Wonderful accommodations in a quite peaceful location.

Gorgeous, well equipped, private casita with spacious shaded patio overlooking the Rincon Mountains. Serenaded in the evening by resident Great Horned Owls, and gently awakened by quail, and doves.
Hosts live on site and were generous and attentive to our needs.
Would return again and again.

The casita is in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood and has a nice patio to enjoy the scenery. The casita itself is very comfortable and had all supplies we needed. Wayne and Marilyn made sure we had everything and are wonderful hosts. We enjoyed our stay there!

This is our second stay at the Casita and it was as enjoyable as the first. I like to bike and it is close to mt bike trails and safe road rides around Mt Lemon and Saguaro National Park. The hosts are great. Our favorite part of the property is the outside patio where we can grill and enjoy an adult beverage.

The Casita is everything and more than what is stated in the description. We used to live about 3 miles from this location. It was exactly what we needed - the beautiful sunrises, evening stars, sunsets - close to family, relaxing, quiet - and - I cannot think of anything we needed that wasn't provided. We 'might' be back for a wedding in February of 204

Terrific location. Great hosts. I’ve been renting places different times of the year in several different countries. I’ve never stayed in any place that had more amenities than Casita Naranja. Wonderful stay.

The spot is just lovely. And the lodging is charming. It’s a bit of the feeling of country in the midst of the city and the hosts are a delight.

We loved the casita, wish we had stayed longer. 7 nights were not enough. Our hosts were friendly, even brought me a second bag of bird food when I ran low. We saw a couple birds we have never seen before. The bed was comfortable, having a kitchen let us cook.

My wife and I were visiting our daughter at University of Arizona. We decided to go early so we booked this place for a little over a week. We were very happy with the location, the accommodations and its relative closeness to U of A. The Casita is situated on the hill and has good views of the mountains to the east. I brought my mountain bike and was able to ride right from the Casita up to and around Mount Lemmon. Wayne and Marilyn are very good hosts and this will be a regular stop on our journey to Tucson.

Late April in Casita Naranja
Place was exactly as described. Everything we needed (and then some) was right there. From early morning coffee while watching the sun rise to relaxing after a day of exploring the desert, this place was wonderful. Very comfortable even when the outside temperature was in the 90's. Quiet neighborhood, but close to restaurants, grocery stores, etc. A short drive to all outdoor activities. Our hosts, Wayne and Marilyn were the best. Never intrusive, but always available. Wayne shared videos of bobcat cubs that grew up on the property. Definately a place I'd like to return to. Highly recommended.

Beautiful views. Great sunrise and sunsets. Bountiful wildlife. Owner has feeders out for birds. Very quiet and isolated yet groceries within 2 miles along with restaurants. Beautiful porch patio for eating and sitting. Owners are great super hosts. Highly recommend.

Fantastic location for Mt. Lemmon activities
I picked Casita Naranja for my week-long climbing trip because of its location to the Catalina Highway and Mt Lemmon, and I couldn’t have been more pleased. Close enough to Mt Lemmon to get quickly to the areas at which I wanted to climb but near enough to shopping and dining for great convenience. Very quiet and the hosts were fantastic. I’ll stay again without any hesitation.

Relaxing Getaway
We had a marvelous, relaxing week at Casita Naranja, a clean, comfortable, cool (temperature) and well-appointed guesthouse that is on the edge of Tuscon but offers a welcome sense of remoteness. Our hosts, Marilyn and Wayne, were cordial and generous. They were able to accommodate our early arrival, and brought us fresh flowers and cheese and crackers during our stay. We spent much of our free time enjoying our patio seating that overlooks the beautiful desert hills, watching and listening to the birds and soaking in the scenery. The casita is in a quiet walkable neighborhood and also provides easy access to hiking an other recreation at Mt. Lemmon, Saguaro NP, and Sabino Canyon. Highly recommended!

Great location; Lots of nature
This was our second stay at Casita Naranja and we love it! We are birders and nature lovers and we get our fill each time we've stayed. Marilyn and Wayne keep the bird feeders full and they attract a great variety of feathered friends! We even had a pair of nesting Great Horned Owls in the palm trees nearby. We also found a great group to play Pickleball with just a few miles away, so it was the perfect stay and respite from the cold midwest!

Perfect Location!
Wonderful casita in the beautiful rolling hills of east Tucson. Close to everything but in a very private location. Everything was provided and then some. We will definitely return!

Sun rise friendly
Looking over our toes each morning the sun rose warm and bright. A complete kitchen would have allowed us to make more than breakfast, but the suggested restaurant list made cooking unnecessary.
The owners were as attentive to our needs as we were to the Quail, Humming and many assorted birds at the feeder. Living in a desert forest close to town added to the real feel of being in Tucson.

Our family had a WONDERFUL Christmas at Casita Naranja. It is a beautiful and charming location. It was peaceful, with scenic views from the back patio, as well as some excellent bird watching opportunities.

Thanksgiving week
Beautiful location, watching birds and wildlife, neighborhood walks rivaling any desert cactus museum. Casita was equipped with everything we needed for a Thanksgiving feast with family and friends. We needed a longer outdoor table, and Wayne and Carolyn provided it. When not on the patio watching sunrise or reading (many great books provided), the comfy media room was our lounging area. Very comfortable bed, sung to sleep by coyotes just letting us know they were there first. We really enjoyed this VRBO!

Perfect in every way!
I stayed at Casita Naranja for two weeks while I visited family. The location was exactly as described and perfectly situated for my stay. I loved that it feels outside the city while still being close to everything.
It is an extremely quiet location with beautiful desert and territorial views and was also perfect for my morning exercise and walks. I loved watching the sunrise from the bedroom and front porch. Regular visits from quail and other birds added to the experience and a beautiful bobcat made a visit as well. I guess she's a regular around the property.
Wayne and Marilyn communicated so well both before my arrival and during, checking in to make sure I didn't need anything. The casita is well stocked with everything you will need and it was like a home away from home. I went shopping on my first day and cooked most of my breakfasts in their well stocked kitchen. Bed was extremely comfortable and the living room is outfitted with a large TV with all channels. I brought my Roku stick so I had my premium channels which worked great.
WiFi was EXCELLENT, no issues whatsoever and extremely fast.
Can't recommend this property or the hosts more and I will certainly be staying here again in the future when I come back for a visit! You won't be disappointed!

La Casita
We are happy to have found La Casita. The location was quiet with a peaceful morning view of the Rincon mountains along with a variety of birds feeding nearby. The house was generous and very comfortable. Safeway was nearby.
Our hosts Marilyn and Wayne were most kind and eager to provide anything we needed. We would not hesitate to return.

A wonderful place to stay!!!
From the beginning communication with the owners' was easy. Questions answered promptly and payment was easy. They greeted us with wonderful treats and keys to the casita. The casita was very clean and neat. Ample towels available with some toiletries and it was roomy for 3 adults. The shaded patio was perfect for hanging out with family, watching clouds build and rain fall. The casita was close to grocery shopping, restaurants, hiking, biking, a dog park, Saguaro National Park and Mt. Lemmon. The owners were close by and checked in now and then to see if we needed anything. We highly recommend staying here because we had a very comfortable and positive experience!

Best trip in a year
We had very good time stayed at Marilyn’s Casita Naranja. Marilyn recommended local sight seeing to us, and had fresh cut roses on the porch table, it really brightened our stay. We also like the spacious room, kitchen with all the utensils, so we could have a nice home made dinner after long day.

A gem!
Could not have been more pleased with the Casita Naranja guest house. The location is the best. It has a rural feel with shopping only 5 minutes away. We were able to hike, bike, and watch birds from our patio. The biking routes in Tucson are wonderful.
Marilyn and Wayne are the best hosts you could ever want. They make sure you have everything you need and more. They made suggestions for dining and sight seeing which two Minnesotans needed. You will not go wrong staying at this wonderful gem!

Peaceful and relaxing
We loved the cute casita and the beautiful location. We watched the quail every morning. The only negative is the bed which is a double bed. It was a little short for my husband. The owners are really nice people, we enjoyed meeting them.
