Accommodated 8 people well and we enjoyed the ocean view. Short drive to the ocean, would come again 👍

This property was centrally located close enough to everything we wanted to do, yet far enough away that we werent inundated with too many tourists. It had almost everything we needed and little stores close enough for the things we lacked. Also, the little fenced in yard was perfect for us to sit out and enjoy, and for our furbaby to enjoy ad well. The local access to the beach was easy to get to with miles and miles of pristine beaches to explore, and minutes from the seal rock area, abundant with rocks and tide pools!

Was drafty and a bit outdated but forgivable for the rates

This property was fantastic, great communication with property manager and maintenance guy, very quiet and loved the fenced yard. If I were to update anything it would be some new cooking pans for those who like to cook at home. Definitely would stay again!

We loved how close this house was to the ocean. Loved the beach we had access too. The space had great supplies for folks who like to cook and bake and was family friendly in several ways my daughter really appreciated. A couple downs: the lingering smell of cigarettes in the bonus room off the kitchen, strange scent in the downstairs rooms (someone in our group is sensitive to smell which feels important to note), and one of the beds upstairs was brutally soft and squishy.

My family and I booked a VRBO rental for an October vacation, expecting a 4-bedroom, 2-bath house. Upon arrival, we were met with a filthy property, including stained carpets, unclean bedding, dirty bathrooms.
The second bathroom was clearly under construction, missing a showerhead and handle. 8 people using one shower is nearly impossible.
The two lower bedrooms downstairs reeked of mold/mildew. I woke up an hour after going to bed with a headache, congestion a sore throat and itchy eyes. We ended up staying awake and someone slept on the couch.
We were forced to move to another rental through a different company after not having this issue addressed for 24 hours. Despite numerous attempts to resolve this with Vacasa and VRBO to move to another property or get a refund, no resolution has been reached. This experience highlights the need for improved guest protection in the vacation rental industry. VRBO's book with confidence was a huge disappoint.
This house is not fit for guests currently and is being managed horrible. I have never had an issue with VRBO before but this experience was highly concerning.

Had a great time at this house with my girlfriends. Had everything we were looking for and you could even slightly see the ocean from the house. Beds were also comfortable. Highly recommend for a girls trip.

The good: lots of bedrooms. Walkable to beach. Dog friendly fended side yard. The not so good: really old uncomfortable mattresses. Needs better living room furniture. If you are a foody and plan to cook most of your meals make sure you bring sharp knives and condiments. We bought pepper and olive oil. If you are wondering if the house has something like sugar, just bring some. Shower in upper bathroom was not hot enough. There was a limit on how high you could turn it up, like it had been intentionally blocked. Vacasa offered me a half price extra night, and the fees were higher than the half price rent. It feels like this property and vacasa could try harder. Not going back.

The place was great. The house was very comfortable and had plenty of room for our group. We will definitely be back next year.

This house worked perfect for our week of crabbing. close to the Bay for easy access. Parking was tight but we had 2 boat trailers so that took up the vehicle space. The side yard could use some attention (cleanup) but enjoyed the fire pit. The downstairs shower could use some attention as well but was useable. It is not a house for people who can do stairs well. All in all worked for us.

Very nice house, close to beach and other coastal towns. Well-appointed and comfortable.

Ice trays in the freezer were empty.
Tide pods were spread on garage floor.
Food left on the work bench.
Elevator was dangerous.
Basement reeks of mildew/ mold.
Basement shower leaks under flooring (causing mildew/ mold).
Not aware we had to bring our own bar soap & toilet paper.
Asked Brian Hunt for a second house key but he never got back to us. Phone & email.
Toilet paper holder in downstairs toilet is broken (stripped screws).
Kitchen table very sticky or tacky.
Set out the garbage Wednesday evening and by Thursday evening it had not yet been picked up.
Tree in the backyard split & partially resting on the deck railing.

Waldport Family Weekend
This was a good family set for 4 couples and 2 children. Short walk to the beach - even accessible for my handicapped brother. Fairly well stocked with cooking utensils etc.
Backyard firepit was a hit for marshmallow roasting. We hit the weather perfectly.

Perfect for whole family
Had sis and family here from Colorado we had twins that are 12 and 17-year-old that had never seen the ocean before.
The walk to The beach was nice, it’s a short distance. There is a blue whale in the front
yard with the asdrrrss number on it, we all named her Windy.
There were plenty of blankets and lots of pillows 😁😁💕
Big bath towels 👍
And EVERYTHING a person needed was in the kitchen! Right down to the crab crackers and ice cubes ready to go !!!
Place is niceQ q and clean in a quiet neighborhood. Patio furniture, bbq, fire pit, even had a crab pot!!!
All for a price that was doable.
We shall return and will tell our friends!

Just what we needed
If this house had a real ocean view rather than a distant glimpse of the water, it would have been everything we dreamed of. But we needed a quiet comfortable retreat to relax in after a tough time, and we found it here. The kitchen is well-supplied, and there is enough room for simultaneous puzzle-construction, drawing, card game (or board game if you bring your own), etc. House is suitable for families with children, not so perfect that you'd fear a child's crayon mark or spill, but clean and cozy. We may come again with more of the family; with four bedrooms holding full beds, there was much more room than the three of us needed.

The price is right
The place worked well for us but was definitely on the lower end of vacation rentals. Not well stocked or well kept. Common kitchen items unavailable, old and musty furniture, old and low quality linens, difficult to use/semi broken bbq, moldy smell downstairs. The over all space was as advertised though the common areas were smaller than we expected and it made it hard to gather as a whole group. Overall it was fine and very inexpensive. I’d have been willing to pay a considerable amount more for a nicer environment.

Make sure you are current on your tetanus shot
As a six-year travel host, I was not impressed.
Be advised that it requires steep stairs to access the house, which is not fun when you are hauling all your gear up. It is an older home and does not have A/C, so be sure to close the curtains in the late afternoon. There are two decks that have extremely rusted patio furniture. I would not sit in the chairs and one table looked ready to fall over from corrosion. Not safe for kids.
This space was not very clean. The BBQ was rusty and dirty and there were bits of another guest's grilled onions around the deck. There were other people's chips on the carpet, the bedsheets and furniture had plenty of animal/human hair and the shower downstairs is really gross. None of us used it.
Tip to the ownership: you might clean the top of the fridge and stove hood. I ran the hood screen through the dishwasher for you because it was disgusting.
The walk to the beach is nice, but some directions or a map for future guests would be helpful. The beach is very lovely and nearby towns are fun to wander and shop. Neighbors are not too close, which I always find nice. The neighborhood is also charming and local residents were very nice and informative.
This rental is fine, but the price should be reduced until upgrades have been made. Sorry, I never write poor reviews, but this needs to be addressed.

It was ok but not great
The house wasn't very clean. The beds were terrible. It wasn't socked very well. It was ok but not great needs updates

The place was ok. It was in a very quiet area which was nice. The info on the house said it was a two block walk to the beach. It was a lot farther than that probably took 15 minutes to walk there. I had to call the help number to have someone come out and clean the grill, it was nasty. Also the table and chairs on the deck are all rusty, no one wanted to sit on them. There is trash in the yard behind the house. The back deck had broken shells all over it, we brought our dogs and didn't want them cutting their feet, so someone had to clean that off. The house was dusty, the screen door fell off when we opened it. The beds were comfortable however there were no blankets just a sheet and a bedspread so we were cold. Need to supply more blankets. The downstairs bedrooms smell musty so my daughter couldn't sleep down there. I would say a much needed update on the place would be in order.

location, privacy, fenced yard
It would be four stars, except for some deferred maintenance issues such as the light at the top of the stairwell didn't work, nor did the heater in the front downstairs bedroom. There is an outside elevator, however we could not figure out how/if that worked either. These weren't issues for us as we only used three bedrooms and have no trouble walking up/down stairs. Tons of towels and bedding, which all was clean. The back/side yard was really nice for the dog. Everything inside was a bit dated, but other than the mentioned items, it all worked as expected. Would stay here again, and recommend to others as a funky beach house.

Awesome family home
My family and I stayed in this house for labor day weekend 2020 which also happened to be my boyfriend's birthday weekend. We had a blast. It was perfect for us and our 5 kids and was pet friendly for our dogs. We loved the area and would definitely return in the future.

Moldy
The down stairs was moldy and hard to breath in so everyone ended up sleeping upstairs making it very uncomfortable. They definitely have a moisture/mold issue downstairs

Coastal Stay
House was in a good location. This was a nice place to stay, kind of a weird setup downstairs, with a room without a bath and the other room had a big bath, but no access for the other room. The basement was a little musty smelling at first, but I guess you should expect that on the coast. I would stay there again!
