About this house rental
Bay Cottage is a spacious 3 bedroom fisherman’s cottage in the heart of Whitstable’s picturesque conservation area. The property has been renovated to a high standard, comfortably sleeps up to 5 people, and is on the doorstep to Harbour Street with it’s boutique shops, restaurants, and the seafront.
The cottage has a large & spacious living area with an open fire place. There is a separate kitchen/dining area with access to the garden & shed for bike storage. Upstairs there are three good sized bedrooms & a bathroom: all bed linen & towels supplied. There are some beach towels in the wardrobe in the front bedroom with the king size bed.
There should be already supplied in the cottage the following items: cooking oil, salt & pepper, tea, coffee & sugar, milk, tin foil, cling film, kitchen towel, dish washer tablets, washing powder, washing up liquid, liquid hand soap, & some toilet paper.
As well as the other facilities, you can play music in the cottage via the Sonos speaker in the living room. You just need to download the Sonos app which is available for Apple or Android phones/tablets. Then you will be able to play music from your phone, radio stations or music streaming services such as Spotify.
The open fireplace in the living room is available (October - March) for use. There should be a supply of newspaper, kindling & a few logs to get you started. Please make sure that the fire guard is always placed in front of the fire when in use.

We enjoyed our stay in this extremely clean 3 bedroom property. The seaside was a few minutes away and the town was lovely. The people there are welcoming andbit was exactly what we expected it to be: a home away from home. The owner was extremely helpful. We travelled to other beaches nearby- Broadstairs being our favourite. Good times!

Spent 3 days visiting family. House was in great location within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants. Parking wasn't the easiest and don't bring a big car as street very narrow. Loved our first time in Whitstable, will be back

This beautiful cottage leaves no wish unfulfilled. we had a wonderful vacation for two weeks in Whitstable. The cottage is cloth to the beach, the town and the harbour. A spezial service was the changing of the bed linen and towels after one week. We‘ve never had such a service on holidays since yet.

Perfect location
Perfect house for a family of 4 with 2 teenagers. Bedroom sizes were perfect. Lounge and kitchen area great sizes, lovely and clean. Perfect location. Parking in the road a bit tight but we found a space around the corner so no problem. Whitstable is a lovely seaside town, if you’re coming to stay would recommend this house.

Gorgeous cottage. Perfect location
Cottage was lovely, spacious and clean. Our party was 5 adults who were celebrating our mother/mother-in-law's 80th birthday.
The beds were comfortable, plenty of seating in the living room and the kitchen. Will definitely try to book here again if we are planning another break in Whitstable.

Lovely cottage in a great location
The cottage is in a great location for exploring Whitstable, the coast and surrounding countryside. It is very well equipped with everything we needed; kitchen utensils, crockery, baking and cooking equipment, tea, coffee etc, a good quantity of tea towels, a dish washer with tablets and even a fire set up in the hearth! It is also beautifully decorated, clean, the beds are comfortable and the towels are soft. We were very lucky with the weather over the October half term and the parking near the house was good. On top for all this, we were able to charge our car not far from the house in Cromwell Road. We were very happy with our choice of holiday cottage!

Lovely house, lovely location
The process of booking the house was very straightforward. We had to cancel our first booking at very short notice because of self isolating and were delighted to be allowed to move it to another date. We really appreciated that. The house is lovely and has everything you need. We appreciated the milk, flowers and prosecco and all the other things in the cupboards. It's in a lovely location.

Old girls long weekend.
This is a lovely cottage in the heart of Whitstable. Spacious, clean, comfortable and surprisingly quiet given that it’s just a few minutes walk from the harbour and high street. On street parking is an issue as the road is narrow and there were no spaces anywhere when we arrived on a Saturday afternoon. It is however just a short walk from the large Gorrell Tank public car park.
Overall a great place to stay!

Charming and centrally located
The cottage is very centrally located, just a short walk from the high street and the seafront. The house is well equipped and the rooms are comfortable and quiet. Lots of free parking around the house though streets are narrow and parking a large car is a little challenging. The contactless check in was super easy and Susan the owner has been very prompt and helpful with any enquiries. For us this was a great escape filled with lots of walks and great local food. We had a wonderful time.

Fabulous cottage great location

Absolutely delightful
The property was very clean, nicely furnished and very well equipped. The beds were very comfy. There was an outside table which was very sunny. It was very central and you could easily walk to the harbour and beach areas. The only down side which wasn't too much of an issue ,was the parking ,but all of whitstable is like this ,as all the houses in the central area do not have garages. We were always able to find somewhere to park close by. We had a lovely holiday despite the iffy weather. Thankyou

Short Stay in Whitstable
House was in excellent condition and exactly as described. Parking was very challenging and frustrating and was not helped by the fact our car was hit by an ambulance an hour after we arrived - luckily we heard the bang and the ambulance driver stopped!

Lovely Whitstable escape
We really appreciated finding this cottage so beautifully clean and welcoming. The extra little essentials that were provided helped to make our stay go smoothly. It was also very reassuring to know that the owners are taking extra measures to keep the cottage "covid-safe". The location is perfect. Just a stone's throw from the centre of town and the seafront. Such a refreshing post-lockdown break in a beautiful seaside town.

Bay Cottage
A delightful house, renovated to a high standard. Everything that you could need has been thought of and the cleanliness was spot on! (My husband's words). The house is ideally situated and because parking is tight, once the car is parked, there is no need to use it, the harbour, shops, restaurants, all on your doorstep! Perfect.

Toplocatie
Top vakantie.
