About this cabin rental
Our historic, updated and cozy cabin makes a great retreat and base of operations for exploring the Rocky Mountains and the Estes Valley. Come experience the majesty of Rocky Mountain National Park, the abundance of elk, and the quaint village of Estes Park!
Awesome views of the Rocky Mountains and wildlife wandering through the front yard are yours from this clean and comfortable, vintage cabin. Conveniently located less than a mile from the Rocky Mountain National Park entrance and within a mile from the heart of downtown Estes Park, you can come home after a fun day of hiking, shopping, or exploring and relax in the spacious living room by the wood-burning moss-rock fireplace. The living room also has two cozy leather couches, leather chair with ottoman, coffee table, elk horn chandelier, flat screen TV with Dish Satellite, DVD player, and wireless Internet service. We have added new fur pillows and fur throw blankets in the living room -- we think you’ll love curling up on the leather couches with these!
The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for meal preparation (including a new Samsung full-sized stainless four-burner stove/oven, refrigerator, quiet new Bosch stainless dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and basic coffee supplies, toaster, pots and pans, crockpot, dishes, glassware, cooking utensils, silverware, spices and linens) with an adjacent dining area. The dining table seats 6 people comfortably.
You can also barbeque using the full-size Weber charcoal grill and dine outdoors in Summer and Fall. Kick back on the Adirondack chairs on the front deck and soak up the views of Long's Peak, Mt. Meeker, Twin Sisters and more.
One bedroom on the main level has a queen bed with down comforter, plenty of closet space, walls finished with knotty pine and windows for a great view of the mountains. Custom-made Murphy bed with brand new double mattress in the living room sleeps two more. There is also a twin bed in an alcove off the living room.
One full bath with tub/shower and plenty of towels provided. The bathroom is stocked with a travel-sized hairdryer, small sample sizes of soaps and lotions, etc. We provide a few rolls of toilet paper, a roll of paper towels, several dinner napkins and a box of tissues to get you started, but you may need to buy more paper products depending on the length of your stay.
Laundry room has a washer and dryer. We provide laundry detergent for a couple of wash loads, but you may need to buy more soap during your stay. There is also a travel-sized ironing board, an iron, cleaning supplies and trash bags stored in the cupboards above the washer and dryer.
We keep in the living room closet a portable crib with fitted sheets and blankets, a highchair and a back-pack style child carrier for your use at no additional charge.
Enjoy your mountain get-away in a comfortable, rustic cabin nestled at the base of 14,000-foot peaks. Gorgeous mountain views and wildlife such as elk, coyote, deer and rabbit are yours for year-round viewing from the cabin. We provide you with recommendations for hikes, activities and restaurants here in Estes Park, and we also keep maps and brochures in the cabin for your reference.

This was the best value, with great hosts, great location, super clean and had everything you need to have a great stay right next to RMNP. The hosts were wonderful and easy to communicate with and provided lots of tips and information which added to the quality of our stay. Would stay here in again without hesitation.

Beautiful view of Longs Peak and Mountains. Right next to RMNP Beaver Meadows entrance. Zip right back into town as well. Market and gas very close. Met all of our cooking, sleeping, and relaxing needs. We are recharged with the beauty of the area. Host was always available to answer any question with a simple text.

I had a nice visit, very close to park and town. Hiked the entire time except the last day we shopped in Estes Park. After checking out the property manager texted me wondering where the remote controls were for the TV. We never even used the TV (we came to hike). The property manager still hassled and took

We enjoyed our recent stay at this cabin located on High Drive, a very desirable part of town. The view of Longs Peak is spectacular and the cabin is only a few minutes from entrance to RMNP. Owners are extremely friendly and respond quickly to questions. This short term rental is highly recommended.

The house is so convenient to RMNP and the views are spectacular! We watched a storm come in and the house was the perfect place to see it. Bed was comfy and clean. The window blinds need to be replaced and there was some trash under one of the couches, otherwise, a great place!

GORGEOUS cabin with EVERYTHING. it's much larger than we expected. The views of the mountains were beautiful. We loved sitting on the front porch and reading. RMNP is RIGHT there. You can walk to the sign if you wanted to. Really close to Smokin Daves BBQ, which we highly recommend after a long day of hiking. We will definitely be back.

I can’t even begin to tell you how magical this cabin and location is. It is extremely clean, and there is nothing the host didn’t think of. Pamela is so pleasant and accommodating. This property is ABSOLUTELY stunning. Pictures could never do it justice. The wildlife was amazing to watch, and everyone in town was so very sweet. It’s only a few miles from the historical Stanley Hotel, and there are many fantastic dining options close by as well. There’s plenty to do, but the Cabin itself was breathtaking. I would absolutely recommend this cabin for any age, or occasion. We will be returning. We fell in love.

We had everything needed and more! Lots of space for the 2 of us. Views from the porch, living, dining, kitchen, and bedroom were awesome! We had mule deer in the front yard twice in our 4 day stay. The access to town and national park was perfect, just minutes to both. Pam was a wonderful host, very responsive. Would definitely stay here again!

Absolute best choice for a stay with a 2.5 year old! Crib, hiking toddler backpack, plenty of games and books. Our son absolutely loved it. The crib fit best in the loft in the second room so he had somewhere to sleep while we stayed up a little later. Overall very comfortable home and super convenient location. Would stay again!
