Situated on a dead-end street, your family will enjoy bicycling, rollerblading, and a morning run through the nearby path to Laudhom Farms. We had a wonderful stay at this Drakes' Island property. This vintage home is truly spacious with lots of room ideal for family gatherings. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is very well equipped and stocked with the basic necessities, and then some. The location is amazing! A long sandy beach right at your doorstep and a quiet neighborhood close to many attractions and restaurants.

This was a great location. Loved the private beach and there was plenty of room for the 6 of us. We got lucky with the nice hot and sunny weather this year so we were able to enjoy the ocean and beach. Definitely be back!

My family loved this house . The location was perfect , it was close to tons of clam shacks and coffee places. We rolled out of bed and jumped into the ocean every morning. The view from the house was incredible.

House was perfect for a family visit. Huge home with a great yard with two separate wings let everyone spread out and have space to themselves. House was very clean and the views off the back porch of the beach/ocean were phenomenal. Would highly recommend for families with young kids, a great visit and a great home. Thanks for sharing it with us!

Great location on huge beach at low tide. Lots of exploring for young and old. Spent the week with grown children and grandchildren playing on the beach. Also went on a lobster boat in Ogunquit, to the trolley museum in Kennebunk, and mini-golfing...but the best was Congdon’s donuts!

Spectacular ocean views in a beautiful vintage home.

We loved this Maine cottage! It combines the best of comfort, cleanliness, and closeness to the ocean with an authentic Maine cottage feeling and beautiful architecture and design. The spacious common room looks out onto the ocean and has a comfy sofa or chair for everyone, a TV area for those who like TV, and a closet full of games and puzzles to entertain kids and adults together. All bedrooms have extra blankets, fans, and clothes hampers. The Wifi enabled us to work when we had to, and the kitchen is well equipped for a large group. There's a clothesline for drying beach towels in the fresh air, a lovely beach-side porch for watching the waves, and a screened porch on the other side that looks over a green lawn. Even on a rainy day (we had a couple), the house is full of light, and the wide windows allow you to enjoy the ocean in full view. The location is ideal for a quick swim or long day on the beach. It's also a great starting point for a bike ride, a beach walk, or a walk to Laudholm Farm (walk up the road toward the little creek and turn left onto a woodland path. If you keep walking past the farm, you can walk all the way to Big Daddy's for an ice cream). We also recommend Kennebunkport's Clam Shack, Congdon's doughnuts, Fisherman's Catch, the Ogunquit Art Museum, and the Ogunquit Playhouse. Altogether, this is a wonderful place to enjoy the beach and build memories. We want to return next summer!

This home was a delight for our family and especially our 85 year old mother who enjoyed day in and day out watching her children and grandchildren enjoy fun in the sun and a week of family time. This was our best Maine rental and hope to come back. Large home, spacious rooms. Great yard with great beachfront views! Thank you for sharing your home.

Our group of 6 couples stayed at this wonderful home for 3 nights. It was perfect. Most importantly, it is steps to the water with amazing ocean views. The house was clean with hardwood floors not dirty carpets. There was plenty of dishes, glasses and cookware. The lawn is huge and we played many games of bocce there. I am a runner and to be able to run the beach and then do yoga at sunrise was amazing. Because of where the house is situated it is very quiet. It is pretty much a neighborhood with houses well spaced and not on top of each other. The only room for improvement is I wish there was a bed instead of a futon in one of the guest rooms. Having stayed at many places, I would highly recommend this home!

We rented for a week last summer and it was quite spectacular! The long, sandy beach is incredible and perfect for walks and exploring. It's in a quite location and wonderful for families. The cottage is very spacious and just as advertised.
