It was a nice property And had plenty of room. Very nice kitchen. Nice game room and plenty of bathrooms. I was a little disappointed that the garage area that had the ping-pong table was musty smelling. But since we did not use that area of the house I’m gonna rate it higher because it really is a nice place to stay.

This place has it all! Hottub, foosball, TT, great kitchen, lots of sleeping surfaces :). It was incredibly kind of the owner to let us stay through 6pm on Monday - we were able to fit in another hike and shower without having to rush in the morning to move out by 10-11am. Thank you so much!

We've been coming to the Baker chalet for years now, partly because it's in such a great location and partly because it's simply comfortable and well appointed. The property is immaculate and well cared for, and communication with the owners is timely and professional. Our group of ten (six adults and four teenagers) loved the hot tub as well as the spacious bedrooms. Can't wait to come back!

The home in Baker Rim was perfect; teens and kids love the ping pong, video games, and foosball. All enjoyed the hot tub after a day of skiing at Baker, which was a 15 minute drive away. Kitchen was well stocked and plenty of space for everyone to cook together. Thanks, recommend to all families.

The property was an amazing and spacious cabin with ample room for everyone! The cabin had everything you needed for a wonderful ski trip: Large garage to store your skis, big kitchen and dining table for family meals, gas stove and heater for when the power goes out, great hot tub and grill for relaxing, and plenty of beds and room for everyone to get some rest. Kitchen is well stocked, wifi was reliable, foosball and ping pong table! There was a lot of toys for children to use as well. No cell phone service which made for a good time unwinding from day to day life. I highly recommend this property to any group looking for a great home base for their Mt. Baker ski trip. Host was responsive and accomodating!

A great stay for four adults and three kids, with room to be together and room to slip away. The kids enjoyed the video games and ping pong. The adults enjoyed the decks and views. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub. The Chalet was clean and very comfy! Great location for visiting the national forest. We'd love to come back!

I loved the ease of where the location is, and the hot tub right out the kitchen door was perfect. Lots of space in the living room to have your friends relax, and most of what you need in the kitchen. sneaky short cuts to Chair 9 pub made the walk easy. Nice to have garage storage for your ski gear!

Suggest you check the free standing heater in the garage. It blows air without heat. All else perfect.

This was our second year staying at Kathryn's property.
We love the location, the property is very roomy and well-equipped, and Kathryn is easy to work with. Expect to return next year.

Awesome mountain getaway!
Six friends from Vancouver, Canada drove down for a relaxing weekend getaway.
We had time to reconnect in a beautiful mountain setting. We had mountain views from the hot tub, went hiking, played PingPong and BBQ'd.
The chalet was spotless, well equipped and welcoming.
We definitely hope to return!!

Nice place for a group trip
Our group had a lot of fun here! There is a nice kitchen common area for dining and games, and we loved the hot tub. One "room" is the basement, which is right off of the garage, and basically the main entrance, FYI. It has a nice futon though, and all rooms have their own temperature controlled in-wall heaters.

Great place for going to Baker
This place was fun to hangout at and we enjoyed our stay while not actively skiing. The kitchen had most of what we wanted, but could use some additions and updates to the kitchenware. Not having any soaps for showing is a little strange, but not a big deal

Winter Family Vacation
It was a rocky start of our stay. We came during the snow storm and found that the cabin (along with the entire community) had no power. The power outage lasted about 30 hours. We were happy to find that the cabin had a propane stove in the main living area so we were warm for the most part. We also were glad that the kitchen range ran on gas so we were able to cook food. We made the best of a bad situation. Communication was difficult since we had no cell phone coverage. We were depending on the wifi at the cabin to use our cell phones. The land line wasn't usable either without power. We pretty much had to just wait for power to be restored.
The cabin has a nice big table that we used for many family games.
Once the power was restored we were also able to use the hot tub which was a wonderful reward after a cold ski day.
It was very much appreciated that the owners gave us a small refund for our power outage troubles.

Great Cabin, Great Price - Perfect for a ski-getaway.
This house worked perfectly for our group of 6 men. The kitchen had all the tools we needed to make a wide variety of foods. 3 bathrooms kept the convenience high. The hot tub sets 6 comfortably. The propane stove is cheery and warm. I only hope that this review doesn't cause this place to be reserved next time we want to rent it.

Charming house in the wilderness.
We searched for places close to North Cascades and this came up (it’s 100 miles away). We had to spend 5 hours each day traveling to and from the National Park. That being said, it’s a lovely house with plenty of space, multiple beds, and a fully equipped kitchen. Mt. Baker recreation area and hiking trails are 45 minutes away. Like most homes in the area, there’s no AC and it touched a 100° on one of the days. The pedestal fans helped some. Remember to bring your own groceries, including shampoo. Be sure to read the instructions from the host carefully.

Nice space for a larger group
We wanted a place where we could all fit and this fit the bill nicely. Game area was used by adults and kids and we all had space to settle once the activities were done.
Shampoo and soap were not supplied. Might be a Covid thing though.
Nice large kitchen for a couple of families to use at the same time.
We enjoyed our stay there.

Some suggestions
We had a great stay! Cabin was everything we had hoped for - quiet, remote, sufficient comfortable beds, nice hot tub.
Unfortunately we weren't able to run the outside grill - either both gas cannisters were empty or we didn't understand the directions. A larger quantity of basic supplies such as towels, TP, trash bags, etc. would have been nice, but that's what stores are for and the one in Glacier was sufficient for our needs. There should be at least one extra set of bedding, but the washer kept up with our needs. Likewise the ice maker seemed not to be running well, but we managed. A better method of catching stuff that fell into the sink would probably help protect the septic system. WiFi worked great and since some of our phones could work with WiFi we never lost connectivity.

We loved staying here. It was in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood close to hiking trails. We loved walking down to the river just minutes from the house every night after dinner. The hot tub was nice and plenty of room for everyone.

Wonderful stay!
My family (with 3 kids aged 8, 11, 12) had a wonderful stay here and would definitely consider staying again. We loved having gear space in the garage, the kids loved the hot tub, and the 3 levels were wonderful for everyone to have their own space when needed during the week. Great location with close proximity to Mt Baker skiing and tubing, walks along the river and a visit to play in the snow at the nearby state park. The kitchen was very well equipped. Oddly, we couldn’t find a wine opener, but purchased and left one for the next folks. :-). Otherwise everything was great!
