Great little get away spot

Location, beach access was GREAT staff was friendly, and the owner lived on site and was always available should anyone need him. The style. Simple, kind of old school feel with the motor court. Far enough for it to be quiet, but close enough to everything fun.

I wish there was a comforter or heavier blanket in the room (I'm not letting this affect my rating because it's partially on me, I probably could have asked for one). Also wish there was a broom in the room to keep the sand under control, back and forth the the beach tracked sand onto the floor no matter how hard you tried to keep it out, and it inevitably ends up everywhere even in the bed.

Clean, cute, best bang for your buck!

Very clean lodging. Recently re-done inside, so, is new. Really like that the flooring is ceramic tile rather than carpet,-cleaner. Easy to book. All staff are attentive, friendly, professional. Great being on the beach. Great shopping, food close by. A nice, easy going vibe at this motel. Peaceful. This facility and area, very dog friendly. All things considered, an excellent value! We definitely are returning!!

Wish we could have stayed longer.

Loved the easy access to the beach. Friendly staff. My husband loves being able to smoke. Room was perfect for two people

A cabinet or stand in the bathroom to set toiletries on. Had to use the stool from the bar. A rug inside the door to catch sand but thankful a brim and dustpan were provided

We had a great time and so did our dogs

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They gave us some great local advise on restaurants. This hotel is very pet friendly, everyone there seemed to have a dog, which was perfect for us.

The motel is very bare bones. It has a cute little retro fridge and microwave, but not too many amenities. No breakfast.

Exceptional

The cleanliness and friendliness of staff and other guests. The home away from home casual attitude was awesome. The pool was sparkling clean.

I wish they had a little breakfast area with coffee, juices, milk, cereal, fruit, a make it yourself waffle machine, etc. Overall, no complaints about anything. We brought plenty of breakfast items with us so no rush to go out in the mornings.

I like that the motel is oceanfront.

The bed was filled with sand and dog hair under the blanket I’m sure they didn’t change the bedding there’s no way. The rooms have electricity problems when running the air conditioner which is a window unit or even while trying to run the heat which is outdated as well. These rooms need major updates. No phones available in the rooms and the beds are way to squeaky and all I did was sit down lmao. PLEASE I MEAN PLEASE AVOID STAYING HERE. There’s literally nothing in the area to DoorDash just avoid trust me. The main office staff was very nice but they know they are charging way too much for these rooms for their condition.

great location (when the room is facing the beach

the property is right on the beach! we had a room that was facing the beach (more money but totally worth it), I don’t think we would like there if we were not on the beach side. do Dog friendly hotel (the dogs lovers are going to be ok there with barking at times and all) The rooms are pretty basic but fine.

People were not cleaning after their dogs! in the middle of courtyard. There are no posts about cleaning after your dog etc, which is surprising that the owners would not think that is important.

Aweome!

The staff and beach location were excellent. The front desk worker was very personable and helpful with dinner suggestions. The location was easily accessible to local attractions and excursions.

Mini-Vaccuums in the rooms would be wonderful to pick up the excess sand. Bath or hot tub rooms would be nice additions. An outdoor hot tub or heated ppol on the sand would be amazing.
