About this apartment rental
Newly renovated, Ground Floor easy access while still enjoying spectacular 180 degree views of the Atlantic Ocean. Professionally designed with a clean comfortable modern approach by Beaufort, SC designer Janis DiFiore, The goal of the design was to communicate the casual barefoot beach atmosphere the guest experiences when renting this villa. Gutting individual rooms to allow for an open plan and open communication, slip covering the furniture and covering the floor in woodgrain tile allow for ease while achieving the desired warm look. But the most harmonious vehicle of this expression was the use of butt jointed planks of wood for the walls and keeping the spectacular view of the ocean open from all rooms. Janis chose colors and finishes that are both bright and soothing to the eye as you walk from room to room. Generous high-end finishes, including custom Quartz counter tops in the kitchen, a fireplace surround of natural imported limestone made from seashell fossils, a dining chandelier handmade and imported from Italy, custom furniture and more! You will find a perfect fusion of modern and traditional décor as demonstrated in the dining room with a 3 panel antique whale drawing watching over you as you dine on modern comfortable white/stainless custom furniture. Soaring 10’ ceilings and rich crown moldings throughout complete the look. Result; the most often repeated comments made by visitors is the overwhelming feeling of “comfortable, soothing, modern and beachy”.
Main Living Area: With walls now removed, the space is impeccably designed for entertaining. The kitchen flows to the bar and dining area which in turns flows into the living room area. The planked walls are bathed in sea-foam green reminiscent of Positano and the Italian Mediterranean. The dining area provides comfortable seating for 6 in addition to the 3 stools at the breakfast bar. I love to entertain and have outfitted the kitchen with all that is needed. New Samsung Smart TV with 3D capabilities and sound bar await your enjoyment.
Master Suite: Enjoy a soft shade of sky blue walls to gently wake you in the morning and a feature wall with custom white planking and a white leather headboard for added comfort. There is a private door to the patio, and room darkening blinds in case you want to sleep in. Sunrises are spectacular over the ocean – and you can enjoy a view of the ocean without even getting out of bed! In case you need to work, there is a desk available with solid wifi. Also in the master is a Samsung flat screen TV mounted over the desk.
Master bath: with floor-to-ceiling custom tiling, grey custom field stone slab counters, custom cabinetry and a shower fit for a king including a tiled bench seat, rain shower, hand-held and 4 body jets. Added luxury of motion sensor lighting beneath natural onyx to softly glow upon entering the room in the middle of the night. 2 closets with luggage racks and plenty of hangers. Special bonus – you can enjoy a view of the ocean from inside the master shower!
Guest Suite: Has its own bathroom that is accessible directly from the guest bedroom or from the main living area. The bedroom has two twin beds and is decorated in warm tones featuring the turtles that reside on the Turtle Dunes property and has a flat screen TV mounted on the wall. The guest bedroom décor includes both modern and old with a very modern chair and antique boat oars on the wall. The guest bath has floor-to-ceiling tile in pretty beige tones with accents. There is custom cabinetry and quartz countertops at the sink. The tub area was redesigned for your comfort, to allow for starting your bath on one side that has easy access to the controls before stepping under the shower. There is also an easy access hand shower for convenience when bathing children.
Sofa Bed: A Queen bed is hidden beneath the living room sofa cushions. Linens provided. There is a room darkening shade on the living room sliding doors when this area is used for sleeping.
Laundry is equipped with new Full Size Samsung Washer & Dryer, a full size ironing board and quality iron. This is one of my favorite additions! To allow for more hot water when guests arrive from the beach for showers, I moved plumbing and found a creative location to add a new larger hot water heater.
Many extra touches are available for our guests to enjoy including board games and movie videos for all age groups, champagne glasses and special cooking/entertaining pieces. A blow dryer is provided in each bathroom. Plenty of towels and pillows for everyone. Internet and cable TV provided.
The patio is spacious and reasonably private on both sides with lounge style furniture and the best view of the ocean!
Area amenities: With this rental, guests enjoy access to the beautiful and spacious Turtle Dunes pool, and miles of amazing Florida beach… just STEPS AWAY! Also available are the Dunes Club tennis courts, walking and biking trails, spa, shops, and many great dining options at the Omni resort. Golf is available on Ocean Links and Oak Marsh courses. Bike and golf cart rentals also available and even segway tours! The biking trails have been extended and enhanced and are truly an amazing experience.

Very cute and well appointed beach condo!

The property is lovely. Well decorated, stocked with needed items, and great location. You can see the ocean from the bed in the main bedroom as well as from the kitchen and living area. Easy access to the beach and pool. Nice patio area, partially covered. Two challenges: the main bed is very hard (if you like a softer mattress, consider bringing a mattress topper) and there is no phone service inside the villa--you have the "SOS" only service (if you need to have phone service for work or family then investigate possible remedies before your visit). Other than those two challenges, the place is just as described and we had a wonderful visit.

What a beautiful, clean ( to our high standards) condo and special gift of a bottle of Sea Glass wine upon entering! My parents owned 1801 over 20 years ago before buying a home on Beachwalker Road. They have since gone to heaven, but generations of family keep returning to nostalgic Amelia Island. We loved the view from master bedroom and easy beach access. Thank you maintaining such a wonderful home!

Wonderful location!
This property is in the perfect location. You just walk out the back patio and are steps away from the boardwalk to the beach and the pool. Such a beautifully decorated and lovely home. We fit 6 comfortably by pulling out the sofa couch each night. There were plenty of chairs and beach/pool toys in the big storage container on the back patio. Our family of 6 had a great time and would love to come back.

Family vacation
The location was perfect!! And the accommodations were great! The only issue was an odd smell in the unit, that clung to our clothes, even the ones that remained in our suitcases. Other than that - it was perfect!

Amelia Island
We stayed her the last week of February/early March 2022. All communication was emailed to us to check in. Upon entering, the condo was very clean. After traveling around Florida for 3 weeks prior and staying at other VRBO properties, this was by far the nicest. The kitchen was large and plenty of cooking pieces to use. The owner even left us a bottle of wine as a welcome present. Both bathrooms were very clean too. The view out the large sliding glass door (and master bedroom) took you right to the ocean. Lovely view. I have to say, the only down side was the internet was very slow and at times, didn't work at all. When we contacted the rental agency, she said "the internet is slow at the south end of the island." Maybe a new router would help. Our friends live just a few houses down and he has great internet. It just made it hard for my husband to work.
But, I did love staying in this beautiful condo. I even liked the ground floor location. Thanks for a lovely week!

Not enough information from owner.
We had a very difficult time locating the address of the property. Rather than giving us a street address our navigation system could find, we had only a unit number. We had to finally ask a resident for help.
The TV system was very inadequate and needed updating. I had to call the maintenance number and have someone come out and bring a new remote. The instructions to use the system were also inadequate.
The HVAC was on cool, and the temp was in the 50’s when we arrived. My husband spent a long while trying to figure out how to switch to heat. A few instructions for the system would have been nice.
Otherwise, the property was nice.

Excellent proximity to the beach and pool
This condo is a 30 second walk to the beach and the pool, which was perfect for me and my family because that is all we did while at Fernandina. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen is pretty well equipped. The dining room table is rather large for the space and makes the condo feel smaller than it is. It was not the owner's fault, but the housekeeping was not up to par. Overall, this is a very nice spot.

Almost 5 Stars
Overall, we had a great stay! The location and space were awesome! We were traveling with our 1-year-old and our baby monitor hooks up to wifi. It was very slow and worked intermittently :(. The photos show a lounge chair that wasn't there. Outdoor furniture actually went into our decision to rent this property so it's absence was a disappointment. Despite these two things, we would likely return.

So glad we chose Christine's little piece of paradise for our getaway. It was our first time in Amelia Island but definitely not our last. The condo was cozy and inviting and steps from the beach and the pool! The master bedroom bed was very comfortable and we woke up every day to beautiful views of the sunrise. We did a lot of exploring and wanted to share a few faves for future guests to this great condo.- Our visit to Drummond Point and Amelia Island State Park-Fave restaurants: Salt at the Ritz Carlton (pricey but worth the experience), Pogos Kitchen, the Salty Pelican In Fernandina Beach-Morning walks on the beach right outside our back door! Even walked to the Omni for breakfast -Evening walks near the beach - so peaceful and a million stars in the sky.You will not be disappointed.

We have been staying at AIP for decades and this is certainly one of the nicest condos that we have rented. It is beautifully decorated and although I was hesitant about being on the Ground Floor, it turned out to be incredibly convenient for the beach and pool. I loved it!Unfortunately, the condo was not clean when we arrived. In fact, it was unacceptable. However, I do not think this is the norm at all! Because of COVID, the leasing agency were very short staffed as the cleaners just weren't showing up. The managerial staff were even cleaning properties trying to keep it all running smoothly. When I complained, the agency bent over backwards to make it all as it should be. They were so apologetic and embarrassed. They sent in an excellent cleaner and made it all just right! I wouldn't even mention it, but it happened and I want to be truthful with my review. We had a really lovely stay and I would 100% rent this condominium again- no hesitation at all!

Closed to uncrowded beach
My family enjoyed this vacation so much! The condo is conveniently located close to the pool and beach, which was not crowded. The king bed was comfortable and the amenities were very nice. We also enjoyed renting a golf cart to cruise around the resort. We hope to get back soon!

Great Updated Condo!
Wonderful first floor unit with all the amenities you need. I loved that I could open the door and be on the beach in a minute! The owner has really put thought into what you will need while you are there. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook. The automatic night lights in the bathroom were great too! The ease of check in and out was a definite bonus.

Exquisitly decorated & ideal location with easy beach access!
Great Valentines day getaway for our new home away from home! We saw the sunrise from the beautifully decorated master bedroom .The owners are very gracious & thought of every detail to make our short get away very welcoming. We would definitely stay there again & hope to find a similar condo to make our true home away from home at Amelia.

Beautiful beachy condo
Had a great week here. Condo is very pretty and has all the comforts of home, spent most of our time on the patio, loved hearing the crash of the ocean. We rented bikes and a golf cart and cruised around the plantation which is like a magical forest! Played tennis and pickleball and spent every afternoon at the beach. Unfortunately the pool was under construction so couldn’t use but looked nice. Ate some great food. Favorites include 29 South, Bob’s Chop and Steakhouse, March Burette and Cucina South. We definitely plan on visiting Amelia again!

Beautiful villa, great location!
Villa is really close to the pool, which was great since we had two small kids with lots of gear to bring. It's beautifully decorated and well-equipped. The floor needed swept when we arrived, but other than that the unit was pretty clean.

Gorgeous 1st Floor Condo Close to Pool and Beach Access
My wife and 9-month old son spent a week at this condo with my parents. The condo is located very conveniently to the parking lot, pool and beach. The building is furthest from the main hotel making it less crowded and loud. The furnishings and what is provided within the condo is all you need besides your own food and drink. The extended outdoor patio provided plenty of room for the 5 of us plus a kiddie pool. I would recommend this condo for young families with kids as well as trips for anyone. We plan on going back to this condo in the near further. Highly recommend!

Nice decor but not impressed
Upon my arrival I was very pleased with the condo and thought it had great potential for our 9 night stay, but I was quickly mistaken. Apparently due to the colder weather at this time of year the condo hadn’t been rented for some time and the water had been sitting. It had a terrible sulpher smell that almost made me sick, and this was the case for every sink/shower in the condo. I called for assistance and they told me to just run the hot water everywhere for 15 minutes because it had just been stagnant for too long. After following the instructions the condo was muggy and smelled of rotten eggs - and the problem wasn’t fixed. They offered us another unit but that was not what we paid for. I was very upset that there was no offer to have someone come by to help. They made it seem like their was nothing they could do.
We ended up leaving because of the discomfort of the condo, but also in search of warmer weather further south.
I would recommend to the owners that they manage the water going forward so guests don’t have to deal with it during their holiday. I would also recommend new linens and pillows in the master bedroom as they are old and kind of smelly.

My husband and I spent my birthday at this Condo in Amelia Island. What a beautiful view from the balcony. I saw my first sunset ever from my bed in the master bedroom. The condo is decorated as if in a magazine. The kitchen is well stocked. The bathroom feels like you're at a spa.
The pool and beach are just steps from the door. There is no need to leave but if you choose, there are so many things to do and places to eat nearby. I can't wait to go back.

Beauty and Comfort and Great for Young Families
My family stayed here last November and had a wonderful time. We enjoyed the beautiful resort it was on as well as the closest town with so many nice restaurants and cute shops. We were traveling with a 2 year old and one on the way and were very happy with the comfort and convenience of the place. We felt as much at home as possible while on vacation. The condo was very clean, chic and impeccably decorated. The beautiful and well stocked kitchen was wonderful for those nights we wanted to stay in for dinner. The proximity to the beach and the pool was also ideal for families with small children because there were no stairs to climb being on the ground floor. Since the condo is ocean front the view was spectacular. We spent many nights relaxing on the back patio. We also were able to rent bikes and a bike trailer for our son from the resort and enjoyed the nicely paved bike trails to go to dinner or enjoy the other activities that were kid friendly.

New Years at the beach
My girlfriend and I enjoyed a romantic week and celebrated New Years there. Some days were gorgous and others were just as fine enjoying the fireplace and a movie and much better than rainy Seattle. I was pleased with the technology at this condo as I needed to work a bit. We walked up the beach to enjoy dinner, drinks and NYE fireworks at the Omni and the shuttle took us back to the condo afterwards. We rented bikes and rode to the marsh restaurant for sunsets. The golf there is great. My girlfriend appreciates great views and this place delivers. I don't often write reviews but this place is that special.

gorgeous well-appointed condo | relaxing tropical resort | fun activities
Condo is extremely well-renovated, well-appointed for visitors, and is tastefully "beachy". Master bath is outrageously luxurious. Covered patio has beach view, comfortable outdoor furniture, and access to pool. Building is uncommonly quiet. Entire resort is canopied in tropical foliage, also has well-paved bike paths get you anywhere on the resort (and to the bay-side as well -- try Drummond Park loop with great views), and bikes and trailers are available for rent.
Now the important stuff -- many good restaurants within short drive. 29 South (Fernandina), Timoti's Seafood Shack (Fernandina), Baxters, Marche Berrett (for breakfast on resort), La Mancha Restaurant (for big portions), Ritz Carlton (for cocktails), Shrimp Shack Seafood Kitchen (far away), Lulu's At The Thompson House, T-Rays, Brett's Waterway Cafe Inc. Happy eating!

Loved it!
We stayed in this beautiful two bedroom condo last November. It was bright, spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The beach and pool are just steps away from the sliding door in the living room. There are many great restaurants near by as well as paths for bike riding, running, or walking. Loved just sitting on the porch and taking in the view. Overall, my husband and I loved this rental. Will definitely be staying there again!
