement très calme et très bien située (5 minutes à pied du centre de Cancale). Catherine et son mari sont très accueillants et aidants. Nous recommandons ce lieu, idéal pour une semaine de repos et de balades en famille !

Einfach wunderbar! Alles hat gepasst!
Wir hatten als Familie eine traumhafte Woche in Cancale in der Ferienwohnung von Cathy.
Die Wohnung war supersauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Der Garten ist wunderschön und wir saßen zu jeder Tageszeit sehr gern draußen.
Die Lage ist fast unschlagbar gut: ca. 5 min zu Fuß an einen kleinen Steinstrand zum Schwimmen und Muschelnsammeln. Mit dem Auto ca. 10 min Fahrt und man hat sehr schöne Sandstrände fast für sich allein.
Auch in die Stadtmitte von Cancale gelangt man fußläufig innerhalb von 5-10 min. Sehr zu empfehlen ist die Patisserie "Grain de Vanille". Extrem leckeres Gebäck und Süsskram.
Die Kommunikation mit Cathy und ihrem Mann war sehr unkompliziert und charmant. Sie wohnen direkt nebenan, man kann sie jederzeit etwas fragen, sie drängen sich jedoch nie auf.
Wir alle haben Cancale und diese Ferienwohnung im besonderen sehr schweren Herzens verlassen.
Cancale selbst ist ein entzückendes Kleinstädtchen, in dem man alles findet (Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Märkte, Restaurants, Lebensmittel, Wanderwege, Austern etc).

Super séjour au clos des Rimains
Le gîte est plein de charme dans un cadre magnifique (notamment le jardin) et les propriétaires Cathy et Henry sont très accueillants. Le gîte est par ailleurs très bien équipé et on s’y sent très vite chez soi. Le marché du dimanche est en face de la maison et le centre est à quelques minutes ainsi que la grève. À conseiller sans hésiter !

Excellent séjour “a real home from home”
Maison très confortable, bien équipée, au calme, proche plages, (vous aurez peut être la chance de voir des dauphins s’approcher et nager près de vous... ) et du GR34 pour randonnées pédestres, ballades du soir rafraîchissantes durant ce mois d’août. Nous avons profité d’un très beau jardin fleuri, ensoleillé. Un accueil chaleureux de Mme Caplain.

Tout c'était très bien passé. Sauf la pluie :))). Dans le même temps, c'est déjà Novembre ;). Si non, on a été très bien accueillis; mme Caplain est souriante, compréhensive et elle nous a répondu à toutes nos questions avec patience :). La maison est comme dans le descriptif; je peux même dire qu'elle est encore plus belle accueillante en réalité ;)). Les enfants ont monté à l'étage comme si c'était chez eux :)))).

Absolutely fantastic!
We loved our time at this rental and wished that we had stayed longer. The apartment is spacious and very cute, with an adorable outside garden to read in or enjoy a coffee. The apartment was incredibly clean and the kitchen well equipped for our needs. It is very close to the centre of town, where there are many delightful little shops. As luck would have it, we arrived on a Thursday when the summer market fills the streets around the centre of town. We picked up some olives, salted caramel, apple cider and a few other goodies to enjoy during our stay at the market.
Catherine was a perfect host. We will definitely be recommending this apartment as well as Cancale to other friends considering exploring this part of Brittany.

Prachtig Cancale
Van harte dank aan Catherine voor de gastvrijheid en de ontvangst. De woning is perfect ingericht voor 4 personen. Ook de ligging vlakbij het centrum van Cancale is ideaal en een supermarkt, bakker en beenhouwer. Je kan van hieruit de omgeving zowel te voet als met de fiets verkennen.
