About this house rental
Welcome. From the moment you enter the gate and are surrounded by the garden and pool you may never want to leave.
Walk inside your home away from home and enjoy. Take in the mountain view from upstairs from Namolokama unobstructed to Bali Hai. At sunset the house lights up and the colors are unbelievable.
Walking up the jatoba hardwood staircase and onto the quarter sawn jatoba floor the upstairs of the house is where the best views are and that is where the kitchen and living area is. Dining is mostly on the outdoor deck where there is a 10' table that seats 10 or more. Inside, the island bar seats 2 and the nook can seat 6 or more. Lots of sitting and lounging area in the living area . If you are wet and need some lunch there is an outdoor spiral stair to get you up to where lunch is served on the covered lanai.
The master bedroom has a king bed with a beautiful pool view walk in shower and mango wood closet double vanity and a t.v if you just want to chill away from it all.
Queen bedroom with 1/2 bath is the other bedroom in the house with its own bathroom although this is only a 1/2 bath the outdoor private shower behind the ipe wood gate is always a favorite for all guests there a queen size bed in this room. There also is a tv so you also can chill there away from it all.
Bedroom three has a queen bed and comfy sitting chair and full length free standing mirror so you can make sure you look your best before heading out.
Last but not least there is #4 which has 2 beautiful twin beds for the kids or overgrown kids who prefer to sleep alone. (please do not move these beds)
If you have more than 8 people there are 2 single foldable futons to put on the floor near the door to the pool.
For these 2 rooms there is another bathroom with double vanities and a slate tiled tub/shower
Soooo much space on the pool deck to hide out from passing showers patio table with 4 chairs 4 chaise lounges make poolside living really easy.
After touring the island you can park your car and walk to Hanalei Bay via the public access located next to the Princeville hotel just a short walk down ka haku road.
For surfers at the end of the path you can paddle out the backdoor channel to surf legendary Hanalei or, ride the bike over to Hideaways. Upon returning put some food on the grill and enjoy the pool and spacious deck and soak up the sun,sunset or the pool or hot tub.
Not to jump around but the kitchen with the six gas burner stove and great knives and nice pots and pans make this a cooks paradise especially when you add the view in!

We recently stayed at this beautiful property in Princeville for two weeks in July and had an amazing experience. We gathered our family from across the country to celebrate milestone birthdays and major graduations, and this home served as the perfect home base for our adventures across the island.
The spacious and well-equipped kitchen, fit for a chief, allowed us to prepare some delicious home-cooked meals, while the yard had a zen feel that enhanced our relaxation. The pool and hot tub were a hit with everyone and provided a great way to unwind after a long day of exploring.
One of the best parts of our stay was getting to spend quality time with old friends and watching our young adults reconnect with cousins they rarely see. It truly felt like a home away from home, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to create lasting memories.
Overall, we had a fantastic time at this VRBO property and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and inviting place to stay in Princeville. Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience for our family!

We brought our family to Kauai to celebrate lots of things... anniversaries, graduations, etc. We were totally impressed with this house! We found it to be clean, so very well stocked (best stocked kitchen in all my vrbo stays), and overall a perfect place to spend our week. The a/c in the bedrooms was fantastic at night and the beautiful pool was great to cool off in during the day! Jim was quick with communication and answers to my questions! It is located in a beautiful area with amazing views! We loved having the supplied beach chairs and bikes to use during our stay. If we are lucky enough to get the whole family back to Kauai I would definitely stay here again!

I took my whole family to Kauai to celebrate my 75th birthday. Our stay at this home was perfect in every way. This home was delightful! The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked for cooking meals. The hot tub was a big welcome after long hikes and my grandchildren enjoyed the pool. When we had a question the owner was very responsive. I would rent again!

We had such a wonderful trip and this house was the icing on the cake!!! Loved every minute of our stay here!!!! I especially loved breakfast at the outdoor table, listening to the waves…and chickens! The home is absolutely beautiful and is just as listed!!

This home was welcoming, large enough to accommodate all eight of us, and the views were splendid.
We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary as well as making Hawaii the 50th state we have visited in those 50 years.
We also celebrated two family birthdays.
We highly recommend this spot!

there is lot if problems but no need to address it. Nice place but a lot of information that was not notified renters about, and now i have to pay for a 3 night of noise after 10pm no information on the black book of the house or even from the owner to address me about noise ordinace.We are just talking at the balcony about stars and at the jaccusi now the owner wants me to pay the fine of $150 for the 3 nights of noise REALLY NO ONE NOTIFIED ME OF THE 10 PM QUIET NIGHT. THEY HAVE TO WAIT 3 DAYS TO TELL ME ABOUT THE NOISE REALLY SO I HAVE TO PAY 3 DAYS OF FINES Not loud music but just talking about the stars. over all i dont know. me just for lack of information about the place and have to wait 3 days for them to tell me i was noisy they should have told me right away so i can keep it down after 10pm lack of communication with the property....DISAPPOINTED...

Our family and another family stayed at this beautiful home for six nights, and we loved it so much that we are already thinking about a return trip. Everything about the house was as advertised. The view is spectacular. The house and pool+spa both met and exceeded our expectations. Communications with our house was easy as well. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!

Really enjoyed our stay. Two older adults, 3 younger adults. Enjoyed the house and the location. Kitchen was well stocked. Only small issue was the knives could have been sharper. Would have liked something in the renters manual that had some notations about (1) best local beaches (2) best markets for shopping and (3) other things to do in the area. Would definitely stay here again.

The listing made us very interested in this property. Upon arrival we were disappointed. Not welcoming. Home locks did not work. Doors could not be locked. Grill would not light. (non-working lighter provided) Numerous light bulbs burnt out. Be prepared to pay a penalty/fine if you do not wash the towels. Kitchen refrigerator did not work and after research appears not to have been working properly for more than three months. Cloudy water in hot tub. With proper attention, this property could be a 5-star home. Lax attention was recognize by all in our party.

Great property. Pool and AC in bedrooms is a game changer! Jim communicated well with some minor issues.
Nice layout of house, all bedrooms downstairs with Kitchen-Living room upstairs. We all really enjoyed the house. Spa and kitchen fridge needs repair or replacement.

We love the north shore of Kauai, and if you need several bedrooms, this is a fantastic house. AC in all the bedrooms, and a nice pool to cool off in.

This is the second time that we have stayed at this property. We did so about five years ago. Having a pool and a hot tub adds so much to our vacation. It’s nice after exploring the island for the day to come back and hop into the pool. We love the view from the house. We were treated to beautiful rainbows, several of the mornings that we sat out on the upper porch and had breakfast. We thought the beds were exceptionally comfortable.
One final thoughts… It’s easy to be a good property manager when things go, right, but a true measure of a property manager is what they do when things go wrong. Through no fault of Jim refrigerator and freezer upstairs went out. There was a refrigerator and freezer in the garage so we were able to make do. It was a pain bringing food from the downstairs refrigerator up into the kitchen to make meals but Jim even did his best to remedy that. He brought a refrigerator freezer from his office and put it on the upper deck so that that would no longer be a problem. Just looking at what he had to go through to get it in place made us even more appreciative.
The upside is we got a chance to meet Jim. Great guy!

You will not find a better place to stay in Kauai. You could try, but you will not be successful. This house worked out perfect for our family of teenagers an adult children I can’t wait to come back.

This house is perfect for a group of 10. About a 15-20 minute walk or seven 6 bike ride to the beach. Only a 10 minute drive from Hanalei which is awesome for shopping I’m grabbing a drink. The house itself is absolutely beautiful with stunning views of the mountains. We even saw 11 waterfalls on the mountain from the porch after a rain shower. Probably one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed, highly recommend this place. Mahalo.!

This house is gorgeous and had everything you would want or need! The pool was perfect and private. The views are amazing and it's in a safe and lovely neighborhood. Jim, the owner was awesome and was really easy to communicate with, plus fast in his responses to any questions we had. Can't recommend it more for friends or families looking for a chill place to vacation!

While my wife and I had been to the island 5 time previously this was the first trip to Kauai with family. There were 6 adults, a 5 year old and an almost 2 year old. Jim’s house was the perfect place for us all! It was even better than the pictures!
The little girls loved the pool, as did the adults. He saltwater was pristine and refreshingly cool after a warm day out. The outdoor shower was perfect after a swim or soak in the hot tub. We end up eating in a lot of the time because the kitchen and veranda were so spacious and well supplied. Bedrooms and beds we all comfy and well appointed. We particularly enjoyed being able to stream our music to the indoor and outdoor speakers.
The only issues we had were a slow drip in the hot water heater which Jim quickly came by to check and the hot tub getting a bit cloudy, and again Jim responded and treated the tub.
For such a big house with so many perks the cost as actually pretty reasonable split between three couples.
If you have a group from 6-10 this is the place for you!

Wonderful house with plenty of space and beautifully appointed. The house has what you need. Located in a subdivision a few minutes from nice restaurants and sights in Princeville and Hanalei. The view from the living area/kitchen/dining areas is magical. Great cooking kitchen. Plenty of supplies to get you started. Owner was immediately responsive to any needs or concerns. Would recommend for stay on North Shore. Thank you for a great week.

Perfect house for our two families. You can stay at the house and enjoy the pool and hot tub, or make a quick trip to dozens of beaches and other local spots. Located in a great, safe neighborhood, often feels like you are alone on the island, very peaceful!

My family and I stayed at this rental for our vacation and absolutely loved it! It had a ton of space for everyone to hang out and enjoy. The property is even better than the pictures. I highly recommend this property and will definitely consider staying again if we are back in the area.

This is a beautiful house in a very nice neighborhood. Easy walk to the beach. Pool and hot tub were great. Although the hot tub needs some maintenance (no head pillows - sand in the seats). The beds were great. We really enjoyed staying here. The bikes are unrideable. The seats curve upwards and we couldn't extend them - so our legs were too close to the ground. Also would have been nice to have a cheat sheet for the light switches - so many of them and some appeared to not be working. We would have liked a drip pan for the grill.

The house was beautiful. It accommodated our group nicely. Several of us enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Especially nice was the outdoor shower, which was convenient since the interior of the house had a "primary" bathroom and one other bathroom to shower in. The location was great for walking down to the beach or over to the resort for a drink and listen to music. The availability to wash and dry our clothes during our nearly two week trip was also great. I would definitely stay here again and definitely recommend for a larger group or family traveling together!!

This was our 2nd stay in this home. The first time there wasn't AC, now they have it in the bedrooms! Great add to the already fantastic features. The home was very clean minus a few cob webs high up in some light fixtures. Every amenity you would need in the kitchen is available. The pool light was out this time so we didn't use it as much as we would have liked to after dinner (we really enjoyed the pool in the evenings last time, without the light it is super dark). The hot tub has some issues going on around the base of it, but still usable. We always feel very safe staying in Princeville and in this neighborhood. This home is super comfy and inviting. We had extra family staying in some condos 1 mile away. They ended up coming to dinner at "our" place most nights because it is so spacious. There were 5 beach chairs to use while we enjoyed the beach as well as boogie boards and we even bought a Tommy Bahama umbrella at Costco and left it for a contribution. We love this property!!

It was a great stay! The house was very spacious, well decorated, and had many additional amenities. We made good use of all the beach and pool items. It definitely made our stay that much better because of the added convenience. Definitely appreciated being able to use all the beach chairs, boogie boards, coolers, and beach towels. We also really enjoyed using the beautiful pool.
