About this chalet rental
Chalet Oscar is a wonderful 5 bedroom, 5 bathroom chalet set up to ensure a fantastic holiday in the mountains. The property is just 5 minutes walk from the shops and restaurants of Chamonix and the world famous Aiguille du Midi lift station.
The Master bedroom is a fabulous loft space covering the whole upper floor with 360 degree view of the Chamonix Valley's famous summits. The chalet features a sauna as well as two separate living rooms and kitchens, creating a very flexible space.
Ideal for groups of up to 10, the chalet can sleep up to 14, using two sofa beds. Please enquire about groups of more than 10 adults.

The chalet is set over 3 floors with the open plan main living space on the ground floor. On one side there is a sitting area with 2 Natuzzi sofa chairs and additional sofa and armchair and on the opposite side is a dining table easily seating 10. The living room features a double height ceiling at one side with climbing sculpture by a Thai artist. Large sliding windows provide access to the balcony and terrace with outdoor furniture. This is a great space for enjoying your meals alfresco during the summer months.
The open plan kitchen is separated from the living space by a breakfast bar built from local granite reclaimed from the original house before renovation. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to self-cater, including a fondue set and raclette to enjoy some regional specialities. There is a full-size oven, ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge-freezer (note; the freezer is small).
For relaxation after an active day on the mountain you can soothe any aching muscles in the sauna. The chalet is also equipped with a 32inch TV to allow you to switch off in front of a film.
For your convenience, on the lower ground floor, the chalet also features a utility room with washing machine, a tumble dryer, a separate Boot Room with ski and boot storage, and warm air boot dryer.
Interaction with guests
Guests will either be met at the Chalet on arrival to hand over the keys and to provide any further information, or if this is not possible at arrival time, the keys will be in a lock box at the Chalet and full written instructions provided.
