We summitted three mountain hikes while at this property that was super convenient, very modern, well stocked and had everything we needed to live and cook. It was very nice to have available an empty garage to park our truck. Also, trash bins to transfer the house garbage into which they took care of removing in the end. Very grateful. We are so glad the owners recommended stopping at the grocery store before arriving. Their instructions and information was explicit, covered so much and easy to follow. We decided to extend our stay a couple of nights which were available.
The owners were very pleasant to work with!! If we are back up that way, we would want this place to stay in again. Also, they allowed our two dachshunds who were very comfortable and enjoyed the grounds.

Stunning View and quiet atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed the condo, the owners , and the location

The rental had a great floor plan with the primary bedroom in the back. The dining/living room was very spacious. It was wonderful having 2 bathrooms, especially having a soaking tub in the primary! There were spectacular views from every window! I can’t say enough about the amenities: large heated garage, washer & dryer, small appliances, and all basic cooking essentials. We walked to Lift 4 in the morning. The steep driveway can be slick, so be cautious. We will definitely stay here in the future.

We had a great time ! The property was very convenient, clean, and comfortable. They had everything we needed and more . The heated garage was a plus! They even had a box of ski gear incase something was left behind which was awesome . We will definitely come back !

The place was amazing, it was very well equipped and we really appreciated that. We were stuck in for 2 days because of horrible winds and everything we needed was there. We did lose power several times and needed communication with owners and the messages were returned immediately, and very helpful. My brother in law and I took our kids that had just graduated college and with all the games etc. we had plenty to keep us busy.
We finally got to ski the last day and it was amazing. The listing does say “hot tub” and there is not a hot tub, other than that it is amazing and I hope to return next year and ski more. Thanks for having us.

This property was the perfect place for our long ski weekend. A really nice condo that is conveniently located close to lift 4. The unit has heated garage which was a perfect place to get in and it of ski gear. The kitchen is well equipped. Lots of thoughtful touches throughout. The views from the unit are spectacular. Even my teenage son commented on how great it was. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed the beautiful Mountain Views and close
Proximity to Lift 4. The condo was well stocked , clean and comfortable. We would recommend for a winter trip.

If you go in winter to ski, you need snow tires and front wheel drive at a minimum. the condo was comfy. the heated floors take awhile and the hot water is perhaps shared so we could not take more than one shower in a one hour period. It is not ski in/out so the walk is a hike with skis or someone to drop you off at the Bavaria House. Beds were very comfortable and pet friendly!

Stayed in the condo for 5 nights and it was lovely. Views were spectacular and amenities were plentiful. Could walk to lifts and the Bavarian. I’d definitely rent here again.

Kyle and Crystals condo was perfect for our weekend trip to Taos. The condo had everything you would need and was a short a 5 minute walk to the lift.

We had a great stay the week before Christmas. The hosts were very easy to communicate with. You definitely feel like you're driving to the mountaintop as you wind up the road to get there, but with AWD it was easy, even with snow. The views were beautiful; the condo was well stocked including condiments and tin foil, zip lock bags, laundry soap, etc; the seating in the heated garage was perfect for getting on and off ski gear; and proximity to the ski hill was close enough to walk. We are from Colorado and had never skied Taos. We were so pleasantly surprised by how over the top friendly and accommodating everyone was and there were no crowds or lines. We would definitely go back!

The condo was very clean and well maintained. Grilling and relaxing on the deck was enhanced by the breathtaking Mountain Views. The summertime activities are pretty much limited to hiking.

We had a wonderful stay in this condo for our weekend participating in the Bull of the Woods Half Marathon. The condo was the perfect place for getting to the start line and for recuperating afterwards. The condo has everything you would ever need and was super clean. The bathrooms are elegant with soaking tubs and the kitchen has everything to make a great meal. The cozy living room and gas fireplace took the chill away after the rain started. And you won’t believe the views and solitude from the condo’s patio. Kachina basin is spread out before you - beautiful and peaceful - whether you have a cup of coffee or glass of wine in your hand. We will definitely stay here again!

Everything is new and well maintained - the fanciest place we stayed all summer. But be aware it's a 2 mile dirt rd to the ski village and another 1/2 hr to Taos. So bring everything you want on day 1. Trail Head to Wheeler Peak is right outside the front door and the food at the Bavarian is good, though summer hrs are short. There is a lot of construction in the area during the summer which didn't bother us too much as we were hiking, but something to be aware of. Internet was great for such a remote location.

Condo is well equipped and nice. Good location in the summer to escape the heat.

We drove from North Texas to escape the heat and were not disappointed with this awesome condo in Taos Ski Valley. The condo was was nicer than we had anticipated and we felt we got a great value for our stay. Being walking distance to a hiking trail and a restaurant was awesome. I highly recommend.

This was a fabulous place where we could disconnect and enjoy nature. The hummingbirds were lively and provided endless entertainment. The hosts were very accommodating and checked in during our stay. We can't wait to book again.

At 10,000 feet ASL, it’s a true mountain getaway. We escaped the Texas heat and enjoyed a week at this property. The condo is CLEAN, well-equipped, the owners are very thoughtful, and it’s the perfect base to explore all that Taos has to offer. Directly across from the Williams Lake & Wheeler Peak parking lot (trailhead), the location couldn’t be any better for hikers.
My favorite part of each day was reading scripture and drinking coffee on the balcony while watching the hummingbirds feed. The grill was perfect for our dinners and we enjoyed games and movies each night.
You are on a mountain, so plan accordingly. Most groceries are purchased in town and hauled up the mountain. Smith’s grocery was great as a one stop shop. Make sure to check out Taos Fly Shop if you fish, Far Flung Adventures for white water rafting (recommend a full day Taos Box trip), and a visit to Williams Lake. The roundtrip up to Wheeler Peak (13,161 feet) was awesome and took us 6 hours 16 minutes to complete 💪
Thank you Kyle and Crystal for sharing your mountain home with us. Our family (including our golden retriever), had a 5-star stay. We hope to return during ski season ⛷️

This was one of the best outfitted VRBOs we've stayed in. The location is fantastic and we really enjoyed ourselves, especially sitting on the deck and watching the hummingbirds jokey for position at the feeder.

We really enjoyed our stay in Taos Ski Valley! The property was one of the nicest we ever stayed at (and we travel alot). It had everything you could need or want. Bed was so comfy, bathtubs relaxing after a day of skiing, living room awesome with big tv and fireplace. Views were gorgeous. Enjoyed being up in Kachina Basin. Highly recommend!!

This was a very nice location. Perfect for quick access to lift 4. The owners are very thoughtful and have thought of everything a guest might need. My husband, kids, and I had a wonderful time and would love to stay here again!

The location of this place is amazing. The scenery was better than we could expect. The property hosts went above and beyond during our stay. The morning of our arrival, some Infrastructure problems arose and the hosts were quick to communicate so we weren’t caught of guard. The condo was clean, well stocked and the heated garage fit our Suburban perfectly. We had a great time and would definitely use this VRBO again. Thanks for making our Taos Ski Vacation a memorable family getaway.

Communication before and after from the owners was detailed, responsive and helpful. The condo had plenty of character, all the amenities we could want, and many thoughtful details. An example includes a heated garage with sitting area to take off ski gear and store it to dry for the next day on the slopes. The kitchen was fully appointed, media and wifi readily available, roll-out bed that one of our kids used, area for coats and boots for winter weather, and clear instructions for access, devices, facilities nearby. We were very happy with our stay.

Our family loved staying here for our skiing vacation! The property had everything we needed and then some. The owners thought of everything to make this place feel like a home away from home. The location was perfect for skiing…about a 5 minute walk to lift 4 and trails. The heated garage was an added bonus for getting all of our gear on in the morning and storing it to dry overnight. We will stay here again if we are in the area!

FANTASTIC!! My husband and I booked this beautiful condo in TSV to celebrate my 40th birthday. From beginning to end, our experience was awesome. Kyle and Crystal communicated quickly and thoroughly. The location of the property cannot be beat. It sits in the ski area, but is somewhat secluded from the busy-ness of the base and retail shops/restaurants. Words cannot describe the views from this place! We loved sitting on the patio, taking in the majesty of Wheeler and Kachina peaks. Also, the proximity to the lift at the base of Kachina Peak is incredibly close (less than a 5 minute walk). When it’s further into ski season and more of the mountain is open, this property I’m sure is even more wonderful. Inside the condo, the layout feels spacious and comfortable. The owners have done a great job of decorating and making everything feel cozy and clean. The tub in the master is FABULOUS! We both soaked every day, sometimes twice a day! The garage was super handy for our ski gear and hanging out in a warm spot while unloading after a day on the slopes. This condo is perfect for two couples or a family of four. We loved this place so much that we are already discussing summer plans with our daughters. Thank you so much for a memorable and relaxing weekend!
