Two nights for out of town wedding guests. The home was very comfortable and the view of Lake Pend O’reille is beautiful.

Sitting on the deck taking in the nightly sunset was exquisite! The moonlite glistened off the lake…so wonderfully! Even the few trains going by were fun to watch! The inside of the house was perfect for our stay with comfy beds! We enjoyed some card playing on the dining room table and watching TV to close out our nights! Would return if opportunity comes again in a heartbeat!

Overall, this place has a beautiful view of the lake, is cute, has a great hot tub and when you first walk in seems to be well kept.
But, after unsuccessfully trying to contact two different numbers listed for “guest services”, as well as attempting to message the property manager twice through the VRBO app, we didn’t feel taken very seriously. We felt it was important to report some issues with the cleanliness and requested we be promised these issues would be fixed before we left a review. But our communication attempts went unanswered *except for* by someone from Vacasa that wasn’t local. They just said they would pass on our issues to the local property crew, but we were never contacted after that about whether or not our issues would be resolved.
On the outside this home appears to be given a once -over before guests arrive, but not a thorough walk-through and cleaning. It has a serious condensation problem in all the windows and sliding doors, which were all quite filthy too, and we found there were at least three drawers one the kitchen with the cooking utensils, silverware, and other kitchen items needed for daily use that were all sitting in large amounts of mouse feces. Underneath the kitchen sink where all of the new replacement kitchen items can be found there was a large amount of mouse feces as well. Then the morning we checked out our kids woke us because a mouse was running around in the room with the bunkbeds. The front porch light is also broken.

The views on this cute cottage are amazing! We had plenty of room to rest and relax! The kitchen had everything we needed. Trains go by once in awhile, but, we enjoyed the sound! The only thing we suggest, is, adding an ice cream scoop! 😂😂😂
We would definitely stay here again, and recommend to family and friends!

We loved staying here. The view of the lake was amazing! Loved sitting on the deck in the evenings watching the boats come back. Had everything you needed. Saw baby deer and turkeys out walking the road almost every day. I will mention the hwy and railroad tracks can be heard from the location. The train moves through I believe a few times a day. It didn’t bother us though, just be aware of that. We took advantage of the pizza place down the street as well as Drift and the Float restaurant. Loved the vibe of both. Great food and atmosphere. We will return.

View of the lake is accurate in the website posting--gorgeous--even during several thunderstorms. Kitchen is well equipped, but really so narrow that it can accommodate only one chef. Yes, the access road is steep, and the driveway is on a blind curve. But worse than that was the very "chunky" broken asphalt and metal where the driveway meets the road. Even going as slowly as possible in a 4WD pickup, it felt like the tires would be damaged. The rodent trap and bait in the bunk bedroom was concerning, since we had planned for children to sleep there. Awoke to an invasion of sugar ants the last morning, but could have been our fault for not thoroughly wiping down the counter

Lovely
This place has $1 million view. Relaxing in the hot tub looking at the mountains is about as good as it gets

Good, but there was water leaking through walls in master bedroom and bathroom and made a big mess
Good except wet floors in master bedroom and bathroom.

Everything about the experience was good. Property was a little difficult to find. Driveway was steep, be careful in winter. Hot tub was wonderful but cover was long overdue for replacement, it was waterlogged, rotten and heavy. We would stay again but prefer the coast for longer trips.

nice home, less so under wet conditions
This home had a good view of the lake, nice furnishings, and in a convenient location for our trip. With a deluge of rain however, we returned at the end of the day to find a large puddle of water on the floor of the master bedroom, moving into the adjoining bathroom. When I called, I received a prompt reply asking us to put down towels. They offered to deliver additional if we needed, which we did not. We used the washer for one load. I had a small 2nd one and the washer didn't turn on. Again I called and was directed me to the fuse box, which didn't show a problem..not a huge deal but this stay was more stressful than expected.

What a View!
This home was the perfect place for our family to gather and celebrate my husband's 50th birthday! His daughters (and their spouses) were visiting from Florida so we hauled the boat out and enjoyed a couple nights at Aspen Sky. The view was breathtaking, the house was spacious (and well equipped), the yard also large enough for corn hole, the table had plenty of seating for our family dinners (and game nights), and the hot tub was the greatest additional after completing the Scotchman Peak 8.9 mile hike! Thank you for sharing your space so close to the lake - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful view
House was very clean and a beautiful view! It would of been helpful to have curtains on the windows in the bedroom because it got so light in the morning. But we would stay again! Great location, close to restaurants in Hope and not a far drive to Sandpoint

You’ll wish you lived here full time!
The views...! My husband and I got up early every morning to watch the sunrise and stay out late to stare at the stars! The hot tub was an amazing bonus! It fits 3 comfortably but seated for 4. You can squeeze a 4th, just not as much elbow room.
The house has a homey feel the moment you walk in! Views from almost every room in the house!

Peaceful getaway
This was a great place for an extended weekend getaway. The location is in a quite little town that served as a good place to just disconnect. Enjoyed using the hot tub and looking out over the views. The train noise is prevalent, but we just got used to it. Thanks for wonderful hospitality.

Amazing View
We loved the cozy retro style and enjoyed the fireplace daily! Our biggest challenge was parking with our boat trailers and the hairpin turns. But the view was amazing!

Beautiful Lake House
We enjoyed our stay at this home. The home is very comfortable and well equipped. The view from the deck is outstanding.
We also took advantage of the ping pong table and bocce ball set.
The only negative is that the hot tub had not been serviced and the water looked like dirty bath water. We called Vacasa and asked for the hot tub to be serviced. Despite assurances that they would send someone to service the hot tub, no one ever came.

There are not better views of the lake. I know. I live in Hope, and used Aspen Sky for a family gathering. Private and beautiful.

Beautiful
Loved everything about the house, view is amazing. Pizza place in town is delicious, and the little store down the road had a little bit of everything.
The only downside is the internet/phone service and lack of response from Vacasa. No direct number that didn't have a long wait time. The house needs a manual, the notes around the house were helpful.
5 Starts if for the house.

We will return
The place was just as wonderful as we had hoped it would be. The view was spectacular, the hot tub was clean as was the entire place, and the Vacasa manager was very responsive. I sent an email about a few things that were wrong, nothing major at all but wanted to flag, and she called and offered to take care of it immediately. We declined but appreciated her prompt response. Overall it was fantastic. I will note, there is a train that goes by a half dozen times a day. It didn't bother us at all and wasn't all that noticeable inside but if you had young children you would definitely want to use one of the three box fans to help block it out. Yes, three box fans -- this was almost the best part! haha. I need a fan to sleep and I was guaranteed to have one. We will be back!

Gorgeous view!
We had 6 adults and 2 small children stay here and it worked out great! The single level was nice with the kids, we had fun with the ping pong table, the hot tub was amazing at night and the view was simply beautiful at all hours of the day. The house is a short drive or a nice walk to the local market which also has soup, sandwiches, coffee and pastries. It was clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend!

The little house that could
This house is perfect if you want to relax, turn off the electronics and enjoy the view. In a quiet area on a big hill, this place just lets you breathe in the fresh air and listen to nature. Not far from Sandpoint and local forests, it brings peach to a busy life. Had our family of 7 there and worked well for all. Glad to have stayed in a house and have space to visit or be away from each other. I would rent again.
