Beware of this unit! If you are comfortable sleeping in a gas station toilet stall then this is the unit for you. If you prefer a clean and sanitary place this is not the place for you. In case you are curious read on to be completely satisfied that you have a dodged a bullit by avoiding this catfish of a unit. My husband has stayed at "The Gant"several times before and loved it. Im referring to the units that contact with a hotel service. All the units are privately owned, almost all owners rent their condos through The Gant hotel. The units are rated Premier (Modern cabinetry,fixtures and bathrooms,new appliances, new/clean carpet, clean walls updated furniture)Deluxe (updated fixtures and appliances clean carpets and walls clean updated furniture)
Standard (no upgrades but still in good condition, clean and comfortable) All of these units are monitered and maintained like a 5 star hotel and the housekeeping is thorough and dependable.The owner we rented from listed his unit as a premier unit (using The Gants rating system to sell his unit) the pictures were dated and photoshopped so it was difficult to see that his unit doesnt even meet the lowest rated unit at The Gant. We found out his unit would not have been accepted by"The Gant hotel" into their rental pool. I suspect why he rents privately. The walls, carpet, bathrooms and bedding are filthy. VRBO
asked the owner to call and resolve. The wife while chainsmoking and laughing refused a refund and hung up.

Very comfortable apartment: clean, fully equipped, and spacious. Great location: walking distance to downtown, trails, bike path and Gondola.The staff at The Grant is very friendly. The pool and hot tubs are very nice. Overall an excellent place to stay if visiting Aspen and surrounding areas.

We were extremely satisfied with our stay in this condo at the Gant. The facilities were updated, clean, high end, and thoughtful touches throughout the condo. The Gant was a great location to walk to town easily to get groceries, meals, activities. The front staff and shuttle were quite friendly and accommodating. We couldn’t be happier with our stay and will return.

The unit was clean and comfortable, loved the fire place. The location is perfect easy access to Ajax and can take the Aspen Shuttle or drive to other mountains. Highly recommend this condo.

We did a lot of cool things, zip line, toboggan ride, two gondolas, massage, facial, etc. one down side, the resort had no food or drink offerings after 2 PM. So at the pool, no water, no snacks, no food. No drinks. Disappointed with a facility of this rating.

An absolutely wonderful condo in, what I like to call, the corner pocket of Aspen. Quiet, relaxing and great location. This condo has all the furnishings and amenities you would ever need. Very comfortable beds as well.

Hadn’t been to Aspen in nearly a decade and this by far was one of the best trips we’ve had. Great location - easy access to Ute and Ajax trails. Nice that it was away from hustle and bustle of downtown but close enough to get to the action via short walk or bike. Plenty of space for us all. Would definitely return.

Everyone in my party had a nice stay at The Gant. It is conveniently located within walking distance to almost everything in the town of Aspen. The shuttle bus drivers are very nice and helpful! The booking & check-in process was easy and straightforward.
The condo is in need of some repairs throughout. The shower rod in one bathroom is close to falling as well as other fixtures that are pulling off the wall/drywall. There are other little things that need repaired. The condo was also not very clean when we checked in. There were multiple pieces of clothing left from a previous guest(s) and there were remnants of food between the couch/chair cushions.
After reading some previous reviews, there are some inaccuracies that have been posted as there is not a Gondola view and the mountains are beyond the view of the parking lot. The unit is 2 bedrooms, but the bedrooms are very tight between the beds and furniture. The furniture all show signs of a lot of wear. Overall the condo is "tired" and could use a refresh.

The property manager absolutely refused to work with us. There is a pandemic. I guess the manager would rather have people come with covid and infect anyone than work with them. Thankfully we know right from wrong and never put people as risk.Watch Out! People will be on that property sick due to the manager's absolute refusal to be human in the middle of a worldwide pandemic. They kept ALL of our money. Not only did we take a financial hit but didn't enjoy Easter or break due to illness. This management needs a humanity course.
