Besakih's location has so much going for it! The apartment is in a quiet, tucked away position in town, with no through traffic. Yet we have absolutely everything right on our door step, the beach, shops, famous Markets and farmers markets ,restaurants, pubs and cinemas.
A 100m walk from Besakih and you are at Main Beach and the Byron Bay Surf Club, the only patrolled beach in Byron. This is the most sheltered beach in Byron . There is also a public swimming pool at the Main Beach carpark.
Besakih is directly opposite the site of the famous Byron Markets held on the 1st Sunday of every month, and Every Thursday a Farmers Market sells fresh local organic produce from the site, and is a great place to source some great local fruit, vegies and locally made food.

SO MANY THINGS TO DO, SO LITTLE TIME
The Main Beach of Byron is a popular spot for walkers. Many people walk to The Pass and back, enjoying the fantastic scenery and maybe stopping for breakfast at Clarkes Beach Cafe. A popular walk with locals is doing The Lighthouse walk. This popular walk starts at Main Beach and travels to The Pass, through Palm Valley onto Wategos Beach and continues up to The Lighthouse.
Of course the beach is fantastic! Because it is North facing there is a fabulous view back across the mountains that you could never get tired of. It is common to have dolphins swim in the bay close to shore, they will often surf the waves with swimmers and board riders. Most surf lesson guarantee you will stand on your board or your money back!
The Pass is a lovely beach and it sometimes becomes a tidal lagoon, which is great fun for the kids. People sometimes fish in the lagoon but it is not there all year round. There are lots of beautiful Pandanus trees at The Pass and nice BBQ areas.
I have a 3 bedroom villa at Belongil beach and I also
have a 2 bedroom villa at Belongil Beach so if you
would like information about either of these properties then please call me on 0416263298

A relaxing place to stay. Loved the outdoor areas. Great location easy to walk to market and town but nice and quiet. One extra that would be nice to have is shower gel.

The apartment was ideal for our small group (2 x couples). It was great to be so close to the town and the beach, and a particularly easy walk to the bus terminal. Beds were comfy, shower was great, living area a good size and a very nice shady garden. Happy Easter!

We wish we had booked 10 days. What a beautiful place to land. The unit is as beautiful as the pictures. It's super quiet, super convenient, a farmers market across the street, so close to the beach and amenities. The garden is bliss. I could go on.

Great way to enjoy the best of Byron Bay
Property is well appointed and very functional with a high degree of privacy and space for an apartment.
Bathroom, laundry and kitchen make for an easy and comfortable stay.
Private garden with outdoor dining table etc adds a great dimension.
Quiet and tranquil setting that minutes' walk to the high street and key amenities.

Gorgeous apartment in Byron
Gorgeous apartment in Byron, walk to shops and beach. Lois was so welcoming and lovely, particularly as it was so hard to plan around COVID.

Lovely house, hard to comment as owner arrived at property and requested for us to leave
Booked to stay 4 nights, owner arrived at property after 1st night and aggressively requested for us to leave due to a small gathering we had with our partners. Owner then refused to refund money. Disappointing experience.

Great place to stay. Close to everything

probably better to stay in summer than winter, as the unit has shade most of the day. the unit was comfortable, and had everything you need from a home away from home. the shopping area is about 5 minutes away, and the beach more like ten....but an easy walk for kids and oldies. The one gripe i have about the unit is the number of Buddha like edifices.......i gave up after i counted 20, and not so keen on plastic flowers but only 3 bunches.

Lovely comfortable apartment with stunning private garden. Clean, comfy beds, great bathroom in a handy spot. An easy walk to town or beach and yet just far enough out not to be too intense.

Our family of four had a truly wonderful stay for a week in Byron. The apartment was peaceful, clean, a short walk to the shops, a short run to the beach and had everything we needed. There is a lot of construction in Byron at the moment and when we arrived we were concerned the constructions sites nearby would be problematic but they weren't at all. We enjoyed breakfast in the beautiful sunshine in the garden and had very calm evenings and good sleeps after active days in and around Byron and all the area has to offer. Big thumbs up from us!

Week in Byron
The experience staying at this property in Byron was great. Property was as described and had everything we needed. It was a short walk to the Main Street, shops, restaurants and the beach. There was an issue with the fan in the main bedroom and Lois had it replaced on a Sunday which was a fantastic response. I would highly recommend this property and would stay there again when visiting Byron.

Enjoyable Byron Bay break
We spent 5 nights in Besakih Apartment. Very well presented and comfortable, with very relaxing gardens, and easy access to the beach and town. It was also very convenient to have a garage to park the car in. The kitchen had all you needed to do basic meal prep and self catering. The espresso machine was a little old and tired and the milk frother didn't work, but that gave us a good excuse to explore all of Byron' s many good coffee shops. All in all, a lovely accommodation for a good Byron getaway.

The garden is the best
We arrived in the evening and so did not get a full look at the garden in all its loveliness until the next morning. This property is in a good location, the beds are comfortable and the neighborhood is quiet.

There was everything there that you needed for your comfort and the garden and gazebo created that extra space to relax.
