We were in a fantastic unit was six bedrooms which were perfectly for the 13 of us. We love that there was a pool, hot tubs, the kids loved the arcade. The only problem is only one restaurant was open, and it wasn’t very good. Almost every single person had a problem with their meal whether the chicken was undercooked or the vegetables and soup were just not edible. It’s disappointing there were not more food choices so when we didn’t cook, we had to go into town.
4.0 / 5.0
Great space, 4 King rooms a plus, BRs for the kids, each family had own bathroom, kitchen well stocked except for leftover containers (we left extra). Comfortable bedding, sitting space and dining table that fits everyone, humidifiers in each BR, good amenities at the resort.
Negatives: Half bath downstairs still broken (I don't think it will ever be fixed); 10 am checkout, instructions for check-out not consistent with location, no air and some rooms and without windows that open to the outside. I would not go in the deep summer.

Overall property was not very clean. Bathrooms drains were not working in spite of reminders. Nobody took care of it. There was no heat in one of the rooms. Maintenance people were very rude. They did not take care of it till two days later they provided a space heater. Maintenance service is extremely poor. If anything is broken or not working, you could be assured that nobody will take care of it during your stay.

The condo was in a perfect location and was clean, and well stocked. It is a great option for multiple families and worked well for our group. Kids loved being at the base of ski school!
Minor issue with the freezer being broken so our frozen food had thawed. There were issues with the building itself as all of our keys stopped working multiple times. There is also a note inside the condo to call the front desk and they will shovel snow, but when we called they said they will not do it since this property is managed by a 3rd party. Minor disturbances but over all we would stay here again due to the location and great unit.

The ad describing our 6 Bedroom 6 1/2 bath was very misleading. Our unit did not have a great layout as bedrooms We’re not contiguous ... no bedrooms on main level....4 bedrooms upstairs , and two across the hallway but downstairs reachable by a spiral stairway..A very poor arrangement of bedrooms... great location as close to ski lifts... but a very dated room. I must have been drunk to have agreed to pay $ 40,000 for a week in this unit... not a good value for this unit !!!Very overpriced and not a good value for the substantial price !!

The weather wasn't the best for skiing so we were happy that the lodging was roomy and comfortable. Great location. We loved the shuttle taking us around town. They responded quickly to any problem we had. The facility is older but we loved how much room we had, the supplies we needed to start our vacation, and the location. We would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The unit has a beautiful view and is really close to Main St and all the shops. It was also great having a ski lift in the “backyard”.

Overall the condo complex was good, although going through many improvement projects that caused some difficulties. Location to the slopes was great, employees were friendly and there were lots of amenities. One of the main reasons we chose this location was because of the pool and hot tubs. The pool was great, but due to the boiler being broken the hot tubs were not working and Pinnacle did not care that we were unable to use them. They didn’t communicate the true story and 3 times we got ready to hot tub only to find out after the effort that they were cold. Pinnacle did not communicate and refused to offer any compensation for the loss of a primary amenity. I would not rent from Pinnacle again. A bright spot was the spa employee from North Carolina who administered oxygen treatments to several of our group, suffering from altitude problems. His kindness was above and beyond.

We truly enjoyed our time. The location can’t be beat, awesome views, and plenty of space for our group of 15. You’re steps away from everything. Would definitely stay again.

Property and location were amazing. So convenient, ski rental/lift tickets are on property and easy to access. Lift is just steps away. They have upgraded furniture so no couch issue as others have commented. Would rent again. Only downside is there is only one elevator and it gets backed up at 4 o’clock coming off the slopes.

1. The living room sofa needs replacing.
2. The dresser drawers need replacing as they do not open and close correctly.
3. The living room over head lights are too bright.
4. Other than that it is a beautiful property

Very well stocked. Beds were super comfortable. House was clean. The layout was not quite what we expected when we arrived, but it absolutely worked for our large group. I have absolutely no complaints.

Overall a great experience, perfect location, lots of room for 6 adults, a toddler and an infant. Easy communication with the property management team. My only suggestion would be to update the furniture in the living room. This shouldn't deter anyone from booking. The space was fabulous.

There is conflicting checkin information on the emailed instructions. In one place it says no need to go Beaver Run desk for key and then the next page it’s highlighted that you need to go to the desk. Conflicting information for check out as well.
More importantly the “penthouse” was in disrepair. The dishwasher door is about to fall off. The only place to sit is a 20 year old leather couch that is completely falling apart. There are several pieces of lumber under the cushions just so you don’t fall straight through to the floor. The back of one side of the couch is snapped in half, only what’s left of the leather is holding it together. The flooring is gross throughout. The carpet on the stairs is disgusting. There was y one piece of furniture to sit outside and enjoy the deck.

The location was superb, the unit was very spacious. The resort was fine, and the shuttle service was very handy.
Some suggestions:
Update the furniture is sone of the rooms, especially the room acriss the hall
Upgrade the recreation center, the miniature golf was very humble

The only issue we had was incorrect check in information, but that was easily resolved and our stay was wonderful. Very convenient and walkable location.

The positive: The location of this condo is ideal. Walk out & you are on the Beaver Run Express. The Beaver Run shuttle service and drivers were awesome. Onto the negative: there is ONE elevator for this 8 floor building. There were NO carts on arrival. Picture unloading for a multi-day stay with gear, groceries, 10 people. Took us forever! Plus you are constantly waiting for an elevator to get anywhere as this is an 8th floor unit. The unit itself is dated. The sectional sofa sinks & needs replacing! Same with coffee makers. The heat is baseboard radiators and simply DOES NOT keep the main common area warm. Our first morning, we woke up to 62 degrees despite the thermostats all set at 73. Yes, it was cold outside....but this is a mountain resort that should be adaptable to cold temps. We called maintenance and they came & said the heat was working...HMMM. They did bring space heaters which we needed to utilize for the remainder of our stay. Our kitchen faucet broke day 1. Took 2 phone calls for maintenance to fix it. The main hall bath didn't drain. The acoustic ceiling tiles are breaking and sagging & so low you can touch them. The heat in the bedrooms was inconsistent no matter what the thermostats were set at. Some were so hot...others never warmed up. The heating system needs a complete overhaul! Two bedrooms are actually across the hall. Yes, they connect by going to the second floor then back down a spiral staircase. Those two rooms are isolated! Then who to call for issues: I called Pinnacle & was told to call Beaver Run and vice versa...very confusing. Lastly, all texts/emails upon arrival state the it is a coded entry. NOPE! I searched multiple texts/emails for our entry code. Ended up going to the central desk in the conference center to get room cards. How hard is it to simply say "go to registration to get room keys" Every piece of info said we will send you a door code! Again, frustrating. Get it together!

We had a great time in Breck and didn’t let the irritations of the property impact that. We pulled the crockpot out that I had specifically asked about prior to coming and it was cracked. They did buy a new one and delivered it. The kitchen sink faucet was missing its nozzle so we got drenched whenever it was turned on. Loose transition trim, bathroom fans that didn’t work, tub/showers drained very slow, dishwasher falling out of the cabinet - just “minor” irritations but I also haven’t gotten a response from Pinnacle. Also, the “unique” part of the property is the two main floor bedrooms are actually across the hall requiring key entry.

We are a family of 13 and we’re not impressed at all. The place was not clean, we daily had problems with the key/cards and kept having to go to the front desk and were told our place was independently owned and they were rude. This was a royal pain!!! We had to personally buy batteries for the tv remotes, we didn’t bother with batteries to the clocks that didn’t work. We were charged an additional $50 for amenities that we never had any extras and have not been credited back to my account. No air conditioning and Breckenridge had record highs the week we were there! For the price I paid we will not use this place again. The location was great though?

We're a group of 3 families (15 total) who ski together each year. We've explored several CO/UT locations, but we keep returning to this property. It is clean, well appointed, and comfortable. Truly everything is at your doorstep... lifts, ski lockers, hot tub/sauna, apre bar, village, etc. We have only great things to say about this property, location, and experience. We'll be back.
2.5 / 5.0
We had a wonderful stay at the condo, enjoying the proximity to everything we needed as well as complimentary resort shuttle to the few things that weren't close. Our large group took advantage of the ski lockers, the pool, the arcade, mini-golf, hot tub, sauna, dry sauna, ski school, the bar, ski rental and lift tickets, and the shuttle. They were quite pleased with all of the extras at this one location. We loved that we had several refrigerators, and the full sized washer and dryer in the unit. We used the humidifiers, the high chair, and the pack'n'play. There were a couple of things that could be improved on: the dishwasher doesn't dry the dishes, so with this group, we were constantly using up kitchen towels drying the dishes which was frustrating. There were three coffee makers, but only one was fully operational. There was a Kerig, but with our large group, we wanted to use coffee pots. Our call to the property management produced a coffee pot to replace the cracked one very quickly. Unfortunately, the pot was the wrong size. We made do with one pot, but could have used another with this many people. The dishwasher kept tipping over when we tried to load and unload it, and again, property management sent a guy to fix it, but the fix only lasted one day. The master bathroom tub would not hold water for a bath, and several toilets required two flushes to work correctly. The dryer took forever to get towels dried, might have a blocked vent? The sliding glass doors don't close completely, so cold air comes in the left end at the top. For our group, there were only two options for heating the unit, too hot or Off. There weren't any directions to operate it, so we kept it off most of the time. Loved the fireplace, but the directions to operate it from the entry door IR code are not correct and there is no gas starter. We made do with a boy scout in the group, and scraped enough kindling to get a fired started on our own. Overall, this was a great property for us, and would do it again for sure!

We had 15 family members here between Christmas & New Year and had a blast! The location is perfect for skiing, with storage right downstairs at the ski lift. Then we always did Apres ski at Coppertop and the kids could go up to the room as they wanted. Loved that each room had its own bathroom! Would definitely stay again!

We had three families in the condo and we actually had extra space! Great location, close to everything, and the resort was excellent. The kids had a blast in the pool and the arcade. It was so convenient to have a trail right behind the resort as well when we needed a quick escape.

Great Location and Property for Large Family Group
The unit is very large with 6 bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms for 5 of the 6. Good kitchen area and dining table for eating meals and playing games. You have access to the swimming pool and several hot tubs at this building, plus pool table, foosball and other games on the community floor of this building as well. Several things were closed during our stay due to Covid-19 or just the season (August), but overall I would recommend staying at this property and in this large unit. Some suggestions for the owner and the property management would be (1) replacing the vaccuum with one that actually works well, (2) improving the lighting in the family room area where there are currently only spotlights or the lights of the ceiling fans that are very high....add some floor lamps or something else for more intimate lighting, (3) add some chairs to enjoy the nice outdoor patio...even if just cheap plastic chairs from Target; the patio is so nice, but currently you can only stand there, and (4) add luggage carts to all buildings....currently you have to go to one of the other buildings to get a luggage cart which is very inconvenient and even exhausting if you were older or out of shape. Overall, a nice place to stay!

Perfect Condo!!
We stayed at this property with two other families. Each of us have three kids. The layout was perfect for our families! The location is also fantastic! We were able to walk our kids to ski school (mostly indoor walk). We also loved the lockers at the base of the mountain! We also loved being able to use all of the amenities at the resort! Our kids did the arcade and everyone did the hot tubs. We would definitely return to this property. Large and fabulous condo with an amazing location!!!

Beaver Run's location is a 10 out of 10
We had eight audults and four three and under. Ease of getting to the slopes, day care or ski school was perfect.
The condo itself was probably nice 30 years ago. Today it is a dump. Furniture is broken (one of the easy chairs arms hangs off and was mentioned in a review months ago but still hasn't been fixed) and is barely useable. The desk chair only had three legs. Each night we were almost smoked out because we tried to use the oven that hadn't been cleaned in years and smoked poured into the condo. The master bedroom had three humidifiers - two of which were broken, why not throw out the broken stuff all around? While we had a great time with our family, and the size of unit was adequate, I wish the owner took more pride in maintaining the condo. We would not rent this dump again. I give the location a 5 stars but the unit only gets 1 star, hence my 2 star overall score.

A great Family Ski Trip
The Black Diamond Penthouse at the Beaver Run Resort is a perfect ski in ski out location. The views of the surrounding mountains are wonderful and watching the activity around the lifts adds interest to the views.
The unit is in need of maintainence plus several of the beds leave much to be desired. The beds are well worn plus at least one of them is very hard. Not the best for a good nights rest after a full day on the slopes. Other maintainence items include a window covering that is missing allowing early morning sun to heat the condo, an easy chair with a broken arm and heat that was difficult to control. The resort was working on making the heat function properly however the water banging in the pipes kept some of our party up at night. It was loud!
The building is shy on elevators and waiting for them became an irritant. The building is not new and the elevators are showing their age also.
Again, great location, the ski storage was very helpful and the resort employees were great. A bit of maintainence and a few new beds and this place would be a 10!
