About Puerto Morelos:
Even though it´s close to Playa del Carmen and Cancun, it is very different. Puerto Morelos, the small town between Cancun and Playa del Carmen, is a laid back fishing village with interesting people, great little restaurants and a small grocery store. No one is trying to braid your hair or sell you anything, however, there are great places to shop.
Playa del Carmen is a 20 minutes drive and is full of action. Also, there is a ferry from Playa del Carmen to Cozumel that goes out every hour.
Cancun is about 25 minutes away if you want to party, explore or shop.
But it´s always nice to come back to Puerto Morelos the place to enjoy, relax and feel the serenity...

SRA Elena was very accomidating and has a wonderful condo in Mayan paradise. The beach was wonderful and Jose keeps the grounds, pool, and beach clean. Everything was top notch and was a real treat for a first class getaway. The kids loved the pool and slept well in the airconditioning. Thank you for having us!
Nos tienemos un villaje milagro y nos fuimos feliz toto la semana. Buen suerte a encante usted y esperemos a regresar un dia. Muchas Gracias por todas!

The pictures don’t do it justice! It’s right on the water. Lots of lovely amenities. Elena is super helpful and communicative. The location is not a far walk from town but it wasn’t comfortable in the heat with kids so we just used taxis. We would definitely stay again!

The location is perfect, right on the beach . 15 to 20 minute walk to Puerto Morelos. You can walk forever on the beach. The beaches have significant sea weed however Jose does his best to keep the condo beach front clear but then again the sea weed is a Mother Nature issue

We really enjoyed our stay at the condo. Elena was a wonderful host. She was flexible, kind, and a joy to work with. The location was right on the beach, but elevated to provide privacy. Sitting on our patio looking over the pool in the mornings and evenings watching the ocean was great. The walk into Puerto Morales by the beach is about 20-30 minutes long. We did that daily and then took a taxi back. I would highly recommend the property.

This property was very nice for a quiet, mellow girls or family beach trip. Very clean beachfront condo with pool walkable or short taxi ride to town. Excellent communication from the owner who supplied basics in the fridge, met us upon arrival, and even gave us a ride to the town square

Beautiful pool and right on the ocean. Very relaxing, about a mile away from the heart of town. We rented a moped and it was easy to get around from rental to town.

This is such a beautiful and well maintained property. The condo was very clean and had nice touches to make our vacation even more enjoyable! Maria is a responsive host and responded within minutes to any request or questions we had.
The pool level condo was so nice for our family- which included our teenage daughter. She enjoyed the easy access to the pool and plenty of relaxation time!

We had a very enjoyable stay at the condo. Pool is lovely and condo well appointed. Seaweed made beach challenging to swim but great for long walks.

My first thought is the representation on line doesn't give this property justice. Absolutely a prime example of paradise. Beautiful furnishings made feel at home. THE VEIW is spectacular. Beds are very comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped. 25-30 min leisurely walk to center of Puerto Morelos. We didn't rent a car, wasn't an issue for us. Very easy to catch a taxi never waited more than a very few minutes. Nice and quite area. Pool side and beach area was awesome. Communication with owner was seamless very responsive. Only little complaint would be the pool isn't heated, It is a little on the cool side this time of year. I am planning on returning soon. Plenty bigg for two couples or a family of 4 or 5. Absolutely love this place and owner.

Great apartment, good location (was nice being just a little out of town), wonderful pool and just steps from the beach! All just as advertised in the listing. Elena was an excellent host, always replied promptly to any inquiry, and was very accommodating. Very pleasant and helpful on-site staff as well. We look forward to going back!

Quiet, right on the beach with everything you need. If it’s not there, Elena will help you with it! Walk to the town on the beach to get dinner and take a taxi back. Couldn’t be better.

This is a lovely, nicely equipped, ground level condo kept very clean; and the owner is exceedingly helpful. The beds and other furniture are comfortable and attractive, and the view out the back doors is marvelous! We cooked for ourselves quite a bit and did miss a dishwasher (spoiled us); but kitchen implements were plentiful and effective. I loved the chairs on the little patio just outside the French doors -- especially after the shade came over after noon. There are miles of beach to walk just steps from the condo -- although this year the village could not keep up with the sea grass on the beach. We sampled a number of local restaurants and highly recommend La Sirena and Spaghettino's (near the brand new Chidrauri grocery store. The condo is a bit of a walk from the village center, and we were happy to have a car for going out and back for dinner. I would definitely return to this property!

We stayed for a month and felt at home from day one. The unit is furnished nicely and the beds are comfortable with plenty of storage for our clothes and essentials. Elena came every week to clean the place and made sure we had all we needed to enjoy our stay. Bottled water is furnished and when we needed more just asked Flipie for more and payed a few pesos. Easy peasy! You can see the sea from the kitchen, living, dining area and the master bedroom. At night you could watch the cruise boats go by and during the day enjoy the waves and pelicans diving into the water for their fish..We have been staying in Mexico for over 15 years never once used the pool at other places but this time the pool was very refreshing to do laps or just stand in and look out at the sea. Dry off laying on the lounge chairs. The beach in front of condo is small and a little rocky to enter but you can walk either direction for miles. It is about a 25 to 30 min easy walk to the town along the beach and to the area that we spent most of our time to allow me to snorkel off the shore. From the condo you can call for taxi (ask Filpie) or walk to town along the beach and catch a collectivo for 10 pesos to go to the larger grocery store and taxi back to the unit. Stay in town and eat at the many restaurants that are amazing and reasonable. The people are very friendly and we felt safe. The one negative we in contoured had nothing to do about condo but mother nature. It's the sea-grass that blows in along the beach at times it limited our ability to walk easily along the beach. We will be back hopefully sooner rather than later!! Thank you Elena for sharing your home with us, we have come home refreshed, relaxed and dreaming about our return to our new home away from home.

We loved our 5 day stay at Costa Blanca! Elena was wonderful! She was waiting at the condo when we arrived. She was very helpful & she responded immediately when we had a question regarding the door. The amenities that Elena provides with the condo are great. She provides beach towels, hairdryer, soap, water, beach chairs, cooking utensils & of course wifi:-). Some may not think these items are a big deal but its less you have to pack! We would definitely would stay here again. Yes its a 20 min walk to town but it is super easy to get a taxi & its cheap. We love going to Puerto Morelos!

This condo is clean and comfortable, in a quiet location. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen has many small appliances, a stove top but not an oven. We wanted to try the grill, but didn't, there were too many good restaurants to enjoy during our short stay. By roadway the condo seems a long way from town, but by beach it is only 25 minutes walking on a terrific beach. The weather was not the best while we were there, but nice enough to enjoy sitting on the patio/pool deck and under the tree on the beach enjoying the views. The condo complex has a few houses directly next door on each side with the Puerto Morelos' Reef National Park located a bit down the beach, contributing to the quietness. Several people walked the beach (no vendors), going back and forth to town; many were cleaning the beach as they walked. The beach is incredible and very clean. We did not have a vehicle, as we came to enjoy the beach and a taxi only cost $3.00 USD from town the evening it rained. Felipe resides adjacent to the condo and took us to the airport for less than the taxis in town. Elena is terrific to work with, being very responsive and helpful. We look forward to returning to this condo and Puerto Morelos

My wife and I (with another couple) rented this condo for the first 17 days of March. We were very pleased with the condo itself (well equipped and well taken care of) and with the location. While the 22 - 30 minute playa walk into Puerto Morelos might create problems for some people, we loved it. In the other direction, we were able to briskly walk for about 30 minutes. These ideal conditions meant that we were able to get lots of exercise in addition to our poolside reading, sunning and chatting. The town of PM is delightful as is the pueblo (or La Colonia as the locals call it) on the other side of highway #307. All in all, I heartily recommend this condo and this community.

This is a beautiful property to relax and drift away. Maria made our travel plans so easy with her prompt replys and suggestions. Town is only a 30 min. walk along the beach or a 5 minute drive. Great restaurants and shops. Costa Blanca condo is a great place to stay !

Loved the condo. It was very comfortable and roomy for 4 adults. We loved having a pool and being on the ocean. Walked the beach everyday and since I'm an early riser, saw the sun rise, absolutely stunning, every morning. This is our 3rd trip to Puerto Morelos and we love the friendly, laid back town atmosphere. When you see the locals having a family day on the beach, swimming, picnicking, playing soccer, you know this place is a real town and not just for tourists.

We had the most relaxing holiday ever. The condo complex was small a total of 9 units. I loved it as you didn't have to deal with crowds. Our unit was exactly as the pictures show. Beautiful!! I enjoyed watching the sun rise from our bedroom and starting off my morning doing laps in the pool. From there it just got better. The owners of our unit were so warm, friendly and helpful.. Maria picked us up from the airport - went grocery shopping the home sweet home for 15 nights!!! We would definitely stay here again. Muchas gracias Maria y Maria

We stayed at Maria's condo for a week in November. Everything was exactly as depicted and described on this site. Prior to our visit we communicated with Maria by email. She was very responsive and went out of her way to accommodate our special requests. We decided to use her transfer service and found her waiting for us when we exited the airport.
The unit is very well cared for and maintained.
The beach is perfect for walking in either direction, and if you are lucky, you may see baby sea turtles released just up the beach to the north. Probably the highlight of my stay...that and being right on the beach with a spectacular view of the sea and sunrise from the bedroom or living area.
A short walk down the beach to the south is Puerto Morelos. A nice little town with restaurants, some groceries (better to stop in Cancun on the way in) and shopping.
A week was not long enough, and we have decided to stay for 2 weeks next time!

Our living room and master bedroom opened onto the infinity pool. The building is the closest to the beach and the reef, we were able to snorkel from our door steps. The condo was completely furnished, there was even coffee and sugar. We recommend the owner and the place 100%.
The condo is only 20 minutes from cancun airport, and about 25 minutes to Playa del Carmen.
Best is to rent a car and visit Cenotes route, and Tulum and Chichen Itza Mayan ruins.

We stayed in this lovely beach condo for a week in June. Very clean, comfortable furnishings in a quiet beach location. The condo is about a 25 minute walk to the main town square for lunch, dinner or to meet up with an excursion. Beach in this area is beautiful - soft white sand and clear water, although the area right outside Costa Blanco is rather rocky. You can easily walk the beach in either direction and find a sandy spot to swim or snorkle.
Grocery options in the small town of Puerto Moreles are very limited so be sure and stock up on your Walmart stop with Maria! Maria provided service to and from the airport - she even came to check on us and purchase some over the counter meds when we contracted a stomach ailment! What a thoughtful owner.
Recommend bringing a couple of extra beach towels with ou, since only two are in the condo, with no easy access to laundry facilities. With that small exception, settle in for a super relaxing beach getaway!

My wife and I-seniors in retirement-enjoyed a delightful ten-day stay in Maria’s very nice condo-part of the attractive and well maintained 9-unit Casta Blanca Condo complex. Here we always felt safe and secure and enjoyed the friendship, advice and assistance of more PM- experienced US and Canadian couples occupying other condo units in Casta Blanca. You never had to compete for the reclining chairs around the pool, or suffer noisy neighbors. It is a quiet, very relaxing place, enhanced by a great view of the sea where one can watch the sunrise with an early morning coffee and in the evening see the cruise ships on the horizon heading north. And of course, importantly, enjoy the hot sunny weather. The whole time we were there was a steady sea breeze that made it unnecessary to turn on the air conditioning units. The WIFI connection is good too so one has reliable Internet connections for communicating with friends and family. The complex has replacement containers of drinking water at 30 pesos. A few old bikes are also available for occupants use.
The condo was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable relaxing vacation. It is beachfront-located as the photos show with about 50 feet of sandy beach between it and the saltwater. So swimming and snorkeling is at your front door so to speak. However, the beach gets wider and better for swimming and snorkeling closer to town. If you want to snorkel on the fabulous Caribbean Reef you can arrange to have a boat pick you up in front of the condo, as we did.
On occasions when you may need assistance to call a taxi, arrange a snorkel or fishing trip, etc. Philippe and/or Ernesto who look after take care of the property are always willing to help. Ernesto speaks English fluently. Philippe has the local contacts. Both are super, obliging guys. If you wish to eat out you will find a wide selection of restaurants in PM, where you can have a full three course meal, or enjoy, say, something simpler but still very satisfying and tasty such as tacos or pizza and a beer in a small street-side setting.

Maria was so helpful with any questions we had.
The condo looks just like the photos and was like a 2nd home so comfortable and cozy.
The view was amazing and we spent 98% of our time outside.
The pool was never crowded, everyone was friendly and had helpful tips.
My mother (has one leg) in her wheelchair was able to manuever herself out of the condo, around the deck and into the pool all by herself. She even made it down to the beach and swam in the ocean our last day! I snorkeled right in front of the condo every day - saw a sea turtle! Starfish and other fish! The rocks were spread out and didn't pose a problem for us at all. We enjoyed the walk into town via the beach and the quick taxi ride in - everyone was helpful and friendly.

We stayed for 9 nights .It was our first visit to Mexico . There were 4 adults and our grandaughter who had her second birthday while we were there. The condo was clean and well equipped . The A/C worked well and the beds were comfortable . We did not miss the washer and dryer . We enjoyed the pool very much . Maria the owner, was pleasant to deal and so were the maintenance staff . There are 9 units in the building but the place was not crowded and the unit has good soundproofing . We met residents and guests and all were friendly and interesting to talk to . We really liked the location , its quiet, on the beach and a 30 minute walk to the town square . Puerto Morelos is a very nice little town .The place felt very safe with lots of people walking around and biking .There are good restaurants - we had an excellent meal at Los Pelicanos , a car rental office and ATM in town , For a good grocery store you have to go to Playa del Carmen or Cancun , although you can get fresh fruit and fish in town . You cannot swim in the ocean by the condo because of rocks at the waters edge but further down the beach towards town there is good swimming and snorkelling .
The highlights for me were the condo and pool , the cenotes, and trying to talk with Mexican people .
