This is the 6th summer renting the cottage. A very relaxed and laid back historic olde Muskoka cottage on an amazing lot with spectacular views of Lake Muskoka. Boating sunbathing and watching the sun rise from the point it’s a classic family place. We love coming back year after year.

This cottage is in a perfect location on a point. Two swimming areas which are rocky and without weeds. They are perfect! The property is big enough to play horse shoes and washers and enjoy sitting and watching the boats go by. The cottage is lovely and fully equipped. Comfortable beds in each room and a good size kitchen for cooking and storing food. We love it here and can’t wait to come back next year!
The owner is lovely and quick to respond each time.

Stunning property with great waterfront!

Great property on the end of the point. An old, well equipped cottage with charm. We loved the back porch with beer fridge and freezer. The charm/age comes at a price. Due to age floors aren't close to level, doors don't close so well. The bathroom needs a serious upgrade (tiny, smelly, and the tub gathers water at the far end). Your drinking water is from 5 gallon water jugs as the water is not treated. Understand these things going in so you won't be disappointed.

This was our second year staying at this beautiful cottage and it was amazing. This year they added a new tv in the living room which was great for the rainy days. We enjoyed the new washers game outside and loved swimming in the clear and clean lake. We can't wait for next year!

This was our second year at this cottage, and again appreciated how easy the communication was with the property owner. The cottage is pretty rustic and provides us with a real cottage experience - amazing sunrises and sunsets, deep water and shallow water swimming, kayaking, grilling on the BBQ, drinks on the dock - a wonderful Canadian summer experience. The location is amazing on Lake Muskoka with sun all day and the cottage sheltered amongst the trees. A lovely place to spend a summer vacation.

We have stayed at a few cottages the past number of years and this was our favourite by far! Lake Muskoka is beautiful! No weeds just lots of rocky shorelines. Our host wisely recommended water shoes which was perfect! There are two lovely swimming spots. The deeper water area (by the flagpole) has bigger rocks which slope into the water. It was our favourite place! It’s also the perfect place for a morning tea or coffee.
The other side of the property by the dock is shallow for quite a ways out. But lots of rocks to navigate. Water shoes make it no problem though. And in the very shallow area just off shore is sandy on the bottom. Great for little children. The property is covered by beautiful pine trees with lots of shade but nothing hindering the view of the lake. We enjoyed playing spike ball and horse shoes to break up the swimming! There are two kayaks and a canoe for exploring.
The cottage itself is very well equipped and very clean. Lots of counter space in the kitchen and the water cooler is amazing! Saves on plastic bottled water.
Bedrooms are good sizes and comfortable beds. We enjoyed games and meals in the lovely dining room and movie nights in the comfie living room.
It’s a short drive from Bala and not far from Gravenhurst.
We really loved our stay here and look forward to coming again next summer!

Very laid back cottage. 110 years old with a nice porch and a gorgeous property. We have rented 3 years in a row and will be back in Summer 22.

Had a great stay at this lovely family cottage, which is as described in the owner's details. The cottage is on a wide treed lot, with wide frontage onto Lake Muskoka. There is swimming in both deep and shallow water, and sun all day in one location or the other. We really appreciated the kayaks, canoes and beach toys. The cottage is very well stocked, with all of the kitchen gadgets we needed (loved the ice maker!) and lots of games for both kids and adults to see us through the rainy days. The wifi was very good and allowed me to work for part of my stay. The owner was extremely responsive to questions and provided lots of details before our arrival. Overall, a great experience - thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is charming and the location stunning. We loved the authentic feel and relaxed set up. Ideal for anyone with school-aged children. Great spot for swimming, fishing and camp fires -- the traditional Muskoka experience!

This is a beautiful property on Lake Muskoka. You will enjoy all day sun from one point to the other. The cottage is rustic, however equipped with all the amenities you need. The single bathroom is the only limiting factor for larger groups.

Very rough. We can handle the old cottage. Rustic is ok (my husband fixed the queen bed as it was collapsed in the middle) the crooked floors we get. 100 years old But the shoreline crushed us. It’s not only full of old dock debris which we get from a storm. But the shoreline is ritled with debris from the old boat house. Boots tools clothes. Papers. Broken beer bottles. It made us afraid to swim anywhere If we hadn’t paid as much as we did we might not be harsh with the criticism. But we seriously overpaid

all the family loved the rustic charm of the cottage. The property is large and the lake shore really nice. Rocks on the approach the beach were a challenge to navigate with a small sail boat.
