Mitten in einer sehr ruhig gelegenen Gegend mit die scheinbar zum Haus gehörenden Rehe die sehr zutraulich sind und sich aus der Hand füttern ließen.

Construction right on property Saturday morning early
Ad on booking.com looks like you are booking a single cabin-not a motel-like room.

nice area, with surrounding lake
the toilet seat was broken, the sink tap was also coming off, there were these little bugs that I kept seeing around the place, twice on the bed which was gross

The location is terrific. Not too far from Greene and New Braunfels. This was a celebration of our 45th anniversary !
The negative needs to be corrected. On the stairway landing, there is an additional step. I didn’t see it and fell on those two stairs.. Ugh. Either even it up or at least paint it a bright color so folks can see it.

I liked the location near the lake . The rustic nature of the property was nice. Our dogs loved the walks around the area
it was ok but didn't care for the unpleasant construction debris around the whole property. All the trashcans close to us were full the whole 2 days we were there. Saw a giant 5-6 feet tall mountain of dirty sheets in a laundry bin but actually outside in view for 2 days at the other end of the lodge, probably should've not been in view of every one walking the property near the peacocks.
The downstairs lodge room was quite a bit smaller than appears in the pictures. a bit claustrophobic for me but still ok
Please be aware of VERY VERY THIN WALLS -- we could hear all our neighbors talking on both sides of us both nights .

The location was in a more private area of the lake, which my family and I appreciated. The rooms had a great design to them that allows plenty of space for small groups of 6.
The wildlife on the property was a great touch to the feel of the place. my nieces and nephews got to have the opportunity to hand feed some friendly deer.
There was construction going on all over the property, which really took away from our experience. There were materials and nails all around the pool/volleyball/common areas, which was a concern for the safety of our group.
on our arrival day, construction trucks lined the back roads of the property leading to the lake. They hid the pathways to the lake. The boat access area was completely filled with cars and boats that were occupying the area. We initially were under the impression that there was no safe inlet for the family to enter the lake, so we ended up taking the whole family over to Comal Park to access the lake. It wasn’t until after the workers had all gone for the day, and a total of $100 in park entrance fees had already been paid that we were able to fully explore the grounds. We came to find that we could have enjoyed our day at the resort instead of leaving elsewhere after all, if the area wasn’t occupied by the productivity of the workers.
For the rooms:
The cookware and appliances were not consistent.
Some units had pots with missing lids, and visa versa. Some had cutting boards/can openers/cooking utensils, while others didn’t. Luckily we had multiple rooms to find the collective tools we needed to prepare our food.

Easy access to the lake (cove) , supplies were easy to be delivered to us daily. We were able to grill dinners every night.
Property was great. we loved how the grass was cut, and our view was better than years past when we visited.
The only complaint we had, was the kitchen faucet would spray water out everywhere as soon as you turned it on. It need some maintenance on it.
