Never again. Not only this hotel, but never with Booking. TripAdvisor all the way now.

Location of hotel was fine. Breakfast was 7-11-ish, packaged muffins, juice and coffee. The egg mix was nothing you would want to start your day with.

When checking in for 3 nights, we were given a room on the top floor. We were greeted by a wall of heat when we emerged from the elevator. The room was also burning hot. When I went to the front desk, the lady was puzzled and apologized and said she would have the maintenance man check it the next morning (it was still early afternoon when I checked in). She said to turn on the AC in the room (they keep them off until someone checks in) and wait a couple of hours and it should cool down. When we returned later that evening, the floor was still burning hot, no A/C, but the room itself cooled somewhat. It never got down to 70. The next morning, I asked the clerk at the front if maintenance had been called for the AC on that floor. She didn’t know and I asked her to call. “I can call him, but he ain’t gonna fix it.” Excuse me?? She said the AC upstairs had been broken for a while and the part was not in. I called around noon that same day and told the young man that I would stay one more night, but not for the 3rd night since there was no ac, and asked to be credited. I gave over 24 hour notice due ONLY to their known issues of non-functioning AC. He said of course but had to confirm with his manager. I was later told that they would not do it. I called Booking.com, whom I paid and they gave me a $50 Booking credit but did NOT refund the 3rd night room fee. Two long phone calls with booking and they said they can only try to get the hotel to refund, but cannot guarantee. What a shame. I’ve spent thousands on travel using Booking.com. Never again.

Bearable

The room wasn't clean. I was switched to another room that was a bit better but not much. My mother is handicap and it was an inconvenience that they hotel couldn't accommodate her.

Comfortable, spacious, great value and location.

Room size and layout. Spacious and well layed out room and bath. Lots storage space.

Our a/c unit was unusually noisy, the left bed mattress was a bit aged coul use replacing. Breakfast could have been better.

Disappointing

Location was great I have some great bacon eggs was not cooked long enough very comfortable sleeping. Love how big the room was.

Never had our room clean we had to take the towels out and go get extra towels. We end up cleaning the room ourselves

As always, a good place to stay while in Beaumont

We have stayed here many times on our trips back to the Golden Triangle. This is our preferred property for cost, comfort, and convenience. We will continue to stay at this property in spite of the unpleasant experience with one of the counter clerks.

Generally the staff was friendly and helpful, but one person who was at the desk was decidedly unfriendly and inhospitable. She should not be working at the front desk in any hotel. Never smiled, never responded to any attempt to be friendly. She was a real downer. All the rest of the staff, including the other counter clerk were warm, friendly, and helpful.

Any place in Beaumont would be preferable to Comfort Suites

After dealing with motels for over fifty years, I must say trying to check into my room the Comfort Suites at Beaumont, TX, was the first time a desk clerk deliberately tried to pick a fight with me. After waiting for the clerk to arrive, I gave her my name and she started looking through the reservations. She then glared at me and asked if I could hear her. I said, "What." She again said, "Can you hear me." I said, "Yes." She then said with great hostility, "I said hello." I was quite taken aback and asked her, who in the hell she thought she was. She then proceeded to tell that she was all done dealing with me, that I was trespassing and if I did not leave, she was going to call the police. While I would have gladly left, I had a paid reservation and needless to say I did not want to lose my money. I asked to talk to the manager and was told I could talk to her, the hotel clerk. I finally convinced her to just let me check in. Upon reaching my room, I called the national customer service line who apologized for the clerks' conduct. The next morning, I tried to talk to the manager, but she was not there. I told my experience to the day desk clerk, who also apologized and said she would have the manager contact me. As it has been over three weeks, one can safely presume the manager has no intention of contacting me. It is unfortunate the clerk, who said her name was Hamilton, cannot be trained to check in guests as quickly as possible and not worry about whether she has received a proper salutation. It does not seem to be her job to train guests in that regard.

Unbelievable bad service

We checked in Nov 5th 2022. The person at the front desk was the most unfriendly and most unhelpful person during our 4-week-trip through the US. A person with such a behavior should not work at the front desk of a hotel.
